Warrior Terminator

Warrior Terminator
Incitement

Alpha enters Algol's room with a breakfast buffet. The captain was sitting on the side of the bed while moving his left hand which had just come out of the cast.

“Yo, Captain! How are you doing?” Alpha greets.

“My hands are capable enough to hit you and my feet are strong enough to kick you.”

Alpha grunting. “Not the answer I want to hear, but at least you sound excited,” the young man said. “Your breakfast,” he said while handing over the tray.

Algol accepted it and immediately started eating it. “What about the development of its settlement construction?” tanyanya.

“Lumayan. Almost all families have their new homes. Even at night they work. Mr. Kraz and Ms. Diphda plans to open up land to grow crops today. I'll be there soon after this to help hijack.”

“Hijack?”

“Yes. Remember my drill technique? It is very effective for soil. It's faster to use my power than to embrace it. After that they will use horses to scratch the ground and after that must get rid of the stones so that the soil can be overgrown properly.”

“You know a lot apparently.”

“For a long time I often helped my mother make a vegetable garden behind our house,” replied Alpha. “Oh, but I once cleared land from zero for agriculture as punishment. So that's why I know enough.”

“Hee. You are reliable, yes.”

Alpha waited a little while until the captain finished his meal. After that he was asked for his help to stretch the muscles. Since Algol had started to move his limbs again he always asked his colleague to help him recover, because otherwise his body would be stiff.

“It's enough, Alpha.”

The young man released a backward pull on both of Algol's arms. He stretched his hands up. Alpha took a tray of used breakfast.

“Then, Mr. Algol, I'll catch up to the new settlement.”

“Alpha.”

“Ya?”

“Thank you.”

The young man smiled faintly, hinting that Algol would not have to think about it. Alpha left Algol's room. However, in the hall not far from Algol's room he had already been intercepted by Aldebaran, the commander of the star man's military headquarters.

“What are you doing with me, Sir?”

“You and one more person, are hostages, right?”

Alpha's face turned sour hearing it. “Then, why?”

“Nothing. It's just that I noticed that you guys never tried to escape. You guys are obedient hostages, huh.”

“We've tried it, Sir, many times,” Alpha says it while raising his shoulders, “but, always thwarted. Running from them is not easy if you only know.”

“That's only when they're watching you in full. But here, I noticed you never tried it. Or do you feel comfortable being part of the Algol team? Is that your true feelings or is it just your game? In fact, if you want, you can run away easily with your friends, after all your captain is not in his best condition and others are busy.”

Alpha's water changes slowly. Feeling comfortable? He is not a part of the Algol team. A game? He doesn't think so. He has repeatedly said that he is only a prisoner. He's not playing around here.

“I heard that you're pretty strong. But, since I never saw you try to escape them, I don't think you're as strong as you're talking about. Because if you are, then it is very easy for you to run from them.”

“I—aakh!”

Alpha talk disconnected. He felt the heat coming from his neck. The seal that was coiled around his neck lit a blackish purple. A chain of light came from his neck that was connected to Algol who was standing in the doorway of his nursery.

“He didn't do it, Sir Aldebaran, because he couldn't,” Algol said. He pulled the chain until it inevitably made Alpha interested in retreat. “So, sir, if you just want to make sure that he will be fine without my direct supervision then the answer is yes.”

Aldebaran glanced at the cold Algol. He also said flat, “Thank God then.” And he immediately left them.

Algol. He felt that Aldebaran was inciting Alpha to flee. He didn't know why the man did it. But, if he wanted to speculate, then it was because he did not like what his team had done in his city and he wanted to get them in trouble with the Alpha blurring scandal.

“Ka-captain...! Please release! My neck hurts...!” alpha stub.

“Ah! Excuse me. I forgot.”

As soon as the chains that tied his neck disappeared Alpha coughed while holding his neck. It was always in pain that every chain appeared and bound him.

“Alpha. If you're thinking about trying to escape, you better forget it. The range of this seal that I can use may be only a hundred meters, but Sir Puppis is free to use it without restriction. That means you won't be able to run away from her even if you run away from me.”

“Ya... yes...! I knew! I still haven't forgotten!” says annoyed.

...***...

“Ah! Oh, yes.”

Alpha also pulled the rake tool used again. Four meters away, he stopped again. His face seemed to be thinking of something. And he talked it over with Ursa shortly afterwards.

“Ursa, do you think we are too relaxed?”

“You mean?”

“Because we are not trying to escape, when our situation is actually dire. We should find and save the people. However, look at what we do, instead make settlements for other residents.”

Ursa was surprised by Alpha. Before he was fine and did not mind anything, but now he suddenly said that. Ursa guessed that someone might have said something to her.

“Our situation is indeed being squeezed, but that does not mean we are relaxing because we cannot save our own villagers. After all, we're taken prisoner. Besides, it's not that I want to blame you, but because of the seal that is on you we can't escape Sir Puppis.”

“Indeed,” reply Alpha is weak, “but, if we work on it maybe we can run away for a while, before it is found and caught again. However, in that period we can search our villagers and save him.”

Ursa nodded. “I understand. Meaning you want us to escape right now.”

Alpha's dumbfounded. He didn't think about it actually.

“This is also a good time, where Mr. Algol who is the main key to watching you is not there. So, at best we will only face three people,” continued Ursa.

“No, I don't think that far, it's just..”.

Alpha is full of doubts. Ursa understands that. The young man again said, “What's wrong with you, Alpha? You're plan-plan.”

With a gloomy face Alpha answered. “I know I can't escape this seal. But, I feel that we are too resigned to the situation, even if we try it we can run away. Instead of doing that we are working with Captain Algol and the others to do their job. We are no longer prisoners, but their comrades!” said frustration.

“Then, what's wrong with that?”

“That's wrong..?”

“Yes. Is there anything wrong with us being partners to them? I asked you that, Alpha. What's your answer?”

“I...” he paused for a long time, weighing whether the answer was worth revealing or having to look for another answer, but in the end Alpha decided to be honest, “...I don't feel there's anything wrong with us doing.”

“Really! It doesn't exist!” Ursa said quickly. “So, stop feeling frustrated and sinful!”

Alpha opens his mouth, trying to deny that he's not that bad. However, Ursa thwarts it by adding new sentences.

“Listen, Alpha, I agree that we are in a state of crisis where we should save the population, but instead be taken as prisoners as a source of information. However, do not forget that our villagers are not weak people. Five years of hiding without being discovered is the proof,” Ursa said.

He took two steps closer to Alpha. Without insisting on a voice, he assured his friend.

“Remember also that who protects them is not only us, but many more. Our old friends, the Guardians, all the village soldiers, even the residents who are able to protect each other, they are not just dependent on us. Somehow in what way, they managed to do it. We are the same, just need to do as much as we can in our own way. Stop moody. Your remorse for our current situation does not change anything.”

Alpha nodded. Getting such a speech from a person of her age in the same condition seemed to slap her face. A moment ago Alpha was embarrassed, he cursed himself.

“You're right,” murmured.

“Let me ask you about one thing, Alpha,” connect Ursa is still not finished. “Try asking your heart, do you feel that what we are doing here—helping mixed humans build their settlements again—is a mistake? Or do you consider this a form of relaxing? Is our action called self-indulgence?”

“No. I don't feel that way at all,” he replied accompanied by a confident slack.

“Well! If you feel that way, don't put on a sullen face again! You are not the most miserable person in the world because of the circumstances we face today,” Ursa said again. “Now, back to work! And fix your mind!”

“Ya—oi!” Alpha exclaims because his fork was forcibly cut down by Ursa. In his hand was a basket filled with stones.

“Stay! I kept bowing and picking up stones. Now replace you who did it.”

Before Alpha could protest, Ursa immediately moved her fork away from Alpha who was grumbling. But, not long after that Ursa came back to Alpha.

“But, Alpha, if you plan to run away another time where we are not holding the responsibility we are today, then I will gladly support your plan,” he said with a wide grin.

“Ya!”
