The Village Girl And the Fox Prince

The Village Girl And the Fox Prince
Chapter 28 - The Different Forms.

Trying to think quickly to find a way out of a problem that is already in sight, Hazel only thinks one way. Other than running away as much as he could, there was nothing else he could do.

What kind of escape came to Hazel's mind?

With a flash of lightning, as well as the remaining strength, Hazel stretched out both hands while being slightly knocked down. Successfully touching, even gave a considerable effect on the two men behind his body.

Not getting there, because he did not want to waste time, one precious second Hazel used to step on each foot of men who are still not known what they look like.

Until the ringing sounded loud, then Hazel bent her body to enter the gap between the bodies of the two men who were still complaining of pain. At first glance Hazel saw how the stature of the two men in question threatened before.

One was fat with her belly and the other looked tall with her big body. Each one looks creepy, but it seems Hazel's expectations are too high. Their strength and the focus of the two were very weak. Being fooled for a moment is too bad.

Making the menace who look surprised because Hazel managed to escape immediately rounded his mouth with two eyes that glared perfectly. Before long an ear-splitting curse sounded so loud.

“Stupid basis! Why are you complaining just for being given a little blow by that girl? Weak, useless! Free I pay you guys to do this!” he was angry at his two men.

“Ma-forgive us, Boss.” One of them spoke, looking guilty.

“Don't just apologize, hurry up and chase him! I don't want him to get away with it again this time. Before he's caught, don't expect your lives to calm down. Your head will be his guarantee,” tell him with sarcasm, his face reddened with anger.

“Ba-good, Boss!” exclaim them compact.

Having lost faith, he decides to go after Hazel. It was still unbelievable that the girl could get away with it so easily. There were not five minutes.

“I shouldn't underestimate that damn girl. From the beginning I should have used vile means. No matter once I had to kidnap her forcibly and inhumanely,” muttered on the sidelines of her quick footsteps.

Hazel, however, is still trying to run. His hearing vaguely caught the sound of footsteps and the screams of some people chasing him back there.

No matter how much sweat had washed over the body, all that was in Hazel's brain was to escape from the pursuit of those people. Hazel could not imagine if she could be caught, either disgusting treatment and sadistic what the man would do.

Weary. His breath began to cringe.

But Hazel can't stop. Until Hazel was on a crowded street. The place he had previously passed. Freely shouting for help, Hazel knows people who are busy with their happiness will not bother to take care of other people's problems.

“You think you can escape? This time I'll tie your body, and you'll be sure you won't run anywhere again. So surrender!”

That shrill grudge Hazel ignored. He just focused on running. People passing by the side of the street began to observe, perhaps wondering why there was a girl running around in fear in the middle of a night of happiness.

Deadlocked.

Yes, Hazel who had been focused on running had finally stopped her two legs trembling weakly. Not for giving up and willingly surrendering to them.

But Hazel can't run anywhere anymore. The path in front of him was a wilderness that was impossible for humans to enter. The untouched forest that was definitely filled with ferocious beasts was terrifying at night.

His mind is getting runny. The voices of those who were chasing him came closer. Hazel was given no choice. For the umpteenth time, Hazel had to make a choice that was second to none.

Clenching both hands that were now stuck in front of the chest, as well as two eyes that were closed for a while, Hazel muttered to strengthen her heart that had hesitated.

“I'd rather die being eaten by a savage beast than be caught by those savages!” Yes, Hazel managed to convince herself.

He again ran into the dark forest which was only illuminated by the blue moon above. A beautiful bright blue light permeated the cracks of the lush trees. A little light in the forest.

“Sials. There's no way anymore! Is it possible that the girl was desperate to get into that forest?” One of the two men chasing Hazel asked.

His friend replied, “Do we need to bet our lives come inside just to chase the girl? Oh come on, don't be crazy.”

But suddenly another voice came into their chat, making the two gulp at the same time.

“You think who has the right to decide? Quickly go in and chase him! You guys didn't forget about my threats before, did you? Come in or I'll chop your heads off?”

They looked at me with trembling bodies. Then nodding frantically. With this cornered position, they inevitably had to obey the orders of their master.

“I will also come in. Watching you from behind,” he added while lighting a torch he had previously stolen from an unknown person.

In the dark forest with little illumination, many nocturnal animals were sounding at each other. There are also fireflies with a blend of yellow and green, brightly lit so beautiful.

Hazel was initially not afraid at all when walking through a slippery road and almost slipped several times, also tripped the roots of the tree until the sandal she used broke. He had to walk barefoot.

It is more and more fused with nature that looks terrible at night. I don't know what's inside the bushes that seem to sway suddenly without any wind sweeping through. Hazel's mind came to a guess, launching an excess of fear.

Glug.

It could not be counted the number of times the girl with the chaotic appearance gulped down while dipping to the right and left, making sure that she was safe from the reach of the ferocious beasts that could at any time pounce on her.

“Hey, have you seen the girl's whereabouts?”

Shrinking the cold sweat that had filled her temples and cheeks, Hazel felt her entire body tremble. In a fit of terror, Hazel is forced to rack her brain in search of a way out.

Where to hide?

Was there still time left until they all gave up and left empty-handed?

Or in the end Hazel managed to capture and be taken by force?

Many questions were rolling in the mind of the orange-colored wave-haired girl. The more thought, the more difficult his brain is to use to think positively and rationally.

The wilderness that looks vast, it turns out Hazel feels like the size of a room in her house. How could those people know where he was going?

“Watch carefully. Observe his footprints, just follow and do not get mistaken,” interrupt the messenger on two of his messengers.

It turned out that Hazel was unconscious and unthinkable if her footprints were used as a reference for the men to follow. They are so easy to follow.

“Gosh, I'm so tired. Should I rest while hiding in the bushes? Hopefully they don't know where I am, ” Hazel said as she leaned her back against a large tree covered by tall shrubs.

Not a few minutes away, Hazel felt comfort because she could rest for a while, her heart again beating abnormally when her hearing caught the sound of people chasing her already walking closer to her.

“A-what? There's no way they can know I'm crossing this place,” Hazel murmured inwardly.

Until finally Hazel knew what reason they could find out the place she had passed specifically. At that very moment Hazel cursed herself for unconscious stupidity.

“Her footprints stop here. Is it possible that he's hiding near here?” The fat man with the advanced stomach began to guess.

“Yes, that's for sure. He's near here,” says another.

“Search and check all the bushes that are here!” the order was directed at both of them.

Hazel who heard it immediately closed her eyes firmly, her body leaning more and more behind the tall bushes. If she escapes at this point, Hazel is out of steam.

And so afraid, Hazel was difficult to breathe.

Her tears did not flow, sliding across both of her pale cheeks. The sobs that would break as much as he could hold.

But a few minutes left the tension, unfortunately the goddess of luck did not side with him. Yeah, Hazel knew her whole life was just an inherent misfortune.

“See! Found it! He's here!” the loud scream made the two people there who were still searching immediately move to him in a hurry.

Trying desperately to escape, it turned out that he was caught too. Having no energy to move anymore, Hazel finally resigned herself to what was to come. But in his mind suddenly came up with a name.

Lynx.

In this impossibility, Hazel still hopes that the man will come to her aid.

“Basic of naughty rats, you are indeed troublesome.”

They both helped Hazel stand up. So strong to hold both arms so as not to blur or make a resistance. Hazel's limp body was unable to do anything.

The man who had been after Hazel for a long time, grinned sharply while looking at her. Then touch Hazel's chin while being held high. Looking at full satisfaction.

“From now on, you will be mine completely,” he said slowly but tucked away a burning desire.

“Come take him. Hold her hand firmly. Do not mind if he complains of pain,” his word while walking ahead.

When some of the men began to take Hazel away, intending to leave the untouched forest, suddenly unexpectedly, an attack that came out of nowhere just appeared.

Not through an object or something else, but rather someone who came to use hanging tree roots to fly like a tarzan. Kick their noses one by one until their bodies fall to the dirty ground.

Hazel, who did not know why the people who were carrying her had suddenly fallen, immediately turned her body back. It only took one second Hazel made a surprised expression as she saw who the perpetrator who subverted those people was.

His muscular stout body, formed sexy planes on his chest and sixpack stomach. A real tarzan tub, the man just covered his bottom using a thin cloth that was coiled around his waist.

“Lynx?” call Hazel in disbelief without blinking.

How not to believe, in a night like this the man was not a fox. Besides, there was something else different about him. His two aquamarine and tanzanite-colored eyes had now turned into a dark red that was so striking, it was terrifying.

“Why are you in this forest?” Hazel then asks, wanting to know what really happened to her.
