The Village Girl And the Fox Prince

The Village Girl And the Fox Prince
Chap 78 - Welcoming Heroes.

Before actually leaving the Maggie Kingdom area, Lynx repeatedly looked back. Looking at the state of the majestic building that was almost flat on the ground, his scrolling gaze agitated as if implying he was looking for something.

Sen who had sat on the Roc first and saw that it was still flinching in place, then asked, “What's wrong? We should leave immediately and leave this place. Haven't you been whining about meeting Hazel and your son?”

The one who was reprimanded immediately turned his head, staring at Sen while sighing heavily. “What if you go home alone? I'll catch up as soon as I do something here.”

Hearing the statement, of course Sen was confused. “Don't be crazy, Lynx. Look at the condition of your body, if left untreated you could die. Let's go home and get yourself back. What do you want to do? It's all over.”

Lynx is gambled with the decision to be chosen, but in the end he sticks with what he wants to do. Ignoring Sen's words, Lynx instantly turned his body and ran as fast as lightning.

“Lynx!”

“Aish, you're really—”

“I'm sorry, but it's also important. I'll be right back, you can go and send me one Roc!” sidelines Lynx while running away, she waved her hand briefly without looking back.

Sen clucked, wanting to get angry but couldn't. If Lynx is that persistent, surely what he will do is very important.

“Which way maybe I can leave you in such a condition, you fool!” Although grumbling, Sen still followed Lynx who was far ahead.

Sen did not think, how could Lynx still run that fast when his legs were injured? Not only the legs, some other parts of his body were filled with blue wounds.

“I'm just worried you're out of steam. And the effects of such a huge magic expenditure are causing your body trouble. Do not let you have the same as Jack, Lynx,”, Sen said as he continued to run after his brother who drove further.

Lynx held up her thumb. “I know. But what I'm going to do now is no less important than my body. This is for the sake of history in the future. I don't want misunderstandings to make the innocent continue to be cornered.”

Kening Sen frowned full of question marks. “What misunderstanding is it?”

Because the situation of the Foxion population is still not improving, because their palace has been destroyed not in the form of minions of King Barney, as a result they are still displaced near the fountain of life until the deadline has not been determined.

The impact of the war did not get there, food dropped dramatically, poverty began to spread everywhere. Due to the large number of Foxion's population, some of those who fled to other Kingdoms were also partially restricted.

When faced with poverty, the sadness of reinforcements was thinning. It is feared because of this many bodies are scattered because of the increasing cases of hunger.

The medical team on duty has been overwhelmed, every day even every hour many refugees are repatriated. King Arandelle and Queen Emely are in need of special care, and the injured Prince San is still recovering.

Then the news of Queen Keane's death still leaves a severe trauma for Aluka. The girl was still crying a lot and now became more reserved, difficult to talk to even if it was by Hazel though.

“Hai, Princess Aluka. Do you want a slice of bread?” Ash came to Aluka who was contemplating alone under a tree.

Aluka only glanced briefly at Ash, her facial expression showing no interest in the bread she was carrying.

“I am not hungry,” replied Aluka lethargic, her hand took a wooden branch and then drew something abstractly on the ground.

“This is the last bread. You won't get any more tomorrow. Let's eat before we're all fed a bland soup,” persuaded Ash while continuing to thrust the bread at Aluka.

Aluka shook her head, her body turned to Ash. “I said not hungry. Please leave me alone here.”

This is not the first time Ash tried to approach the girl, but still Aluka can not be ignored. Perhaps not yet, but Ash believes time can help Aluka recover from the trauma.

“Princess Aluka is a good girl. Queen Keane's mother would be sad to see her beloved daughter linger in grief. In his honor, you must first eat this bread. Then keep living happily, then Queen Keane will calmly monitor you up there,” Ash's advice before edging from a sitting position.

Leaving Aluka still unmoved, Ash's attention was seized by a bird assigned to give news, the bird immediately came to him and suddenly landed on his right shoulder.

Like a hologram, the bird immediately emits light that displays the events of the war, in essence there is happy news that must be conveyed to the residents of Foxion. Where at this time King Barney who led the Kingdom of Maggie has been successfully overthrown.

Knowing that victory is at the hands of the Kingdom of Foxion, Ash is happy not to play. She almost screamed, her eyes were teary, and her gaze instantly moved to look at Aluka. I want to tell this good news to the girl.

“Princess Aluka!”

“We succeeded! We win! Prince Lynx managed to kill King Barney,” said Ash with high enthusiasm.

Aluka looked up. “What does that mean Brother Lynx will be back soon?”

“Of course!”

“When?”

Ash thought while rubbing his chin. “There is a possibility today. But judging from the news that has just been received, Prince Lynx with Prince Sen is still there.”

“Then, for now you spread the news of this victory to everyone. Especially to Hazel, she must have been eager to hear this news. Meet him and tell him that Brother Lynx is in good condition,” Aluka said as she stood up.

Staring at Ash's back which started to drift away, Aluka smiled after some time always putting on a cold expression. Seeing Ash's excited expression, slightly treating the plight in the heart, at least among the many sad news that must be received there is still amazing good news that occurs.

Not interested in mingling with others to welcome the news of victory, Aluka still chose to be alone. His smaller body that looks thinner is leaned on a tree branch, his head lowered while playing his barefoot fingers.

“After winning the war, will the conditions here change? I miss the green grass, walking barefoot will not get dirty. I want to breathe fresh air without the fishy smell of stagnant blood or rotting flesh of the victims.” Aluka hugged herself, closing her eyes for a moment before taking a deep breath.

Not only the problem of food or the condition of the residents, the territory of the Foxion Kingdom began to be polluted. Trees began to dry up, and strangely the tears of life that throughout history have never been reported to dry up, have now shrunk.

About ten minutes passed, Aluka was startled by the arrival of the Roc who had already landed. Upon seeing that the Roc was boarded by Lynx, Aluka was immediately aghast with rounded eyes.

Hurriedly Aluka ran over to approach Lynx and the others, her feet almost tripped over the roots of the tree so hurriedly. Seeing that there Hazel and some others came, they were all so excited to welcome the victory of the hero.

Lynx limped off alone after descending the Roc, while Sen carried Atlas — humans who had worked with the Maggie Kingdom. It turns out that something Lynx wants to do is save Atlas and bring him here, either what Lynx's goal or plan is after.

“No! This aroma ... It must smell human!” One of those who came flocking to Lynx turned out to detect the existence of Atlas.

“The old man Prince Sen was carrying must be human. Why did you bring him here? Did you guys forget? We all abide by the rule of not mingling with humans, except for the woman who became Prince Lynx's lover. Humans are dangerous, not to—”

“Do not talk much,” serobot Lynx, make men with tattered clothes silenced instantly. “I will be in charge. So anyone please don't act rashly.”

Lynx's gaze circulated, looking for someone. His hands were raised high, intending to attract the attention of Princess Ren and Ash who happened to be staring straight at him. “Please treat his injuries and make sure he is alive,”.

Princess Ren nodded. He approached Sen to help guide the unconscious Atlas in a sling, the middle-aged man in a state of alarm, his head constantly bleeding fresh blood.

Meanwhile, Lynx's partner begins to shadow. For a moment he held his head which began to throb. When his body almost lost balance, Ash swiftly held Lynx's body from collapsing.

“Prince Lynx is also treated immediately. It could be wretched to keep letting his wound go for a long time, fearing that there was poison spreading in the bloodstream,” Ash suggested, his eyes staring at Lynx after goal.

Ash realizes the condition of Lynx's blackened skin like a burn is very similar to Jack's condition before dying. More than that, in the area of the hands and feet Lynx was filled with wounds that were still wet and fishy smell because blood continuously came out of tear wounds or puncture marks.

But it seems like Lynx doesn't care about it at all, she doesn't worry about her body. Next to his eyes that were without a cover was busy glowing, looking for the whereabouts of someone.

“I'm fine. I just want to meet Hazel and my son. Where are they?” Lynx was slightly on her tiptoes, still not finding Hazel's whereabouts in the crowd.

Ash's view also came looking, but previously he had seen that Hazel had mingled to meet Lynx in droves. Until finally a hand appeared to indicate his whereabouts, those who blocked the view immediately split the crowd.

It turns out that Hazel's body was tucked away by those who were tall. The baby sleeping in her carrier tried to hug Hazel tightly, keeping her from being jerked around with the others.

“Hazel,” call Lynx soft with sparkling eyes, her chest suddenly felt full of overflowing longing. Miraculously, all the unbearable feelings from the wounds that touched his body suddenly disappeared in an instant.

“Thank you.” Hazel said it with her mouth shaking withholding a cry. “You're keeping it, Lynx. You came back safely. I was so happy that it felt like I had a hard time saying any more words,” continued, this time the tears had gone down the cheek and began to fall on the face of the baby who was sleeping and made him blink funny.

Hazel notices the baby squirming, and she quickly shows the fussy baby to Lynx. “This is our son, Lynx. He's a male sex. I managed to give birth to her safely. And he looks a lot like you.”

Lynx moved her legs to get closer to Hazel, her back bent over staring warmly at the baby boy who was starting to open his eyes. As if he wanted to say hello to his biological father, as well as his tiny fingers he chanted, like he wanted to hold Lynx.

“He's handsome. Her eyes are beautiful.” Lynx let her pinky be reached by the baby. “Have you given him a name, Hazel?”

“I plan to wait for you first. I want you to take part in naming our baby,” replied Hazel, the back of her hand she used to wipe the tears that were still pouring out.

Reaffirming her back, Lynx turned to stare at Hazel. His face approached, his lips landing on the woman's forehead to be let out. Then next to his hand he circled on the back of his lover, hugging him tightly from the side.

Lynx's head is also resting on Hazel's head crown. The sweet and warm scenery was witnessed by many eyes. They all do not want to disturb the moment of lovers who had separated long enough.

And Ash, sensitive to the situation, chose to disperse the crowd. I want to make time for them alone. Even if it is not the time to celebrate victory, the situation here is still not stable.

Winning does not mean that all problems are finished. After this, when the healing process has been done evenly and the food begins to stabilize again maybe everything can improve.

“Lynx?” Hazel felt that Lynx's body attached to her was becoming heavier, as if the man was not holding back his weight.

His guess was further strengthened when Lynx's body began to degenerate, while Hazel, whose hands were used to hold the baby, certainly could not directly hold the tall body.

“Lynx?! You why?!” Hazel screamed, instantly drawing a lot of attention from those who had been partially scattered to walk away.

Fortunately Ash who happened to still be in place to monitor, immediately helped Lynx who had fallen to the ground. The man with many wounds on his body seemed to have fainted.

“How is this? What happened to Lynx?” Hazel crouches down, adjusting her height with Ash intending to carry Lynx's body.

“You calm down first. Me and the others will take Lynx to the medical team's tent. They'll check it out. Hopefully nothing bad happens,” Ash replies trying to calm down.
