The Village Girl And the Fox Prince

The Village Girl And the Fox Prince
Chapter 33 - Difficult Situations.

The breeze blew quite tightly, sweeping away the pores that were soaked in sweat. Feels refreshing and comfortable. Eyelids with fluttering fur slowly closed perfectly, feeling the wind in the afternoon.

It had been almost a week for the two of them to spend time in the forest. Together they do a lot of things. Like a married couple, they work hand in hand to solve all the problems.

Until they forget, if outside this forest they have a life that should not be abandoned. What power, both of them were lulled by the murmuring whispers of love from within each other's chests.

Until finally they are awakened by something. The growth of fine orange feathers on Lynx's body makes Hazel wonder. More and more days, the feathers grow elongated.

Two days back, growing tail and ears that usually Lynx out when feeling happy or sad in excess. But now, his tail and pointed ears could not be hidden anymore.

What was?

What happened to Lynx?

That question will be answered now. Because Hazel keeps pushing, wanting to know everything. Afraid that this would be a bad sign for her lover if left to linger.

“Not intend to hide it from you, Hazel. But I just don't want to lose time with you. I want to make more memories with you. And I'm ready to take this risk, because I expected this to happen,” said Lynx, starting to tell me everything.

Hazel was still listening, looking at her face as if she wasn't calm. His heart was beating rhythmically, the thump inside there was increasingly heard exploding. Even at this moment both of his palms were already cold and giving off sweat.

“As you already know about the rays from my locket that are starting to fade, this is like a signal to me. Signal for me to quickly return to the land of birth. The land where I first stood. My time is not much actually..”.

Lynx paused for a while, breathing so hard that his ribs ached. Hold it for a while, before finally letting out that heavy breath into the air while removing the head.

Hazel, impatient, asked, “What's the risk if you don't come back?” His body was more sideways towards Lynx, reaching his lover's shoulder to face him as well.

Even though he was in a precarious situation, but Lynx still had a chance to chuckle. Even from the look of his eyes can not lie that there is sadness that is being felt.

“I'll be a fox man. In a sense, I cannot be a normal human being nor can I be a fox in general. Soon my body will be covered in fur, the handsome face that you often praise will be covered in thick fur, maybe soon my mouth will change like a fox.”

Lynx's relaxed expression as she said that, ignited the emotions in Hazel's body. How could that man take such a risk? There was a sense of disbelief in Hazel when she heard it.

“In addition, what are other risks?” hazel asked, the turbulent emotions still trying to hold him back.

“After this locket is completely extinguished, the magic inside is completely gone, I cannot return to my form. I was considered to have been cursed. Will not be accepted in my world, nor will my age be eroded in half. In a sense, I won't be able to live any longer,” Lynx replied, his gaze sweeping in another direction.

Hazel patted her forehead slowly, as she stomped her nose. Trying to understand the rather confusing situation here. Wanting to be angry, but Lynx's reason concerns him. About love, it can cover one's common sense.

“That's why I asked for an appointment from you. Come with me. We're getting out of here, Hazel. Before I get that curse, we have to get to my world. We fight there, our love must get recognition from them. In order for us to live peacefully there,” persuaded Lynx, his body sliding closer to Hazel.

“I've been missing for a week, Lynx.” Hazel brushed off Lynx's arm trying to embrace, staring at the bluish bead with a carefree look.

Told like that, Lynx fell silent. His mouth could not fill Hazel's words. Feeling that this is not the right time to take him away from here.

But on the other hand, Lynx couldn't wait any longer. His destiny is at stake, and his future will also be affected. In this anxious situation, Lynx found it difficult to make a decision.

Hazel lowered her head, her flickers taped to Lynx's bare chest. “Go, Lynx. Leave me here. Take care of your body first, you can come back anytime to see me. Once everything is ready, I will not hesitate to come with you.”

Deg.

Nope, no. That's not the answer Lynx wanted. Just thinking about it made him almost crazy. Imagining himself back without Hazel, there might be no more chance of him escaping into the human world.

It could be his father who was angry immediately married him to the girl who had been betrothed to him from the beginning. That way, Lynx will never be able to see Hazel again.

Lynx thinks what Hazel says is not the best solution. He felt that there would be no more opportunities after this. But thinking about how to use the opportunity, it was like being in a dead end.

“I promised, I will never leave you. You should come with me, Hazel. Me...”

“Stop thinking like a fool, Lynx,” spills Hazel in a resentful holding tone. Her brown eyes had already shone a cynic at him.

“Our love cannot end just because our bodies are far apart. Think about your body first, what if you can't go back to how you were? After all, with the condition of your body like this it will certainly be difficult to blend in the human world,” added Hazel, sounding resolute.

Lynx's two eyes glazed over, it felt like Hazel would never understand. It was difficult to express through words, so Lynx chose to hug her lover first.

Brucks.

Their bodies embraced. Before long, Hazel's emotions began to subside. His little hand that was on Lynx's back felt an irregular vibration, the sound of sobs began to sound.

The man with the big body was crying right now. Its dense tail seemed to wither, as well as its pointed ears that were bowing down. His sadness was well conveyed to Hazel.

“Hei, Lynx. It's okay, I promise to take good care of myself from now on. You don't have to worry about me. You'll definitely come to see me again, won't you?” asked Hazel gently right in her lover's ear, her springy fingers playing a child's hair around Lynx's neck.

“I love you, Hazel,” Lynx said on the sidelines as she pleased.

Hazel nods. Her tears are dripping. “I love you more, Lynx. Therefore, you must promise to see me again. Other times, I'll come with you.”

A few minutes off. There was only the sound of sobbing crying that was mutually simple. Even though a few days ago they were still laughing enjoying the happiness created together. But today, they were placed in this difficult position.
