“In your opinion, Ursa, would we just be left alone if friends knew we were the ones to reveal their characteristics?”
“We have no other choice, right?”
“Iya, anyway.. but still it is..” Alpha is silent for a moment. He shuffled his hair in frustration. “I feel I have sold our friend. Because of us they can be found easily.”
Ursa breathed a tired sigh. “It's too late if you regret it now. Even so, it's okay, I'm sure they are strong people who won't let themselves be arrested.”
...***...
Arta gasped, her breathing heavy. ‘Oh, shit! My body..’
“It seems that he has started to run out of energy due to using attack spells. Now it will be easier,” said Arcturus as he walked closer.
Arta looks up. “One. Stick up. Exploded,” he said softly.
Arcturus was blown away by an explosion right in his body. He did not have time to avoid it as Arta's light bubbles quickly stuck to his back. Her clothes only left the front.
“I've run out of energy, but..” Arta tried to get up on her feet, “but..who decided this would be easy for you?”
“Damn you!” caci Arcturus.
“Heh.”
“You are different from him. Compared to him you deserve to be our prisoner. You may be more useful.”
Arta's forehead was wrinkled deep. “What are you talking about?”
“Friends. A mixed-colored young man, he and someone else were our captives for five years. I played around with him not long ago and he was battered.”
Arta's eyes widened in shock. “It is fitting that I have never heard of Alpha and Ursa, so..” he muttered.
“Oi, you! Tell us about your village attack!” sue Regulus.
“It's none of your business or Earth Country. And, you better also stop blocking us.”
“That's our business,” says Spica. “One of the people from your village has business with our target, the one who is endangering this country, why can it be so?”
Arta put her shoulder down. “Entah. Where do I know. Coincidence?”
“It wasn't a coincidence at all. Some of the cases we found have links to your village, either directly or indirectly. The information we got from the ramplite says that one of the amazing celestial bodies was in Mayall Village and it managed to live as a star man. Who is he?”
Arta looked at Arcturus confusedly, not understanding the words of the young soldier at all. “What amazing sky thing are you talking about? Why is it in our village? Doesn't make sense.”
“Sky objects.. You certainly know it is the origin of a star-born man.”
Arta nodded.
“Normally a celestial body has only one power of light, but a celestial object that fell many years ago has more than one light, even dozens or even dozens, no one knows exactly. We got info that one of them lives as a star man in your village.”
Pyxis who looked at them from the top of the tree straightened his back. It was an interesting story, he thought. He wanted to know more about the story.
Arta grunts amusedly. Not long after that he laughed. “You believe what ramplite says? Sure you guys weren't fooled, ha?”
“Jawab only our question!” insist Regulus.
“I don't even know what you guys are talking about,” scorned him. However, another in the head, Arta was really thinking about what she had just heard.
“Ah, okay. Maybe your friends who are with us know about it. We will just ask them,” said Arcturus.
“Free. Alpha and Ursa are not easy people to buy. They won't say anything.” Arta retaliated.
“Oh, yes? But it doesn't seem like it. As I recall the two of them were close to the squads guarding them, already looking like their own comrades. When they met one of the villagers of—ah, Luxco if not wrong, they both did not run away with him but helped the soldiers protect the residents of Bode City. They have been together for five years and they have been treated well. Don't you think they could have betrayed you?”
Hearing that made Arta waver. Hands clenched.
Arta suddenly remembered when they were announced as Guardian candidates. At that time they made a pledge of allegiance to the village and a pledge as a Guardian. Alpha says it the loudest. Ursa also shed her tears. There was no way they would betray, he thought with full confidence.
“Try asking them, then. I'll bet they won't say anything that could harm our village,” challenge Arta.
“They will probably say it if we use you as a tool,” reply Arcturus threatened.
Regulus and Spica ran with unsheathed weapons. Arta did not let them get close. It sent bubbles of light and blew them up. Danger if he can be reached by them, his physical current is not possible to be invited to move nimble, which is even he who will be caught.
The energy was a little, but Arta could still use it. He risked it on the final attack.
“Everything. Unite. Lightning and lightning!” yells.
Blaars! Blaars! Blaars!
Lightning to blind the view, while lightning to electrocute. The relentless massive attack left all three in a fuss. They dodge and continue to avoid until they do not realize that Arta has fled the battle along with Pyxis who followed him.
“Feeling lost until need to run, eh?”
“From the beginning I didn't plan on beating them alone. That's too reckless. Maybe I can if I put all my abilities into action, but my life is a threat.”
“But, Arta...this is a different direction from where we are headed,” Pyxis said.
“I'm going to the Milky Way, most likely Alpha and Ursa are there. Something I want to make sure of them.”
Pyxis glanced at him with a curious face. He wanted to know the truth of the story. “What did they say about that amazing celestial thing earlier was true? If so, then the star man living in your village must have the power of light of more than one kind. Such a person is certainly very striking and easy to recognize.”
“Entahlah. I don't know either.”
“Eh?”
“I was not born and raised in that village. I'm just a newcomer.”
Pyxis nodded in understanding. It must be because that is what made Arta decide to meet her friends in the Milky Way.
Meanwhile, back at the place where the members of the Spring Triangle were still struggling with Arta's lightning and lightning, they were still not finished with the attack Arta had left behind. They were still jumping, on fire, running away from the lightning that was striking their bodies.
“There is no end! We must stop this attack!”
“Strike core! Maybe with that it will be!”
Regulus understood. He exclaimed, “Alpha Leonis : Lion Devour!”
The light attack that Regulus unleashed was a blue light shot in the shape of a giant lion's head. It instantly opened its mouth wide and swallowed the core of the lightning and lightning attack. The electric ball was inside the mouth of the lion's head, slowly its lightning began to vanish, leaving behind a gurgling electric spark.
Not long after that a great explosion occurred stunningly. The explosion was blue with white flashes. An explosion that is deadly when it hits someone, but beautiful to look at.
Arcturus looked around. With indignation he said, “They escaped.”
“At least we get data about it,” said Regulus.
“We must return to the headquarters and inform Sir Puppis that the special star man is a resident of Mayall Village. We have to hurry.”
“Yes. Most likely the young man was also going to go see his friends. When we are lucky and meet him again we will really catch him.” Arcturus.
...***...
“Ha... ha.. ha..”.
Pyxis lifts a wet cloth used to cool Arta's body heat. He dipped the cloth in the water and squeezed it, then put it on the young man's forehead again. Arta got a fever after the fight last day and ran for miles until night until finally fell.
Pyxis looked at Arta flat.
“It's not wrong I keep following him. My hunch that I would find what I was looking for could meet through it turned out to be true.”
“Uuugh..” Arta was delirious in her sick sleep.
Pyxis brews its artificial green potion water which it warms with a campfire. The man took Arta half-sitting and drank the medicinal herbs from the plants. Under minimal awareness Arta rejected him, but Pyxis forced him to.
“Come, drink. You can't die just because you're sick. I'm not gonna let you. Because you're going to take me to get what I want,” Pyxis said.
“Uhuk...!” Arta choked while drinking Pyxis-infused water to encourage the medicinal herb to be ingested. He opened his eyes before closing again. “I-mom..”
“I'm not your mother, know.”
Pyxis laid him down again. He corrected his green robe to cover Arta's frail body.
“Bring them back, Pyxis.”
“Sure. I'll definitely bring them all back. That's my promise.”
Pyxis remembered his promise again. Years have passed, he has not been close enough to fulfill his promise. Today, he was surprised by something precious. That the amazing celestial object that Arcturus spoke of earlier was likely the thing he was looking for and that celestial object had become the star man he had been expecting all along.
“She was among the people of Mayall Village. Good though. I finally found one of them. I won't let go..” Pyxis glanced at Arta, “..either this boy, nor that special star man.”.
