Warrior Terminator

Warrior Terminator
The Situation in Bode City

“How are you doing?” tanya Ursa approached Alpha who was sitting on one of the benches in the hospital hallway.

“It's been much better. After a sufficient rest my strength has returned,” reply youth with eyes of different colors. Alpha suddenly remembered his defeat by Enceladus. “Ursa.”

“Ya?”

“I really feel that I'm not growing. I was defeated so easily by Enceladus before I even began to exert all my abilities. I really suck!” sorry Alpha somber.

Ursa can understand Alpha's feelings. Moreover, he knows the nature of his best friend. Alpha is easily depressed with its defeat. He really has the personality of a boy when it comes to his physical appearance, strength, success, as well as defeat. So with a gentle smile Ursa offered a helping hand.

“You practiced with me?”

Alpha stared. He also made conditions. “The rule is not to hold back.”

“Accepted.”

Alpha welcomes Ursa's hand, but soon Ursa pulls Alpha up and kicks him hard into the hospital yard. The unexpected Alpha with a super-fast direct hit was lying on the ground holding his stomach in pain.

“Ka-you..”

“The rule is not to hold back.” Ursa repeats the Alpha sentence exactly the same.

Alpha stood up. Ursa waited for the young man to be ready and then went forward to attack.

They really don't hold back. Both do what they can to outperform each other. As Ursa once said when they were in Mayall Village, he could win from Alpha. However, because their goal was to surpass their previous ability they did not stop despite being battered.

Mumpung hospital is near them then it does not matter if their bodies are crushed, both agree with it.

No one knew, but someone was observing them with a dislike face. A man of their age with handsome looks, short hair straight as ferrari, as well as burgundy red eyes, looked at Alpha and Ursa with an irritated face.

“They..”.

The footsteps of the two people approached the young man. They-they have the aura of a strong person, also arrogant, because they are star humans.

“Arcturus. What are you noticing?” ask one of the women among them.

“People who mess up our mission.”

The two men looked at Alpha and Ursa. Their faces did not show much change. Not interested at all.

“Our needs here are done. Let's go,” said another man.

They also left the place. Some of the soldiers who crossed paths with them immediately stepped aside and gave way to the three people. Judging from the behavior it seems clear that they are so respected.

Diphda, Kraz, and Okul who turned out to be not far from there noticed the three with less pleasant facial water. Especially Kraz and Diphda, they grumbled when they saw the treatment received by the three people.

“Sagu!” grunts Kraz.

“They are respected because they are indeed strong. I believe the strength of the three people is above us,” Okul said.

“But that doesn't mean they can be arbitrary towards us. Remember what they told us earlier, they said we ruined their mission, but if they had been after Anser for a long time they should have moved faster.” Diphda protested.

“Already. They were just upset that they didn't get information from Anser, but we got it instead,” Okul said. “They may not be happy, but the info we get is just as useful for them, so there are no more problems between us.”

Kraz shuffled his own hair. “Tapinya, yes. They are still young, strong, and moreover they are the chosen ones who are members of—”

Twoar!

The three of them looked at the hospital courtyard. Dust and explosive smoke billowed through the air. From there were two shadows of men facing each other, both of their hands ready to attack each other, but they collapsed. But both of them got up again.

Okul sighed looking at Alpha and Ursa.

“You two, please stop them. Then forbid them to practice again. If they also hurt themselves we can get longer here,” he said.

“Ya, yes.. alright. Leave the task of caring for them to us,” reply Kraz feel cocky. Even so, he continued to carry out the orders of his colleague.

...***...

Having little to do except wait for Algol to recover, the rest of his squad had plenty of free time. Alpha and Ursa spend it touring Bode City, accompanied by Diphda and Kraz. As for Okul, he helped the displaced population quite a lot, his great sense of responsibility did not let him ignore them.

In their small tour Alpha and Ursa start from the main street of the city. It was still day, but the main road was not crowded, almost no different from when Ursa passed it that night. This made Ursa wonder.

“When this is the main road, why so quiet?”

“You don't know?”

“I wouldn't ask if I knew, Mr. Kraz,” says Ursa. “Remember that we have always been trapped in one place for seventeen years of our lives,”.

“Remember the settlement we saved?” ask Diphda. Alpha and Ursa nodded. “Remember also that they are the ones who were banished from this city, right?”

“Yes. Because they are mixed humans,” Alpha replied.

“Well, it's because they are a class of humans who are not welcome in this city. While the other two groups, ordinary people and star people, they live in cities but in separate regions,” said Diphda.

“On our right side is the star human settlement area. The left is the territory of an ordinary man. They do not interfere with each other and this main road is the boundary of the separation, so they will not cross this road. That's why this road is deserted.” Kraz added.

“Konynya!” Alpha exclaims. “And they lived together in the same place, but instead acted like enemies.”

“Then, what about security in this city? The military headquarters we visited, all of its members were star humans as I recall. Continue what about security in ordinary human settlements?” Ursa asked.

“I have never entered into an ordinary human settlement, nor do I know much about them, but I heard that they also have their own military headquarters,” Diphda replied.

“With all its members only ordinary humans?” Replace the Alpha who asked.

“Maybe so,” replied Kraz briefly.

“I'm interested in the settlement of ordinary humans. I want to get in there.”

“I also.”

“Hei—”

“It's okay, right? We are here as visitors.” Ursa insisted. He did not want his intention to enter the settlement to fail.

“But it doesn't change the fact that we are warriors and star men. They are separated because they hate each other. Of course we will not get a good welcome there,” asserted Kraz.

Ursa smiled obliquely. “I'm not a star man.”

“I am a mixed human being. And if they don't like me, I don't care,” Alpha said. “If you don't want to come, I don't have a problem. However, if suddenly we have the intention to escape you who will be in trouble.”

“Baik—”

Kraz's words were cut off as a result of an apple being thrown right in his face. He was so shocked he gaped. Ursa who saw the floating red apple did not let it go. He caught it nimbly, then turned to look at a young man who threw an apple earlier.

“Hey, Sir! It's not good to waste food! Especially if to be thrown at someone else!” his jolt.

The man was nervous and misbehaved. Stuttering he replied to Ursa, “Ma-forgive me, gentlemen! Su-really. I-I didn't intentionally! Please forgive me!” said panic.

“Warrior!”

A lower and softer voice sounded. It turned out that the call came from a woman selling flowers across the street. He has a worried face.

“I'm sorry for him! He's not wrong! I'm the one who's wrong, so don't punish him!” said beg.

The four of them looked at each other.

The woman was an ordinary man, even so she was very defensive of the star man whom she should hate given their differences. After a few seconds of digesting them the four bright-faced knew the reason behind the woman's defense.

The woman and the man love each other.

“Why is this your fault, Miss?” ask Diphda.

“It's because..”

“He is innocent! I'm the one who's wrong! Me!” sahut the man. “She just wanted to taste my apple, but I didn't dare give it to her, so I threw it.”

“No, Ferdinand! If only I hadn't forced you to try your apples then you wouldn't have caused them any trouble, so it's my fault. If you want to punish, punish me!” said the woman.

“Margaret..”

Alpha rolled his eyeballs looking at the couple's drama. He grunts amusedly. “Mr and Miss!” yells. “Tenace. We will not punish you. We are not soldiers from this city. We are just visitors, please, stop that excessive worry.”

Both are embarrassed. Then in a soft voice they apologized.

Ursa walked over to the woman named Margaret. “This, Miss Margaret. Apples from your lover, Ferdinand. I'm sure it will be very sweet because it contains her feelings of love,” said Ursa full of temptation.

Margaret accepted it shyly. “Thank you. But Ferdinand and I are not lovers.”

Ursa gawked at that answer. “Eh... but I'm sure you two have feelings for each other.”

“It's just a pseudo feeling. However we will not be together, no matter how much we love, the difference between us will always be an impossible barrier to remove.”

Ferdinand who heard Margaret's expression looked down bitterly. What the girl said was true. Ferdinand could not deny it at all.

“Omong empty!”

But not with Alpha. He loudly voiced his rejection of Margaret's assumption.

“What are you afraid of? Differences of human beings? No kidding! That's just a silly excuse. If you love each other, you should try to keep you together, right? Hey, don't give up just because of it,” continued Alpha.

“You who are not from this city will not understand. The differences between people are no small barrier to us. It was destiny that got in our way,” Ferdinand said lethargicly.

Alpha snorted violently hearing it.

“Mr Ferdinand, did you see myself properly before saying that?”

“What do you mean?”

“I am a mixed human being, which means my father and mother are of different classes, but we live happily, no matter what kind of human class we are. Such a simple thing does not make our lives suffer at all.”

“You are lucky,” said Ferdinand, “where did you come from?”

“Mayall Village!” answer Alpha proudly.

“Ma-mayall? The village of the traitors?!”

Alpha was not surprised by such a reaction. He was not disturbed either. It was even funny.

“As far as you want to consider us what we are like. But in our village there is no difference between human groups. We all coexist with a serene as well as happy.” Alpha confirms.

“Be-really?” margaret asked still unsure.

“True, Miss.” Ursa answered him with a gentle warm smile. “Maybe everyone who left their village or city and chose to live in our village you call as traitors, but they actually live happily with us in Mayall Village. All the problems they face, including the social views of what people they are, all mean nothing to us.”

“Sounds interesting and promising. But your village is destroyed, right? Mayall Village no longer exists.”

“That's not true!” sergeant Alpha. “Although our village is destroyed, it does not mean we have lost. To this day we are still fighting. We will regroup the villagers and build our village again. I'm sure, in the process there will be additional people who want to join us, if you want you can be a part of us.”

“Thus you will not have to worry about the difference between the two of you. You can live happily as you like,” added Ursa.

But the good things that Alpha and Ursa said didn't make them change their gloomy faces.

“Stay just ordinary people and star people will be difficult together,” said Margaret sadly.

The Alpha who understood the meaning of the woman approached him. “What do you mean about their descent?”

Margaret nodded. “Child born of us may be disabled or dead.”

“No need to worry. In our village the chance of a baby from a star human and an ordinary human being being being able to be born alive is seventy percent. And the likelihood of them being healthy without disability is eighty-three percent,” Ursa said.

“Be-really?!” Margaret was excited to hear the news.

“Yes. But with the condition of having to routinely take drugs to support this success. Our village doctors have done the research and they succeeded. Not a hundred percent indeed, but that figure is already much better than the general number which is only 50 :50 with still bear the risk of disability,” explained Ursa.

“It is a concern from our village which wants to prosper its population. Now you both know that our village is not as bad as the rumors you heard. We offer you to join our village, but the decision is in your hands,” said Alpha.

“We didn't force you. Think carefully!” exclamation Ursa.

The four of them then left.

Margaret and Ferdinand looked at each other. They were still hesitant and seemed uncertain, but in their eyes there was now a hope of being together.
