The long night is over. Change with a new morning. Perhaps because the gurgling rain that fell soaked the earth, making the air this morning feel colder than usual.
Hazel, who was beginning to gasp, slowly woke up from her sleep. Not aware that all night he slept in a corner of the room in a leaning position. It is only fitting that his body feels stiff because of the cold, also the aching feeling makes it difficult to move a lot.
While bowing her head, Hazel was immediately treated to a soothing sight from Lynx who was still asleep on her thighs. The man who had changed into a human being was so handsome and set his eyes closed.
But Hazel wasn't swept away in her charm. Because the shadows of what he did last night instantly swirled clearly in his memory. All the words the man said kept ringing in his mind.
Hazel remembers everything. Maybe because he was crying too much, his head was a little dizzy. But the girl did not forget a single thing that happened last night. As if one by one, the contents of his head repeated about the incident.
“Ah, shit.” Hazel cursed while holding her head that was pulsating dizzy. Back landing his eyes on the man, Hazel realized that Lynx's curled body was not covered by a single thread.
Perhaps because he had seen this kind of scene more than once, Hazel was not surprised anymore. As if you're used to it, you're getting used to it. Because he knew, something like this would always be met.
Given how minimal the man's embarrassment was, so Hazel already understood how things were going. The thing he is currently doing is wanting to leave immediately, intending to wash his face.
Not once did Hazel's eyes drop down, just focus on Lynx's face. The man's head had already been lowered from his thigh, then walked slowly leaving him there alone.
Not knowing what possessed the girl, Hazel suddenly went to the room to pick up a blanket. Put it on Lynx's plain body so as not to get cold. Because if you move her to a bed or a couch, Hazel can't do it.
“Does he seriously say all those things?” Hazel is again overshadowed by Lynx's words, it's hard for her to brush off memories of last night.
While standing in front of the mirror, Hazel looks at her own face which looks terrible. Both of his eyes were very puffy. Slightly reddish, his nose was already similar to a clown's nose.
“Shameful. I could have cried in front of him last night,” muttered as he stroked his swollen eyes, hoping to return to how it was.
Hazel fell silent after walking into the kitchen, her body stopped in front of an empty dining table. His gaze focused on one object, but his mind had already wandered everywhere.
Unconsciously her lips lifted to make a smile. Again and again because of Lynx's behavior last night. Hazel seemed to be in a middle situation between happy and anxious.
Glad to feel relieved to be able to pour out his heartbreak. Unsettled by Lynx's unnatural response. Think of it any time, the sweet and winning words that Lynx issued always managed to bring up a beat in Hazel's chest.
Even now the girl's cheeks were reddish, the heat that ran through her body had crawled and thoroughly on her face. Defeating the cold, Hazel felt her body in the midst of the flames.
“Ck. Why am I thinking about it there? That can't be happening. Focus and be aware, Hazel.” He monologued while patting his cheeks repeatedly, the more red his white skin looks.
“What are you thinking? Hhoaam..” This heavy and hoarse baritone belonged to Lynx, the man who was previously cool in dreamland was already on the doorstep.
Lynx was only bare-chested, the blanket Hazel gave her was worn to cover her lower body. Sometimes he rubbed his eyes while continuing to yawn, showing a drowsiness that has not disappeared.
While Hazel suddenly froze in place, she did not want to turn her head or move her body to turn to face Lynx. His small body gulped down, bowing its head while closing its eyes firmly. I don't know, it was as if a sense of fear had arisen upon hearing the man's voice.
Not afraid of something bad. Maybe more specifically a feeling of shame? Yeah like that. Hazel just can't get her memories of last night. Hearing and feeling the thrilling feelings that Lynx did to make her feel calm, Hazel became misbehaved.
“Huh? Why are you even quiet? What's up, Hazel?” The curious Lynx then moved forward on Hazel. Her tall body was now in front of the girl, but wherever her body was facing, Hazel quickly avoided it.
So Lynx who had started to grow angry because she saw Hazel moving around to get away from her, reached out to touch the orange-haired girl's shoulder. Clutching him so Hazel wouldn't move again.
He exhaled heavily, his back more bent forward. Seeing clearly that Hazel's face turned red. Bringing questions and conjectures into his mind.
To confirm her conjecture, Lynx brought her face closer to Hazel's forehead. Sticking his forehead to her too. Check the body temperature of the girl.
But Hazel, who had thought nothing of it, thought that Lynx was kissing her, immediately turned her head off. Staring at him with enlarged pupils.
“You kissed me?!”
Lynx tilted her head while chuckling. “No. I'm just sticking my forehead on your forehead. Looking at your reddened face, I thought that you had a fever. And it turns out you're pretty hot. Sorry for letting you sleep all night on the floor.”
Hazel shook her head softly, wanting to refute the man's words. “No, I don't have a fever. I'm doing fine. It was colder today, and it was still raining outside. So maybe my body temperature hasn't adapted completely.”
“Really? Then you don't need to take a shower today. Just change your clothes. I'll make you breakfast. Even if it rains, we have to keep going to work,” Lynx said as he passed away.
Hazel nodded briefly. Just as his body was about to turn around, his intention was suddenly scrapped as Lynx again made a sound.
“On last night, you ... Don't forget it, right?” Lynx had a little trouble asking, but she wanted to make sure she didn't forget what she had said.
“How can I forget it? I cried until my eyes were so full. Of course I clearly remember everything. But because I remember it, I'm a-”
Brucks.
Lynx silenced Hazel's unfinished speech with a hug she did from behind. Clutching the girl's small body with both of her big arms. Hiding his face behind Hazel's neck, it looks like a boy who wants to be pampered.
Hazel who was surprised was not playing, could only stupefy with her mouth slightly open. His whole body suddenly petrified, only his heart was beating uncontrollably.
Wanting to tell the man to let go of her embrace, but on one side Hazel so enjoyed the warmth that wrapped her body this. It was as if the warmth that Lynx gave could calm down any worries that had been tormenting him.
But back in reality, Hazel realized the towering bulkhead between herself and the man was so sturdy and not easy to tear down. Once again, Hazel must remember that Lynx is not human.
Hazel inhaled, then held her back for a while before letting her out again. His eyes closed, thinking of something he would say to the man.
“Lynx, you have no intention of returning to where you came from? Feels ... It can't be if you keep living with me here?” While saying this, Hazel tries to break down the embrace, leaving her body detached from the man's confinement.
Lynx who did not know why Hazel suddenly questioned that, making her eyebrows fuse together in confusion. “Are you not glad I'm here to be with you? You said you remembered what I said last night. But why..”.
“That's not the case, Lynx,” rebut Hazel quickly. His body walked forward, getting further and further away from the man behind him.
“Then what?”
I don't know how many times Hazel breathed. He looks so worried. “I'm just scared---”
“Fear we both end up falling in love?” sosor Lynx, as if he knew what Hazel was thinking.
