Alpha patted the head of the horse he was about to ride. That horse is a good horse. He was relieved to know that because not only himself, his horse would also transport goods that were not small.
“We will go in the mission of defending the border area, right, is it really necessary to bring a lot of stuff like this?”
“Of course!” Diphda answered quickly. “Maintaining the border between Padgontry and Darkotry is not easy, as long as you know. The battle will probably last for days. Not to mention we still have to refresh the battle area from the ramplite corpse so that the place does not turn into Darkotry.” territory
“Gather!” yelled Algol gave instructions. They swarmed the captain. “Journey to the place we are headed is not far, only about two days less. During that time we must not stop the journey except for the night break because our arrival is very much awaited. Understand?”
“Ya!”
Algol stared intently at Alpha and Ursa. “Especially for you two. I do not want you to stop the trip because you want to help out who is in trouble in the middle of the road later.”
“Good!” answer them in unison.
“Soldier units sent for the mission are as many as a hundred people, the battle has only been running for a while and they have asked to send help, I have a hunch that this will be a big battle.”
“Are the enemies located in the border area usually strong?” ask Ursa.
“Not really. Depends on the area.”
The young man from the ordinary people looked at the map called Algol on a wooden box. “Battle this time here, right? In the region of Darkotry bordering three cities at once—Milky Way, Andromeda, and Hoag.”
“It's a strong region. Long ago, the area never collapsed. The enemies there are very persistent,” said Okul.
“Ho... it even makes me look forward to it,” muttered Alpha with a burst of confidence.

The sound of night animals accompanied two men perched on the highest tree branch in a tenuous forest that was neither too beautiful nor too quiet. How not, under them a lot of corpses scattered, while the ramplites were in confusion looking for their prey who apparently rested themselves on the tree after a full day of fighting.
A man with his neck splashed with a bandage yawned wide. His eyes were sleepy, and he felt like he could sleep at any time if he was closed for more than three seconds. The man named Zibal Eridanus then shook his head violently, hoping that his sleepiness would disappear.
The problem is, sleeping in such a precarious state at that time is very dangerous. Ramplite can attack at any time if he is off guard. Luckily they hid in the branches of the dense tree that covered their bodies.
Zibal decides to start a conversation with a man half his age, an athletic man with red hair. “You're not sleepy?”
“Not really.”
“Great..” praise Zibal tends to pleasantries. “How are you doing, are you okay or are you resigned to this battle? This is your first time, right.”
“This is nothing. After all, it made no difference whether this was my first time on an official mission or not. Fighting them is too easy for me,” replied the man was a big head.
“I've heard that you're great, but you better not be so arrogant. I hate people who are too confident in their abilities. Such a person end-to-end—” Zibal stopped talking because he saw the young man standing up. “Oi, where are you going?”
“Ending those imperfect creatures.”
“Now?”
“They just found out where we are. If you wait later they will come to ambush us,” the answer is cold.
Zibal breathed a tired sigh. He swung his hand. “Do as you please. I'm just gonna go to bed. Ah, when you're down there, make sure no ramplite rises here.”
Zibal heard the young man jump down. Not long ago the sound of sword slashes accompanied by ear-slashing screams of pain also adorned the night of the full moon. When the man slightly glanced down he witnessed a flash of red-orange light darting rapidly from one place to another.
“Hm... what's his name—ah, yes, Pollux. I don't hate him personally, it's just his indifference to others that I don't like. In fact, actually he is such a great boy,” muttered Zibal.
Zibal calculated using his fingers. He grinned a little, and then snorted. Once again his mouth evaporated wide until the tip of his eyes dripped water.
“Pollux already solved the problem down there. Soon reinforcements will also come. The best option for now is indeed sleep.”

A slash! A slash!
Zraash!
Jem!
The sounds of the fight accompanied the running of the horses of the squad belonging to Algol. They had not met a single member of the army unit they had to help but the ramplites had attacked abruptly. There was no choice for them but to strike back.
Leaving their horses was too dangerous, as it was not impossible for their mounts to be killed, in the end they chose to fight on horseback. Although not their expertise because they are not cavalry soldiers, they still fight well because their abilities are qualified.
Once it was not as urgent as if they were to fight with two feet on the ground, at least they were not slow. The warhorses of their mounts cannot be underestimated. The animals are very reliable to help the attack, either by ejecting the ramplite or crashing at them.
“Heeeyah!” Alpha slashed at the head of the ramplite that jumped towards him with a single swing of the sword. “Death to you!”
The ramplite that confronted them this time was numerous, almost hundreds. Thankfully they were only a low-level three faction which was easy to kill. The ramplite-ramplite had no obvious physical form. They are a combination of disgusting and creepy.
Just look, their greenish-brown skin is fluttering with small round bumps resembling warts all over its surface except for the face, their eyes bulging as if about to jump out, with no eyelids, no eyes, their eyelashes and eyebrows, their head without hair, their mouth is giving off some sort of mucus, their hands and feet are webbed. Their voices growled indistinctly, it could not be said that they could speak.
Jem!
Okul thrust his sword into the heart of the creature and pulled it fast. After being released he used his sword again to slap the chest of the ramplite that ganged at him. Some could still stand up and try to attack. Okul then kicked him hard.
“They seem to be created from frogs, humans, and a little light power, hence their appearance is this bad,” he murmured. He looked at the mucus dripping from the ramplite's mouth. “Joroknya. I suspect that slime makes the soil slippery. Fortunately we fought on horseback.”
A slash! Zraash!
“Don't daydream, Vice Captain Okul! Enemies are many!” Ursa reprimands after rescuing Okul from the ramplite that jumps towards her.
“Thank you.”
They also continued fighting. Each of them fought at a distance. Piles of ramplite bodies were scattered around, making the movement of the horses difficult, but it signified that they had wiped out many enemies.
None of them used the power of light. All fought only by relying on swords or also martial abilities. They thought that if there was no need to finish off lowly enemies with the power of light, it would be a waste of their light power.
Slaaaash!
“Completed already!” he exclaimed after finding no more ramplite standing around him. He checked his comrades and they were also finishing their final attack. “Victory of Algol team has been confirmed!” loud shouting.
Alpha yelled back at him from where he was. He who intended to approach his teammates was interrupted by Algol's orders. Their captain ordered that they all refresh the area around them with the light powder they were carrying.
So when after the post-battle task was carried out they pulled over to a more spacious place. They got off the horses and decided to rest before returning to continue the journey.
“By the way, Captain, this should be our meeting point with the soldiers who are here, but they are not there,” said Diphda.
“It's nothing new if we don't meet them where they should be. Likely, they have been urged to retreat from this place,” Algol replied.
“Until how far?” ask Ursa.
Algol looked towards eight o'clock. His eyes were predicting. His tears seemed to dislike whatever his head was thinking. “Faraway, I suspect, they retreated until they reached Hoag City.” area
“So far?!”
“Possible.” only Algol. “And it's based on two things. Between them really desperate or they plan it because it belongs to their strategy.”
“Whatever I hope is the second option. Because if the reason they moved so far is because of the first reason, then it means we have to fight a strong enemy,” said Kraz.
“It's okay, Mr. Kraz. It could be a good experience,” Alpha said. “That's right, Captain?”
Algol laughed crisply at the enthusiasm Alpha had. Half amused actually, because the young man was too naive and considered all the fights as a stage to show his teeth without worrying about bad things that might happen. In fact, they had experienced it themselves against Enceladus.
“Not really. Fighting in the border area is always unpredictable. We don't know what we're going to face. Compared to fighting a certain super strong, fighting an unknown enemy is much more nerve-wracking and troublesome,” replied Algol.
Alpha does not respond to that answer.
Algol stood up while stretching his hands upwards. “Alright! Get back on your horses! We will continue our journey!”
“Yaaa!”
From where they needed at least a few hours to reach the border of Hoag City. They ride fast. Algol ordered it. The man was quite worried about the current state of affairs. He was worried that their situation had been long-awaited, so they had to hurry.
In the afternoon, they had approached the area near the border of Hoag City. Unfortunately, they get a disturbance. A ramplite, judging by his appearance and his challenge to fight against them, the creature had reached the upper second tier.
“Let me alone,” said Algol who was preparing to get off his horse, unfortunately he undoed the intention a second later as someone darted quickly from within the forest and slashed the ramplite into two pieces. A young man stood up. “Who are you?”
The young man looked quickly. He observed the six of them very closely. It was as if he was measuring their eligibility to be in that place.
Taps.
Someone else landed from a tree. He was not yet aware of the presence of Algol and his team, because instead of greeting them the man ruffled the young man's hair while praising him.
“Hahaha! Nice, nice! As expected of Pollux. You can beat him in one hit.”
Algol got off the horse and approached. “Sore, Sir.”
The man looked. His eyes widened in shock, in the sense of being displeased. “What the fuck? Are you the reinforcements sent? Only six people?! Military headquarters must be kidding!”
“I'm sorry if my arrival and my team didn't live up to your expectations, sir. But this is an order from Sir Puppis.”
Zibal was disappointed. “Good. Tell me what your name is.”
“Algol Perseus. The chairman of this special small team.”
“Oh?! Does that mean you're a Hunter Warrior?”
“Not. Just an ordinary soldier with a very ordinary task.”
Zibal was disappointed again. “Ya done it then. I'm the captain, Zibal Eridanus. And this,” Zibal pulls Pollux closer, “member of my unit, Pollux. Ah, your name is Pollux Gemini, right?”
“My name is only Pollux,” Pollux said as he brushed off Zibal's hand perched on his shoulder.
“Pollux is also part of the Gemini.” family
“But I'm not. I don't have any family. And my name is just Pollux.” The young man confirmed in a final tone.
“Well then..” said Zibal. “I have a request. Don't call me sir, the impression is old and classy, I'm not that kind of person.”
“If that's what you want, Si—Mr. Zibal,” replied Algol. “Omong by the way where did you build the headquarters for your unit members? It's getting late, we better get to your base.”
“We don't have a headquarters.”
“Eh? Then... how about your unit members?”
“Ah, about them..” Zibal smiled wryly, “they're all dead. Just me and Pollux left for four days.”
Those who heard that were immediately shocked not to play.
“From a hundred people only you two stay?!” Alpha exclaims in disbelief.
“Yes. Besides the one person I sent for help, the other soldier was killed on the second day of the battle,” Zibal replied.
Alpha is still shocked. “What kind of battle is there until the situation changes that quickly?”
“It should be an ordinary battle, but it seems like the groove became big all of a sudden.”
