Alpha takes Algol north of the settlement. Only one of the three soldiers standing guard at that spot was facing the ramplite. He looked overwhelmed due to the unbalanced number of opponents.
Seeing the difficulties faced by the soldier, Algol immediately used his light arm to pull the soldier back. Alpha then acted quickly by attacking the ramplite using his Wind Slash.
“Where are the others? Did they evacuate the population?” ask Algol.
“Me... They're dead, sir! Those ramplites drank their blood!” the answer.
Alpha and Algol immediately observed. Among those low-level two-group ramplites were two different ramplites. They had turned into a group one because of drinking the blood of a star man. The blood that contained the power of light made their bodies like humans in general but with paler skin. The transformed Ramplite will have the power of light like the star man it has been prey to but without losing its original ability.
“Go from here. Help evacuate the population. They have a secret basement, help them head there, after that keep them safe!” Algol's orders.
“Ready, Sir!” answer and then leave.
“Heh. He looks happy because he does not have to fight a strong opponent,” said Alpha. “If I was the opposite.”
Algol did not respond to the monologue. He watches the situation around. There are seven ramplites, two of which have been transformed into group one. Not a tough fight, he thought.
“Alpha, finish this quickly then help others.”
“Oke.”
The two of them ran over with drawn swords. Their opponent is a plant-type ramplite. Their human bodies have the arms of insect-eating plants—venus flytrap. Large, sharp-toothed, and deadly. The bite can be sure to penetrate the bone.
Not wanting to waste the power of his light Alpha and Algol just apply the shield on the arm. They swiftly attacked the ramplites.
But they were a low-level two-tier faction, not so easily defeated. Slash after slash they could avoid without any significant difficulty. Even their attacks can harm Alpha and Algol several times.
Five against two. The five of them exchanged attacks without pause, making Algol and Alpha not free to retaliate because they have to protect themselves as well. Even Alpha's head would have been bitten if Algol had not slashed the arms of the rampite's insect-eating plant until it broke off.
“Thank you, Captain!” he said he avoided the attack.
“Do not let your guard down!” reply Algol while completing the final attack for the ramplite he hurt. He thrust his sword into his heart and whipped it out violently quickly. Blood squirt. “Die also you.”
“Ck!” Alpha's clucking pissed 'cause they haven't killed a single one yet. “Delta Velorum : Light Burst!”
A dazzling bright light enveloped the place. The shocking thing was able to make the remaining four ramplites freeze in place. The occasion was best used by Alpha and Algol.
With a light-plated sword that jagged Alpha slashed at the two nearby ramplites, right at their vital point. The screams of pain were heard by them. The merciless Alpha adds an attack on them leaving both dead.
Algol played in a neater way. The power of his light he forms into a very pointed spear. With accurate accuracy he directly thrust his spear into the heart of his opponent. Simple but deadly. The two ramplites died instantly.
They were facing two transformed ramplites. The two ramplites were already in a position ready to fight. They're facing each other.
“A real fight just started, Alpha.”
“Ya.”

Ursa took down a grandmother she carried carefully. “You're safe, Grandma. Go into the basement and take refuge with other residents.”
“Thank you very much, Nak.”
After the grandmother was assisted by the soldiers on guard managed to enter the basement of Ursa immediately left the place. He still had to find the remaining inhabitants. Since they were all mixed humans then they would definitely be targeted by the ramplites, whereas not all of them could fight or defend themselves.
Ursa stopped running suddenly. In an alley he saw two soldiers fighting to protect some villagers. He came and approached.
“I will secure the residents! You guys keep them here!”
“Must be! They are too strong for us!”
“Call help! We need help fighting them!”
Hearing the screams and seeing the bodies tremble the two soldiers upset Ursa. It seemed like all the soldiers sent to the settlement were only people who were not very strong. He bet that they had never been involved in an actual battle.
“You soldiers, right?! Don't tremble! Don't expect help! Face the enemy before you!” shouted firmly.
“Mu-usahil! We can't beat them!” said the soldier hiding behind his light dome. A ramplite with a strong arm was lashing out at the dome nonstop. “Me-they are too strong for us!”
“Quick call for help or we will die!” another shouted, who was holding two ramplites in confinement. But his confinement slowly cracked due to the attacks given from within.
Ursa looked back, at the residents. They were only four people, it seemed like a family. The four of them were crying in silence and shivering in fear. After hearing the despair of the soldiers, their fear grew even greater.
“I'll be back after bringing residents to safety. You two hang on!” shout Ursa. He approached the small family. “Let's take you somewhere safe. Don't be afraid, you'll be safe,” he said soothingly.
“A-is it really going to be all right? The ramplite looks very strong.”
“Take it easy, Mistress. I'm powerful. I'll protect you. Let's get out of here soon,” said Ursa. They finally agreed. “Are you all able to run?”
The smallest boy nodded weakly.
“My sister's foot sprained,” her brother said.
Ursa smiled gently. “Good.” He crouches. “Get on to my back. I'll carry you. Fast.”
After the child managed to climb onto his back and hold on tightly Ursa immediately ran leading the way. He was looking for a safe way. By chance they meet a woman holding her baby. Ursa asked him to go together.
Sraaac!
“Ba-how is this?! We're going to ma-dead?”
“Dad! Mama! I don't want to die! I don't want to die!”
“Te-relax. We're with the soldiers. We are safe.”
“Oeeek! Oeeeeeeek! Oeeeeek!”
Ursa looked back with a sincere wide smile. “You stay calm. I'll beat him and we'll be right to safety.” Ursa lowered the child she was carrying. “Dragon dia.”
“Ba-baik.”
Ursa stared intently at the plant-type ramplite before her. The ramplite had dark green hair that resembled plant tendrils. The tendrils also appeared to be alive.
“I will finish you off quickly,” he said then lunged forward at high speed.
Zruy! Zruy!
The tendrils of the ramplite are elongated. He tried to block Ursa from approaching while attacking her. Ursa jumped to the right and left several times. With his sword he cut the tendrils that tried to entrap him.
Ursa ran zig-zagged, so the speed of the tendrils chasing her was slightly inhibited. But the ramplite didn't lose his mind. He combined his tendrils, formed them into a sledgehammer, then with all his might smashed them at Ursa. Of course Ursa could avoid it.
“Thinking that the tendrils are her hair disgusts me.”
“What did you say?! You insulted me! Unforgivable!”
“Oho? Apparently you're easily offended, huh?”
Bam!
Godam was struck at Ursa quickly. The young man dodged backwards nimbly. He raised his sword. With his capable ability he jumped and split the godam made of tendrils earlier with just one attack.
Ursa landed on her tendril. Without wasting any time he ran quickly towards the body of the ramplite. But the rampage did not allow it. From the tendril unit that was used as a foothold by Ursa grew small tendrils that tried to snare the young man's legs. But Ursa realized it quickly. He can avoid it easily. Ursa was getting closer to the body of the ramplite.
“Damn..!”.
The ramplite had removed the strand of the vine. Ursa's footing is gone. The tendrils were then converted into separate, and with that he made a round cage that imprisoned Ursa. Because it was too fast and shocking Ursa was trapped inside.
“Hahaha...! Die...! Die!”
The confinement of the tendrils is getting docked and smaller.
“Oh, so with this you will crush me, huh? Too bad... I turned it down!”
With the narrow space left in the cage, Ursa was still able to move her sword. He slashed many times into the confinement wall. Then... crash! The confinement of the plant was crushed into pieces. Ursa slid out fast. With a sharp stab he pierced through the heart of his opponent decorated with a triumphant grin.
“You lost,” whispered right in the ears of the ramplite who looked at him in disbelief. The ramp was down. Ursa then looked back. “Come, we proceed to safe place!”
“Ya!”
“You're great, soldier!” the boy she was carrying.
“Of course. Because I'm a soldier,” reply Ursa.

Slaaash!
“Gwaaah!”
“Arrrgh!”
Jem! Jem! Jem!
Luxco smiled obliquely. He's satisfied. With a swing of his light-lined chain he instantly injured many ramplites at once, then coupled with the light spears he threw he killed them all.
“You guys are really wrong to have fought me in disorder. Because I would rather slaughter than fight one on one with all of you.”
Hearing that the ramplites surrounding him slowly retreated. They gulped in fear. Their number is tens. And not that they are weak. Luxco is too strong for them.
“Twenty-two... I'll kill you all at once.”
Luxco pointed both of his hands forward. From there came a bright yellow light. The glow formed a giant arrow of twenty-two pieces. Luxco then sent the arrows to his enemies. The speed is high and can be winding easily.
Luxco observed the ramplite trying to escape with a flat face. “Just avoid it. I've targeted you as my arrow destination. As soon as the arrow hits you..”.
Duars! Duars! Duars!
“...burst and your body is smashed to pieces.”
Twenty-two consecutive explosions were heard alternately. The screams of pain and the ramplite-capable screams were simply swallowed up by the sound of an explosion that was too loud.
Luxco then turned to the back. He stared intently at the shadow of a house. He knew someone was hiding there while observing from earlier.
“Come. I know you're there.”
