The Village Girl And the Fox Prince

The Village Girl And the Fox Prince
Chapter 71 - The precarious Situation.

Successfully remove Atlas from the bars using his powerful energy, not forgetting the chain that locks next to Atlas's feet was Lynx cut using his sword. So that now the frail body of the old man is already in his trunk.

The two of them had already walked out of the basement, starting to explore every hallway that would lead them to a room that became the central point of the Maggie Kingdom's security system. As a guide, Atlas so eloquently mentions the directions of the place to go to lead the Lynx.

For hundreds of years locked up in the basement because for them Atlas is no longer useful also considered to have remembered nothing, only because it was implanted with magic so that until now the fragile body remained immortal.

But who would have thought? That all this time Atlas was just pretending. He actually remembers everything. Even a small thing, or about the development to advance the Kingdom of Maggie, or even about the process of making sophisticated tools of design.

It's just Atlas doesn't want to do it anymore. Unwilling to continue serving the Kingdom of Maggie, bowing under King Barney's feet to carry out his orders. Because from the beginning, he never agreed to be on their side. For a reason that could not be denied, forced Atlas to do something crazy to this extent.

“Roof left!” tell Atlas, his wrinkled forefinger leads according to what he says.

“You sure?” Lynx glanced at a glance, his long legs did not stop to run fast. “Since we've only been circling. Turn right, left, but we don't find the end.”

“Do just that. I know all the things that are here. Not because I'm old, you think I'm senile. We are in a room that looks like a labyrinth, it's natural that since we just turn around,” concluded Atlas, making Lynx nod obediently.

Objects attached to the corner of the room to record the incident and send it directly so that it can be seen by King Arandelle, it looks like it will be completed repaired. It could be critical if the location of Lynx's existence could be traced, and in the end his efforts to get to the core room in this Kingdom would be in vain.

Meanwhile...

“Damn it!”

“Basic useless!”

The revelations were aired by King Barney on three demons who had been ordered to kidnap Hazel. They went home empty-handed, not carrying what the King wanted. Surely they will not be allowed to get away with it, punishment may be waiting.

“You think by destroying the Palace they can make me happy? Not at all! All I want is that human. I want her to have her baby here. Butwhat? Small tasks like that you can't do. Basic embarrassing!” King Barney ruffled his waist, his face flushed red from the emotions that had reached the crown.

While the three demons facing him were struggling with their heads lowered in fear. The three of them were in charge of this task, automatically those who would be scolded all out.

“Freely send you back there. I'm sure that man you won't be able to catch. I'll change plans! And of course it is not you who will carry out the plan,” continued King Arandelle, his body turned back to the three.

His head turned without turning back, giving a cruel look at them. “Sending you to hell is the best punishment. Foolish and incompetent demons you don't deserve to live!”

Deg.

The three of them who were still sitting together, suddenly looked up when they heard these words. Their faces showed deep expressions of fear. Their lips trembled, one of them immediately prostrated and followed by another. They begged under the King's feet.

“Throw their heads one by one!” king Barney's toilet, gave orders to the guards who were listening to the chat earlier.

Afterwards, King Barney lifted himself from the room, his steps stomping the floor. He breezed away regardless of their pleas while roaring.  Walking while mumbling alone, cursing at the stupidity of his subordinates that made him ride the apoplexy.

“Nothing went well! Everything's a mess. Plus, the fox demon that was still hiding inside this Palace was still nowhere to be found. Should I step in to solve all these problems?” The frown above his brows made his expression look absolutely terrifying.

***

Lynx and Atlas were already where they were headed. The core room inside the Palace, which was not arbitrary stealth could enter. The room was filled with various kinds of security systems from advanced tools owned by the Maggie Kingdom.

“The door is closed. If I force my way in by damaging it, it will make a rowdy and certainly provoke a lot of attention,” murmured Lynx with a focused look peeked into the room three meters from where he stood.

When the door they were observing opened, Hurried Lynx pulled her body to hide behind the wall. Poked his head slightly, peeking back to find out who came out of the room.

“That guard is on duty,” whispered Atlas told.

Lynx nodded in understanding. “Good. Then it's time!” His long legs took a swing, one of his hands took out a sword. While the other hand he used to support the body of Atlas who was still loyal on his back.

Running as fast as lightning, Lynx approached the stealth dog that had just walked out of the room. The sword in his right hand he flicked towards them before the heads of the two demons turned to him. In just a split second, their heads slipped from his body. The blood spurted slightly soaked part of Lynx's face, the rest spreading to the wall and to the floor.

Before the door of the room closed, Lynx immediately restrained him with the sword he threw into the middle of the door. The blood left on the blade allowed him and Atlas to enter the room. The light sensor does not detect the presence of foreign stealth.

“Ah, it turns out you can think up to there,” said Atlas who previously had a catapult.

Lynx smiled proudly. “Do not underestimate me.”

Returning to pick up the sword, the door of the room instantly closed automatically. Some of the demons that turned out to still be inside, still do not realize the existence of Lynx and Atlas. They were busy dealing with monitor screens and focusing on the electrical wires on the ten-meter-tall robotic skeleton.

“Why did you come back so soon? Have you been..” The words of the dog demon who had not turned his body stopped, probably feeling something strange.

“Wait.” His body began to turn. His eyes rounded when he found Lynx with Atlas who was behind him. “Ka-you?!”

“Hello!” Lynx waved briefly, the sword in her hand she pointed at him. It didn't take long, the veins on the dog's stealth neck he decided to use a sword. Blood flows straight from there.

“There is another Demon ap— that seems to start feeling there is suspicion, then turn to the source of the sound. At first glance, he was immediately treated to the incident that made his eyes glare perfectly.

His co-worker was already sprawled by removing a splash of concentrated red liquid from his neck stem, blood seeping making the white floor turn into a puddle of fishy red smell.

“Ka-you?! How did you get out of the dungeon?!” His gaze immediately highlighted Atlas who was standing trembling beside Lynx's body.

“Let me take care of it. You focus on damaging the systems here,”, Lynx said as he walked closer to the stealth of the dog that had been racing ahead.

Atlas nodded. He began to walk, looking for important buttons that he had to tinker with. Fortunately, the dog demons guarding here were not many. Maybe some are in another room to check and sort the tools that will be used in the war later.

While Lynx, he unceremoniously swung his sword agilely before the dog demon used his magic. One, two, and more than five people who happened to start arriving had Lynx fall using his sword.

“Do not approach! My magic can make you hurt without the need for me to touch you,” threatened him with a slightly nervous voice, a spell that he began to recant without sound immediately Lynx stopped by stabbing his stomach without cue.

“Ugh... Uhuk!” He held onto his wounded stomach, blood started flowing in his mouth. “Damn it! If you were to face off against the fighters in this Kingdom, you would have already died!” he spoke for a moment before his body began to collapse.

But next to his arm was still taking the time to press the button, and a loud siren began to sound shortly after. It seems like the button is pressed for emergencies only.

Lynx who knew the situation had started to run and insist, hurriedly came towards Atlas. Look at what the old man is doing. Lynx does not understand at all the workings of the hundreds of buttons that are being pressed by Atlas. The screens in front of him also showed pictures that he did not understand.

“Gift your hands and put down that sword! Surrender better before we catch you in the most heinous way!” Another voice appeared, followed by the sound of footsteps that began to come into this room.

Lynx turned his head briefly towards the door, about more than ten dog stealth complete with weapons in his hands began to charge towards him. His handsome body he wears as a shield, guarding Atlas from incoming attacks.

“Just do what needs to be done. I will drive them as far as possible. Don't think of me,” whispered Lynx to Atlas, telling him to focus.

Moving nimble, Lynx thought to resist or even fend off the attacks using his sword. But when the dog stealth there began to pull out his weapon, the sound of kongkangan began to fill the eardrum, Lynx's courage slightly shrieked.

The thumping sounds that filled the room made the heart beat faster. Bullet-shaped attacks that come out of a gun with a variety of shapes immediately come out simultaneously.

Surprised, Lynx could not possibly fend off all of the attacks using the sword in his hand. If it moves a little to avoid the attacks ahead there, Lynx knows Atlas standing behind him will be his victim. No matter what happens, Atlas cannot be hurt.

Deadlocked. His brain cannot be used to think at this time. His eyeballs moved quickly, observing all the more bullets darting towards him. Starting to move, maybe this is the end of his life. His eyes closed in an instant, but strangely for more than five seconds he felt nothing.

When his eyes opened to see what was happening, the bullets that were about to hit him earlier now began to fall to the floor. Blocked by a magic hood that had appeared out of nowhere. Lynx was confused, but when she saw the hood she remembered someone.

His head lowered, looking at Jack's pendant whose light was flickering. Like giving a signal. His lips smiled, starting to touch the pendant. His mouth murmured an expression of gratitude while recalling Jack's figure.

The sound of sirens was again heard, accompanied by a flickering red light that filled the entire room. A sign that the room they are walking in is in trouble. Is it possible that Atlas managed to break into the security system of the Maggie Kingdom?

Slowly the lights that become illumination begin to go out, the sound of working machines making sounds that indicate like they are out of battery. Dimming, his voice almost withered. Lynx was already preparing to cheer celebrating success. But when his head turned to look at Atlas, he fell silent without language. Only his lips began to open, looking in shock.

“Atlas?” Lynx called out quietly, her body starting to turn around. Staring at the body of Atlas who lay on his stomach over dozens of buttons, some blood that was out of nowhere had flowed down.

“What's up? What happened?” Lynx panic. Until he forgot that at this time he should not be off guard, behind there the troops who attacked him seemed to laugh.

For a moment, the sound of laughter all came to a halt. Suddenly silent, but Lynx still did not realize the circumstances around. Until finally there was the sound of footsteps that broke the silent atmosphere wrapped in tension. Someone came apparently. He had already entered and was starting to get closer to Lynx.

“What do you expect of him? From the beginning, he was tied to us. Trying to protect her at all costs, we could easily exterminate her. The magic flowing in his body keeps the control of his body in my hands.”

Sound just now...

Lynx wanted to look around to make sure.

But his body had not yet turned around and saw who had just spoken, unfortunately a blunt object floated towards the back of Lynx's neck. So loud, that it makes a loud noise. Making his vision suddenly shaded, a disturbing dizziness was inevitable.

BRUK!

Fall off. Captured. Unconscious.

Those who saw Lynx fall so easily, instantly widened happy smiles. He who made Lynx unconscious immediately let out an evil laugh. Villain has actually intervened.

“Bring him into the torture chamber. I want to play with him for a minute. It would be more exciting if he did it when he realized later. And for the old man, return him to the basement. This time make sure he doesn't run away. There was no chance for him to feign amnesia anymore,” his orders while turning over.

“Good, Your Majesty.”

When the night had come, Hazel was still trying to endure the unbearable pain, helped by Princess Ren who had brought another snake demon to help with this sudden labor. For more than two hours they struggled, doing many ways to get the baby out of Hazel's stomach.

Hazel's entire skin paled, there was no more energy left. Sweat as big as corn seeds never stopped coming out soaking the entire surface of his face. His voice was hoarse, almost used up to shout because it could not stand the tremendous pain.

It is estimated that the baby to be born Hazel prematurely, that is why the delivery process is very difficult. Lack of expertise, tools to be used, and this is Princess Ren's first experience in helping someone to give birth. Plus, the one who was about to give birth now was a human.

Princess Ren exhaled an agitated breath. Swiping sweat on the forehead, then began to rise from the spring. Want to take a break. Aluka, meanwhile, had been sitting on a lotus petal next to Hazel to hold her hand.

“I feel my presence here will only make things worse. I don't understand how to. The concoction I concocted, didn't help Hazel at all. The various kinds of breathing that have been tried to get the baby out have no effect. I'm worried that..”

Princess Ren's words were stifled when she began to realize the atmosphere around her was changing. Precisely the moonlight that illuminated suddenly changed color. No longer white. Except deep orange. When stripping, the moon up there becomes red.

That's weird, what's the sign?

“This is the first time there has been a change of red moon since hundreds of years ago,” muttered Princess Ren, still faithfully looking up to observe the moon that began to change the color of the sky to reddish.

“Princess Ren!”

“Princess Ren!”

Aluka called out, she almost slipped from the top of the lotus petals because she was so surprised. Looking at Hazel who had closed her eyes, a little baby just came out of the gap between her legs. Surprisingly, the baby did not cry.

“She has given birth?!”
