Not a Balanced Opponent

Sraak.

Alpha jumps back. He stared intently at his opponent. His sword was still unsheathed with a whitish blue light that covered it.

Just three seconds he retreated his opponent had already scattered him. He punched and kicked. Alpha's trying to fend it all off. However each sword was caught by the hands of his opponent who had sharp teeth like the light venus flytrap plant that coated it would be absorbed. And while it's still locked up, Alpha gets kicked so hard that it hits a building.

“Akh!” alpha groaned when he again kicked hard.

“You, Alpha, haven't really progressed since we were detained at military headquarters. All the exercises you have done so far do not make you stronger, but only restore the condition as before.”

The memory of Ursa's words some time ago re-entered Alpha's head. He grimaced remembering that again, but he was upset. “Which Ursa said is true. I'm not growing. Even face it I'm having trouble.”

Alpha is trying to get up. But before he succeeded the ramplite was in front of him suddenly, then with the power of light he got from the soldier he had prey on he made a spear of light. He's gonna stab Alpha with it. But Alpha moves fast by making the dome a protector.

Unwilling to stay still, the ramplite formed a giant venus flytrap with its power of light. The plant with sharp pointed teeth was biting the Alpha dome. Initially Alpha was calm because there was no effect of the attack, but when he saw there began to be cracks in the dome he was forced to think of other ways to survive.

“I will be instantly devoured once this dome is destroyed,” muttered Alpha.

“Khukhukhu...! You look pretentious against my comrades, but look at you now, you are not worth my current strength!”

Alpha twitched in annoyance with the scorn. When pressed, he is very irritable. “You...! Who is out of balance against whom, huh?! Feel this! Delta Velorum: Driller!”

As the ramplite evaded the winding Alpha drilling machines, the young man came out of the dome silently. Alpha took a distance from there, he stretched his hand forward, preparing with another technique.

“Delta Velorum : Alpha Beam.”

“Now you know that you are the one who is out of balance against me,” said the arrogant Alpha.

Algol came over. “Finally you're done.”

Not responding to him, Alpha actually peeked at the enemy that Algol fought. The ramplite was defeated. Algol himself did not suffer many injuries, unlike him. His pleasure at winning turned into a feeling of defeat after comparing himself to his captain.

“Don't be so moody. You fought well too. Let's find another opponent and finish the battle right here.”

But a sound of footsteps made the two undo the intention. They both look back. Someone walked towards them.

“Hm? Ordinary man. Could he be a resident, Captain?”

“It seems not. This settlement is only inhabited by mixed humans,” reply Algol. “Who are you?”

The man stared with cold eyes. He did not answer Algol's question. Instead, make a request. “Tell me where Anser Vulpecula is,” he said.

“What do you need with that guy?”

“Not your business.”

“Of my business,” sergeant Algol. “He should come with us. Since we were here first then he was ours. It's in the interests of the military.”

“You mean that if I want to deal with him I have to snatch it from you guys, so?”

“Only if you can do it.”

“Heh.” He grunts amusedly. “You better not challenge me, because you won't be able to win against me.”

“Bominy!” cecar Alpha's. “We don't know before trying, right?”

“Try it and you will die.”

Luxco jumped up and rolled away dodging the attack Anser had launched from above. The attack was a light shot that resembled lightning. The ground that was hit by the attack exploded.

“Khukhukhu...! With this height you won't be able to beat me!”

Luxco ran agilely avoiding Anser's attack. He pointed his right hand up. In that hand appeared a small cannon made from the power of its light. While continuing to run Luxco pointed it at Anser.

“Alpha Centauri : Hand Cannon!”

Boom up! Duarr! Boom up! Duarr!

The resounding sound that followed the explosion filled their fight. Anser flew meandering avoiding Luxco's barred cannon fire.

But again Luxco clever sense, he did not waste the blast light he created. He re-formed the debris into large, pointy needles that flew around Anser. The needles were directed to attack Anser.

Anser who still had to avoid Luxco's cannon fire did not have much time to dispel the needles. He covered his body with his wings. Amazingly the needles were blown away when they hit Anser's wing.

“Oi... oi... how hard is the wing? Just be right!”

“I told you, right, my strength is on a different level than yours. You better just give up. Please forgive me and I will kill you without torturing you further. But if you keep fighting then—”

Luxco ignored Anser's words. He focused his cannon on Anser. The sound echoed after the contents of the cannon were fired buzzing in Luxco's ears. Anser again closed his wings to avoid an explosion.

At that moment Luxco quickly fired his cannon again, but this time it was not an explosive ball that came out, but a large arrow with a rope made of light. Just as Anser opened his wings the arrow pierced through him. The arrow was controlled by Luxco to tie Anser's neck. After that Luxco pulled it hard to make Anser fall hard to the ground.

“Si-fucking you!”

“Yes, yes, I am the fucking one. Finally, the capture of a bat was successful,” Luxco said haughtily. Luxco pulled a rope wrapped around Anser's neck, forcing her to half stand up. “Now, you will answer all my questions.”

Unexpectedly Anser even grinned. “If you think you've won, then feel this!”

The horn on Anser's head extended very rapidly. It became long enough to stab Luxco in the left shoulder and penetrate him. Luxco bellowed in pain, his control of strength on the rope that tied Anser loosened. The opportunity was used by the man who no longer resembled the man to escape.

Anser flew back into the air. He broke his elongated horn and with all his might was thrown at Luxco. The horn was also shrouded in a red light that spirally whirled. Luxco should have managed to avoid it, but when the horn layered light was close to him Anser made the light that enveloped him widened so that it scratched Luxco's left shoulder. Blood was shed from two wounds caused by Anser.

“I'm sick of fighting with you. I'll crush you along with those residents too.”

A bright red light came out from both hands of Anser. The light was centered in front of his hand, the radiance was more and more, but the light was not spread but was centered at one point until it solidified. That red light turned into a giant red ball, so deep red. The ball of light is encased by a transparent, cone-shaped red light.

Luxco widened his eyes. This was the first time he had seen such a huge attack technique. Not only was it conspicuous, the large-scale attack could destroy the settlement behind it.

Anser directed it right at Luxco. “Death to you in this explosion!”

‘I have to hold it!’ Luxco.

From the tip of the cone it shot out a dense red ball of light that was inside it very quickly. The powerful shot hit Luxco, who had secured himself inside the dome.

Big explosions are inevitable. His thunderous voice was no less powerful than a volcanic eruption. The dazzling red light from the explosion blew away everything he loved, including trees and houses. All those affected by the explosion shattered formless.

“Kh-uuukh!”

Luxco tried hard to hold back the explosion. Even though the dome he created had the strength of seven-layer steel equivalent, he was pushed back slowly, and gradually cracked. Luxco continues to drain its power into its dome so that it is not destroyed or he will die instantly due to the super powerful explosion.

After a long time, the explosion stopped. Luxco's dome was destroyed instantly as it reached its limit. The man's hand trembled and his breath gasped. It actually emitted a lot of light power to withstand the attack just now.

How surprised Luxco found that the previous settlement had been flattened to the ground when he looked back. Residential homes have been completely destroyed, including the forests surrounding the small settlement. Not a single person was standing on the ground. Just emptiness. Luxco is aiming at Anser. He shot out arrows of light chasing after the man. No matter how agile or tall Anser flew Luxco's arrows continued to follow him. Then with the light cannon in his hand Luxco shot out a ball of light, but the explosion was just a blinding burst of light. And at that time Luxco threw his chain to snare one of Anser's legs. He pulled her, causing Anser to fall to the ground.

“Damn it! I won't get caught a second time!”

But Luxco is not as careless as it was. He darted quickly close to Anser and instantly slashed his horn using a sword of light. He then tied the wings of Anser using iron chains. Unmitigated, Luxco acted far away to break both the man's arms and legs.

“AAAARKKH!”

Still unsatisfied, Luxco made two large pegs of its power of light. He also bound Anser's body stretched between the two pegs. Then with a sword drawn to the man's neck Luxco grinned widely.

“This is my win.” Luxco. “You won't be balanced against me even if you turn into a monster. Catch that!”
