Warrior Terminator
The Battle of Darkotry

The sky grew thick, the stars began to appear, the moon that was not full day before hung covered with clouds. The night has come. The eight of them decided to rest under a shady tree with a small bonfire.

Zibal explained the meaning of his earlier words, as to what he meant about the growing battle flow. Zibal admitted it was his hunch that spoke. He felt that the battle in that place was not just defending the border.

“What do you mean?” Okul asked impatiently.

“Because if they really want to keep us away from this place then they should be more serious about hunting us down, but it's not done. Though I knew there were first-rate ramplites here, instead of them, it was the lowly ones who hunted us down. That's weird, I thought. Then, last night I heard faintly the sound of a fight inside the Darkotry.” region

“What of warrior Hunter Warrior?!”

Zibal. “I don't think.”

“Then the fight between who with whom?” Kraz asked again.

“Entah. That's what I want to know. The fight within the Darkotry realm is far more concerned by those ramplites than against us. As if we are not a threat.”

“It's clear. Since you can be massacred in two days they must have considered you not as a threat,” Alpha said.

“You're wrong, Alpha.” Algol. “It is precisely because everyone can be slaughtered on the second day, but not with them, they should instead be a threat. Not the other way around.”

“Hahaha. It's okay, Mr. Algol. What your subordinates say is true. We are not considered a threat because we are weak,” Zibal said.

No one knew what Zibal had to say, as a result everyone fell silent, and it caused an awkward atmosphere to appear. Silence locked their mouths. Only the sounds of the night were present to comfort them. Friction of the hands sometimes take add to the sounds when the cold can no longer be overcome only with the heat of the fire is getting smaller.

But the silence did not drag on, suddenly they all heard a sound from within the Darkotry realm, neither loud nor clear, but they were sure it was an explosive sound. The more they sharpen their ears and widen their eyes made sure that there is a fight in there. Little and faint, but they saw beams of light among the dead trees.

“I'll check there.” Pollux stood up and spoke suddenly.

“Do not, danger!”

“For you guys maybe yes, but not for me.”

“Even if you are strong, it is still dangerous to go there alone!”

Pollux stared directly into Zibal's eyes sharply. “Then will you go with me? Although I will not guarantee your safety.”

“Hei!” Kraz exclaims to rebuke, but Algol stops him. The man also complied. “I don't like that pretentious attitude. Especially against his own captain,” gerutu dongkol.

“I'm in charge of my men. You can't leave if I don't allow you.”

“I'm not your subordinate!” Pollux jerking. “If only I didn't—” Pollux cut the talk himself. “I will still go there.”

The young man hurried to leave them. He ran fast with a minimal sound towards the Darkotry region not far from where they were. Seeing him made Zibal let out a long sigh.

“Basic boy,” murmured. He looked at Algol. “I have no choice but to follow him. What about you guys?”

“We are here as reinforcements, if we do not help you then what is the use of our existence.”

“As Pollux said, if we get into the Darkotry region then no one guarantees each other's safety. Put that in your head and don't blame anyone for what will happen later,” said Zibal cuek.

“No problem,” Reply Algol.

“Captain,” Okul face less happy, “what's okay?”

“Quiet, Okul. The only ones who will endure this are me and Mr. Zibalistic. Ah, but if you don't want to go you can stay here.”

“Haha! Where could we not go, right?” Alpha relaxes his fingers.

“Good. Come!”

With the cue they immediately followed Pollux who was only a few steps away into the Darkotry region. Luckily they were able to catch up with the young man so they stayed together. Diphda and Kraz made balls of light that gave them illumination.

“Hanya..” Alpha covered his nose as he continued to gallop following Pollux who was leading the way. The young man looked to his right. He muttered, “Sama as described in the book,” he said commenting on the region.

Darkotry, the territory controlled by the ramplite, the place where they lived, was a truly uncomfortable place to enter. The region consists of dead forests, where the tree grows with a black trunk, with no leaves or fruit, only branches and twigs and roots poking out the ground. No grass or even moss grows in the region. The aroma of the place was no less nauseating, like the smell of carrion and the rancor of rotting blood. Being there for a long time then the stomach will be disturbed.

If you go there should bring a fragrance that can help repel the gripping smell, but they do not have it so inevitably have to hold it even though the stomach is nauseous. Some of them do not stop repeatedly to vomit the stomach contents.

Pollux who was at the very front was stunned as his eyes caught a glimmer of light from behind the tree. The sound of steps and attacking movements from the fight ahead was becoming clearer. The young man accelerated his run.

“Now!” shouted a dark brown-haired man. He was pulling a mine there tied to a ramplite, the ramplite was hanging upside down on the branch of a tree, he was thrashing. “Shoot directly on his chest!” his orders.

A yellow light shot rapidly towards the chest of the ramplite. However, in the last moments he was able to break free. The ramplite fell to the ground with a loud noise. It was as if it did not feel the slightest pain of the ramplite rising up and then sprinting at the star man who attacked it. He hit him with a super hard kick from his leg wrapped in hard scales. The man bounced. He was caught by his partner before hitting a tree.

“Breaklah. I will fight him,” said the brunette.

“U-ugh.. thank you.”

The brunettes ran towards the ramplite with two daggers in his hand. He duels with the ramplite. His hands were vigorously eyeing the vital points of his opponent, unfortunately the ramplite always raised thick scales where the young man thrust his dagger, making all the attacks from the young man futile.

Sraaac!

The young man was dragged backwards due to a kick on him. He flicked his arm in pain from holding the kick directed at his chest. His eyes carefully observed the movements of his enemy who was swiftly ambushing. This time the young man chose to avoid it without even trying to launch a counterattack. Actually he was observing his opponent's body up close to find his weak point.

‘He's a low-level group one ramplite. Judging from his scales he was created from an anteater. The scales are very hard. My dagger can't hurt him.’

Shuuut.

A hand hit was launched from the side, intending to target the young man's neck, but the man could dodge by rewinding his head. The young man tightly gripped the arm that was close to him using both hands. Then, with all his might he pulled the ramplite and slammed it. Then he kicked it with all his might until the ramplite slammed into the tree.

Not immediately satisfied, the young man ran quickly over, he bombarded the ramplite with his dagger attack. The attack was not effective because the body of the ramplite covered with thick scales. Instead, the ramplite used their close range to strangle the young man. The ramplite lifted the young man up.

“Khe... aargh..!”

“Hahaha! Feel it! You think you can fight me, huh?! Though itself only ordinary humans lowly! Well, now leave that thing to me!”

The ramplite used his other hand to grab the small pouch that the young man had made into a necklace. However, before the scaly hand was able to get it the young man quickly thrust one of his daggers into the hand that was suffocating him. It's succeeding. Blood dripped from his prick. The ramplite released its grip and pain.

“Fuck you!”

The young man took a step back. “Your body is indeed protected by scales, but that does not mean it does not have weaknesses. The scales had a gap beneath them. I just need to target that gap.”

“Try it!”

The ramplite pulled out the axe stored on his waist. He attacked the young man with his axe. Even though his weapon lost big the young man did not seem overwhelmed. Her skill is playing dagger topnotch. While fending off the axe intended to read off his body the young man launched punches from below to injure his opponent. And he succeeded. He was able to land several punctures that approached the vital parts of his opponent's body. His dagger is now drained of the blood of his enemy.

“Haa.. haa... haa.”.

“What's up? Do your scales weigh on your breath, Mr Ramplite? Your movement is also getting slower know.”

“I'll show you my speed then.”

The ramplite grew scales all over his body. It also raises the tail. The ramplite suddenly wrapped around his body. It turned into a large scaly ball. He quickly turned towards the young man. The young man managed to escape. The ramplite did not stop, it continued to spin rapidly and roll towards its opponent. No matter if he hit a tree or stone, even the one he hit was destroyed, his body was not injured because the scales were so hard that it was able to protect him.

“If I get hit by the attack my bones can be broken immediately.”

The young man went up into the tree. He reached into the bag of weapons that were on his waist. He then threw explosive balls. But that effort failed. Let alone open, the ball of scales was not scratched in the slightest. The young man snorted in annoyance. He took out the mine, formed it into***, then cast it on the ramplite. Many times the pangolin-shaped ramplite managed to escape his capture, but after a dozen attempts the young man finally managed to catch it.

The young man jumped down from the tree. He twirled the ramplite he caught swiping the ground. The marks from the round formed a circle of gutters as deep as half a meter. The young man threw the ramplite on the rock. He hit it many times like a yo-yo. The stone is cracked. Blood splashed. Thanks to the slippery blood the rope bond becomes saggy and the ramplite is released.

Coincidentally the ramplite landed near the young man's companion. Not wasting a chance he approached the unprepared man and caught him.

“Le-let me go!” screamed the man while rebelling. Using his remaining strength he kicked and beat the ramplite.

Ramplite did not break the man's fight. He stretched the shoulders and head of the man he had arrested. His mouth was wide open, preparing to gulp the blood of the star man.

“Sial! I won't be able to!” The young man growled furiously. He took a swing to throw his dagger.

Clangs.

The dagger fell as a result of being fended off by the ramplite. The mouth is getting closer to the shoulders of the prey. His mouth is getting wider. His teeth began to touch the star man's skin.

“I won't let you turn perfect!” the young man shouted while throwing his other dagger. ‘I hope it still has time,’ her mind full of hope.

“Ja-no! Stop!”

‘Finally I'll be perfect—’

A slash!

The slash of light stopped the action of the ramplite. However, the ramplite did not release its prey. He brought the star man to jump backwards.

Pollux is upset that his attack failed.

“Delta Velorum : Alpha Beam!”

Swoooshes!

A laser-like beam of light shot rapidly to the ramplite. The Ramplite was not ready because it was still too surprised by the sudden attacks. The shot hit him right in the head, killing him instantly. The detained man was shocked by the attack right beside him. His eyes widened in shock knowing his head was not crushed.

The brunettes looked at the eight people who arrived there with widened eyes in disbelief. But his eyes were focused only on the two of them. With a voice resembling a scream he uttered, “Alpha! Ursa!”

Feeling their names being called, Alpha and Ursa turned to the source of the voice. With no less shouting from the young man the two called out together. “Gage!”
