Moving down the bed, Hazel had already thrown the blanket at the strange man who put on a plain face without feeling embarrassed at all. He rushed to find clothes that he could lend to him.
Hazel shook her head occasionally, casting away the shadows of the scene she had seen by accident a moment ago. It was not his first experience to see such a thing, but still
it feels so ridiculous.
“Huh! I only have three pairs of clothes and two trousers. This also belongs to my father who was accidentally carried away by me. His clothes look small for his size, what if it doesn't fit?” Hazel muttered little by continuing to observe the clothes in her hands.
Then his gaze alternately looked at the face of the man there in a moss-green shirt that was worn in front of him. There was no other choice, load or unload, he had to keep wearing it.
The long-haired man tilted his head. “What's up?”
Hazel had turned her body, galloped towards her and handed the clothes to her. “Wear. This is all I have. You can't wear women's clothes, right?”
He nodded obediently. He took one of the clothes out of Hazel's hand. Then without any cue just stood up, intending to immediately wear the clothes. But foolishly, he did not realize that the blanket attached to his body had been thrown to the floor.
React Hazel who found the scene for the second time, screamed again while putting both hands on her face. His face turned perfectly red from embarrassment.
“KYAAA!!”
“Stupid basis! My eyes are broken because of you!”
The man with an innocent expression pointed at himself, unable to properly digest Hazel's words just now. “I ruined your eyes? What have I done?”
The big, veined hand touched Hazel's arm, wanting to see the pretty girl's face. Until when their beads rubbed against each other, Hazel even glared her eyes. Wanting to push away the tall body of the man in front of him, but he realized that his strength was not that strong.
“Hey, tell me. What did I do to make your eyes break?”
He draws his body closer to Hazel, eroding the distance between their faces, almost touching the tip of their noses if Hazel does not rush to rewind her head.
Hazel did not dare to lower her gaze, because she knew that this man before her must not have been wearing clothes. So that all he can do to get out of a situation like this is only one way.
THE PLAQUE!
The loud noise turned the atmosphere of the room tense. Seen once from the look of the eyes of the man looked surprised and confused. As for Hazel, she immediately turned her back on the body of her interlocutor.
“Wear that shirt, after that you have to get out of here. I don't want to see you anymore. It doesn't matter if you were a fox last night. Due to the fact, your injuries don't hinder you from wandering around out there right?” hazel's orders, sounding cold.
After saying that, Hazel passed away. Leaving the man still frozen in place alone in the room. There was only the squeaking sound of an old wooden door being closed when Hazel completely disappeared from sight.
Hazel did not feel guilty at all after slapping the man earlier. Because according to him, he deserved to do it to a man with such foolish behavior. Until this moment in thought, all of this felt absurd.
Its appearance is very surprising, making Hazel have to think hard and try to believe that creatures that supposedly said to have lived in the past now re-exist in this era.
“But when viewed from any side, he is exactly like a human in general. He did not have pointed ears like a fox, nor a tail that twitched behind his body. It just so happens that the characteristics are similar to the condition of the fox last night. He's not cheating on me, is he?” Hazel monologues alone in the living room.
Who would have thought, it turns out that the man in the room was now behind Hazel surprisingly. He heard what the girl said.
“You mean this?”
The heavy sound of a little hoarse was successful in making Hazel hangers. Because his voice was right in his ear. When his body turned over in reflex, Hazel's mouth was gaping wide with both eyes widening involuntarily.
“How? Do you really believe it now? It may seem strange to you, but if you're still curious, I'll explain everything in real time. But instead let me stay a while with you here,” he said with the offerer.
Hazel flinched while scaling in front of the chest. He did not answer directly. He repeatedly searched from the tip of the hair to the tip of the man's foot carefully. His father's clothes were attached to the athletic body of the man.
It does look cramped and does not seem comfortable enough to wear, as it actually prints clear all the muscles of the hands and abdomen. But at least it's better than wearing nothing.
The wavy long haired girl threw away her face, looking haughty. “Tch, I won't be fooled by you. What's in it after I find out all the stories about you? It has nothing to do with me. So please go. And you should know, a creature like you could be the prey of the citizens here. I can only advise you to be careful.”
The man, whose name is still unknown, immediately hid his pointed ears and long tail. Back to normal human mode. Without hesitation he knelt down to beg Hazel.
“Come, please. I can do anything to help you here. Tell me anything, then I'll do it without protest. Or if you want to ask something from me, I will grant it,” the door with a face of pity.
Hazel thought back. He could use that man's energy to do something. With innocent behavior that seems easy to manage, Hazel can act as she pleases. And this sounds fun if done.
But other than that, Hazel wanted to ask something from the man. He knew his request might be excessive and that the man might not have given it. Then if that happens, then Hazel has a reason to really kick him out of here.
Hazel's two legs walked around the body of the man who was still kneeling down there. Hazel's expression really animates the role of antagonist. Though his heart was as fragile as flammable paper. But every now and then Hazel wants to feel this way too.
“What about your locket? Can I have it?”
The man's expression changed when he heard it. Instead of not wanting, there were only one and two other things that made him unable to give the pendant easily.
“I've guessed, you definitely won't be able to give me that expensive pendant. Never mind, go there. If you want to stay here, at least you can be useful to help my life's economy,” kicked Hazel out, she was about to leave, but was immediately held back by the man's big arm.
“If I could give it to you, I would definitely not hesitate to give it to you. But for now I can't do it, what if you wait until I can let go?”
Hazel brushed off the big arm that was trailing her violently. “Already, stop. You--”
“This locket is like my own life. You know, I'm not a whole human being. Without this pendant, I cannot turn into a human. Instead, I will work and make money for you. I promise I won't trouble you,” to explain.
Long breath Hazel let out. He massaged his temples, trying to reduce dizziness in the head. It took him some time to understand all this. But since his mind was already filled with many things, it was difficult for him to make a decision while thinking about the consequences for the future.
For now, it might be fine to allow the strange creature to stay with him. As long as it can be profitable, Hazel will not throw it away. At least the man can help her to take care and clean the house.
“Take a bucket and wipe in the back,” get Hazel out of the blue.
“Eh?” The man's face looked very cengo.
“Why? You have to clean the puddles of rainwater in the house. Don't laze around, because I don't want to accept the burden of slackers,” he said as he lifted his leg to go away.
While the man who found out that Hazel had given permission to stay here, immediately pranced cheerfully. Swirling around in place to express her over-indulgence.
“I also hate overly active and noisy loads.” Hazel again made a sound, suddenly able to make the man there instantly speechless in that very second.
The man rubbed his nape, feeling awkward. His eyes glanced at Hazel's back. “Alright, I won't talk much anymore.”
“... By the way you don't want to know what my name is? We've been living in the same house, but don't know each other's names. Isn't that weird?”
