''What do you think of Nadia, Yusuf?'' Ummi looked at his eldest son. He did not understand what Joseph was saying.

Yusuf glanced at Abah and looked back at the face of the ummi who was looking at him.

He tried to muster all his courage to make his point.

Joseph went back to his room and walked slowly up the stairs with a feeling of unease.

Joseph opened the door of his room, he stared at every detail of the room that always made him comfortable. But now he felt there was no comfort in his room just felt empty. His heart still felt a pain that he had never felt before.

Joseph walked out of the balcony and looked up at the darkness of the star-studded night above him.

He thought that if beauty alone could be hidden because of the darkness of the night, then every good heart was hidden because of the sins they committed, then the task was to eliminate those sins.

Joseph smiled broadly and understood what he should do.
