Warrior Terminator
Reasons for Hatred

After leaving Ferdinand and Margaret the four of them returned down the main road. Alpha and Ursa are still searching for the path that they think is most suitable for use in the territory of ordinary human settlements.

“How about passing here?” Ursa.

Alpha looked at the small entrance seriously. His face showed that he was thinking hard. Only then did the young man shake.

“Why?”

“I don't think we'll find anything interesting if we go this way.” Alpha reveals the reason.

“Is it important? After all, from wherever we enter it makes no difference,” said Diphda.

“It's not like it's the way it plays, Ms. Diphda. Choosing the right path means also choosing an adventure, if one chooses then the adventure we look forward to will be different anyway.” Alpha retaliates.

“Padahal only enter a settlement.”

“At the same time,” replied Alpha.

They also walked back. After turning to the right they found a forked road leading to the territory of an ordinary human settlement. The end of the street was a multi-storey restaurant.

“Which one did you choose?” Diphda asked, with only half the interest.

“This one!”

“This path!”

Alpha and Ursa pointed simultaneously to a street on the left side of the restaurant. They smiled broadly at the similarity of the premonition that the path would be interesting.

They finally entered through the small road. The further they get into the street the more people they meet. It was as if the interior of the settlement was the center of the city itself. It was completely different from the main road.

Unfortunately their arrival slightly reduced the fanfare there. Every time they passed through the crowded crowd people would look at them unfriendly. However, Alpha and Ursa really do not take the thought with it. Unlike Diphda and Kraz who are increasingly uncomfortable when they go further in.

“Hey, you guys are satisfied to be here, right? Let's go back to headquarters,” take Kraz.

“No, no, where maybe we'll be back that soon. It's time for lunch anyway. We have to eat here,” reject Alpha.

“See! The restaurant is very crowded there! Maybe the food is very good, let's go there!”

Without the consent of anyone Ursa rushed towards the diner she appointed. Even so, still everyone followed him to the place. When they came, the fanfare from the shop was suddenly silenced. Those who are not stupid, of course, understand what is happening.

“Do not think of us, just continue what you are doing. We're just travelers stopping by to eat!” call Alpha cuek.

“Hei!” A man interrupted them. “Don't you know that this settlement is only for ordinary humans? Star man should not enter this area.”

“Yes. But I'm a mixed human.”

“And I'm a regular human.”

The man was furious. “It doesn't change the facts! Not that you also see that we do not like your presence here.”

Alpha is breathing. He's pissed off. “I want to ask. What exactly makes you, the ordinary and the star man, hate each other? Including why you have the heart to excommunicate mixed human settlements far on the outskirts without any security. I want to know.”

“That's none of your business!” exclaim the man annoyed.

“Alright.. since you are strangers who know nothing, I will tell you, the reason why we hate each other," said someone in a sudden heavy voice.

“Grandpa!”

Everyone was shocked by the words of an old man standing behind the counter table. In his hand was an iron teapot, he poured drinking water in it on the aluminum cups in front of him. He looked at the little Alpha group.

“Listen while sitting and drinking,” the door.

According to him, the four of them sat behind the counter table. Other visitors to the store did not make a fuss or whisper. They respect the shop owner's grandfather, they don't want to interrupt his conversation.

“Hate... actually the problem was solved hundreds of years ago. We are only ego-filled people. Dislikes due to the many differences between the two groups of humans can reappear easily. And that's not just happening in this Bode City alone, but throughout this Earth Country.”

Alpha and Ursa nodded in agreement.

“Perhaps the hatred between the two groups is most evident in this city. I don't deny it, because that's how it is. But we don't really hate each other. The hatred was created only because of the incomprehension of the present generation with the rivalries of its predecessor,” continued the grandfather.

“What rivalry do you mean, Grandpa?” ask Ursa.

“Hahaha..” the laugh is light. He rolled his eyes across the store. “I'm sure you've all never heard of this. This has happened since the beginning of Bode City. A large army of soldiers was sent to the large settlement that was here to protect this city. The army was made up of ordinary humans as well as star humans. Their leader is two friendly people.”

“And they come from two different human groups.” Alpha guessing.

“Yes. Youre right. They're different. However, this difference does not make them hate each other. In fact, because of the differences that make them try to outperform each other, not in bad terms, but to show that even though they are different they can achieve the same thing.

Their competition is healthy. They respect each other and don't drop. As a result, the city became a prosperous city. Buildings begin to be built. The city is arranged. Guaranteed security. Of course the whole population was very happy. But all that still goes into the match that shows the rivalry between the two leaders. Regarding the rivalry of the two, of course their supporters were split into two.

Star people support their star human leaders and vice versa. The rivalry never stopped until the two leaders died in their duty to protect the city from a ramplite attack. They died honorably as soldiers. Nothing they regret.

Unfortunately it is only for them and does not apply to their supporters. They argued that it was the leader of them who was more honorable to his death. No one gave up. Because the exact evidence of the death of the two no one really knows it, his followers continued the rivalry.

But this rivalry is unhealthy. More and more years pass not competition for the good they do, but rather the desire to take down that grows. From there the beginning of hatred is formed.

Go on and on, they try to be the best by dropping everything else. They are completely separated. There is no longer a remnant of the friendship that their leader once exemplified. It lasted until now.”

Grandpa ended his long story. He smiled to find the shocked faces of his fellow humans usually. They said nothing but silence.

“If you are wondering why I know, it is because I am a child who lives by admiring the two leaders. I will not ask you not to hate the star man or to end this polluted rivalry. I have no right to ask for it because I hate them too. But now when I'm so old like this I remember how much fun living in this city used to be.”

The grandfather looked at Ursa. “Do you think?”

“Yes. I assume that you're all silly.”

“Indeed,” the grandfather does not deny. “But I'm sure of one thing. That each of us would be a great combination if we were united. For now it may not be visible, but if the opportunity for us to protect this city with life so the stakes I will not doubt if we can work together compactly and win. Since that's how we are, don't want to budge each other.”

“It is difficult to believe, but the possibility of it happening is indeed very large,” said the man earlier.

“Well, that's obvious. Because in any way we will not lose to those star humans.”

“Yes! Of course!”

“Grandfather,” call Alpha, “then what about mixed humans? Why are they hated by this city?”

“From my story you know clearly that we are very loyal to our descendants and class, right?”

“Ya,” reply Alpha.

“Not only loyal, we are proud and very uphold our identity. But those, mixed humans don't have that. They throw away their identity and pride just to fulfill their wishes. They are not one of us. Of course it makes them discriminated and have no supporters.”

“I think alienating them far to the outskirts of the region is too much,” said Ursa.

“You're wrong. We didn't throw them out. They go away on their own. It is precisely they who marginalize themselves.”

“Why?”

“They have chosen not to be one of the two groups, then it means they will not get support from anyone, they are experiencing pressure and difficulties. But they are not strong with the rewards they receive, so they run away.

It made us hate them even more. Because unlike those of us who desperately defend our pride as part of their respective groups, the mixed man even easily fled and felt himself a victim. Though if they have chosen to be different they also have to bear the risk of their choice it.”

“I agree with you, Grandpa,” Alpha said suddenly.

Ursa, Kraz and Diphda looked at him in shock. They didn't expect Alpha to give their consent. They thought the young man would be more on the side of mixed humans.

“Oh. So you understand what I mean, young man.”

“I agree with you that indeed they should be responsible for their choices. Because that is how our village works. However, I still disagree with your actions that ignore the security for them.”

“It was also part of their reward,” replied the grandfather.

“I know... I know it, but still..” Alpha furious. He also tried to restrain his emotions. “But to save those who are in danger there is no need for pride in identity, but only humanity.”.

“Itu—”

“That's easy to do. After all, you yourself said it was not difficult to work together to protect this city from the enemy. But you didn't do it to that mixed human settlement yesterday. They are also part of the city. It should be if you have pride to protect the relics of your precious leader you can do it,” Alpha said.

“Heh! Why should we do it for them? The star man did not do it either. There is no advantage of winning if we do good like that,” the man earlier.

“Well, that's it!” Disrespectfully Alpha pointed at the man blatantly. “It is precisely because the star man did not do it that you will instantly become the winner.”

The man was flabbergasted to hear Alpha's reply.

“Not only that! If they still do not want to compete with you in terms of protecting mixed human settlements then it means they are not able to compete with the matches you make. It even adds up to your victory!” Alpha's getting hotter.

“You...your idea..”.

“Excellent, isn't it?” Alpha is semringah.

“Really! This young man is right too!”

“Ah, come to think of it can be like that too..”

“Ya.”

“It's quite reasonable.”

People began to argue that the Alpha proposal was not a bad thing, but in their favor. The shop came back boisterous with the discussion of victory that ordinary humans would get if taking that action first.

Ursa looked at him in amazement. ‘Alpha, you really are something. Can make such a profitable idea for mixed humans according to their own way of playing.’

“Young man,” grandfather was calling.

“Ya, what's up Grandpa?”

“You deliberately said it all so they would protect that mixed human settlement, but why?”

“The military forces of this country do not want to intervene alone to do this. I'm just an outsider who can't interfere. It would be a pity if they survived without protection on this yet peaceful land. Because as much as you hate each other it is not appropriate to let the other suffer when you live comfortably.”

Grandpa laughed in a friendly tone. “You are very kind. Though itself is a stranger.”

Alpha smiling widely. “I was greeted very warmly by them, so I don't feel foreign at all. In addition, maybe my actions are also based on my sympathy as a fellow human star.”

“Stay, you are a good person.”

“If you insist on praising me, Grandpa, then I say thank you!” exciting Alpha.
