When heading into the middle of the night, Lynx who had agreed to a deal to perform a ritual self-sacrifice, immediately memapah to the back garden alone.
The atmosphere of the palace was quiet, a little dark because some of the lights had been turned off. Dull garden lights become lighting that Lynx can rely on. Cringing for a moment, Lynx didn't see anyone. Except for the guards, they were unaware of Lynx's presence.
Earlier, Lynx confirmed that Hazel had slept comfortably. He ran away from the room, leaving his girlfriend alone. When Hazel wakes up in the morning, she will be surprised to find Lynx who has lost one eye.
“So you haven't told Hazel this?” jack asked after hearing Lynx's ambiguous-sounding confession.
Holding back a smile, Lynx nodded. “She is pregnant. I don't want to burden him with things he shouldn't think about. Let it go, it's been my decision. Sacrificing one eye, won't make me die.”
Jack smiled sadly, in fact he could not do this. For a perfect figure like Lynx, it feels too evil if it has to damage the beauty that has been entrusted to the figure. Lynx eye color is very rare.
“It's true. But you'll be handicapped your whole life. It's not like Prince San lost his eye function because he was injured, but you actually lost your eyeball, ” Jack explained.
But because he is firm with his stance and has been unanimous in his decision, so Lynx still will not back down when the ritual to be undertaken is in sight.
“It's okay. I'm sure, Hazel's love for me won't diminish just because I only have one eye,” Lynx replied with a chuckle.
“Alright if that's what you want. I am really amazed by the spaciousness of your heart, this action of yours is worth appreciating.” Jack patted Lynx's head briefly, in the form of a fox he looked as big as a wolf.
As for Jack, because he has above average magic abilities from other foxes, so for tonight he did not change into a fox. Except to be a whole human being. Around his body there was a strange energy.
“Come in. We'll do it inside.” Jack drives, walks in front, opens the door for Lynx.
The door was closed tightly again. Inside the narrow room and filled with sharp weapons, it was only illuminated by a bale-beam installed in the corners of the room.
Jack had already tidied up the room, sliding each shelf to the sides of the wall. So that a medium-sized table can be placed in the middle of the room. He told Lynx to lie down on the table.
Some small jugs that contain various kinds of liquids with different colors have Jack prepared. He put it near the table, making it easier for him to take the liquid.
“Quiet. Don'tbeafraid. Through the help of magic, this will not hurt. Just open your eyes, and start thinking about the future of Foxion Kingdom. Consider yourself a hero, imagine you are able to eradicate those who are evil using your own abilities.”
Jack begins to suspect Lynx, trying to bring her into the subconscious. Slowly, Lynx began to be affected. Although both of Lynx's eyes were open, but her gaze looked blank.
The fox lying on the table was unconscious. No longer could he hear Jack's incantation. Lynx is completely in her subconscious world, imagining being the MC that brings peace to the Foxion Kingdom.
The magic controlled by Jack is able to move things around. Because of the strength of the magic he released, he unconsciously shook the atmosphere of the room.
More than that, in the ritual that was lived full of magic, unexpectedly the sound of some kind of explosion sounded very loud. Making all the weapons neatly arranged on the shelf, has now fallen in any direction.
Already sweating coldly, Jack was a little unsure of being able to complete the ritual that drained his energy. Due to the loud noise earlier, Jack's ears also felt stiff. His fingers that were twitching in control of the magic energy, began to cramp.
“Come, come, come. A little more!” Jack shouted inwardly, cheering himself on.
Plop!
Lynx's beautiful eyeballs started rolling from where it came from, coming out as if without a fight. And those empty eyelids were already closed.
As soon as Jack took the eyeball, he grasped it using his magic. Very bright, the bluish color made Jack amazed. Not wanting to linger longer, he hurriedly put the eyeball into a small empty jug that had been coated by cloth.
“Hopefully your struggle is not in vain,” muttered Jack while focusing his gaze on Lynx, he rubbed his face so that one eye was closed.

BOOM UP!
But he felt nothing beside him, when he saw that Lynx was indeed not there. He became confused himself, starting to wonder where his lover went.
“Is it possible that he went to practice again? But it's impossible, it's time for him to rest,” he said in a slow tone, looking uneasy.
Carefully descending the bed, treading the cold floor towards the door, intending to search for Lynx's whereabouts. Just a few steps out of the room, Hazel saw the atmosphere of the palace looked boisterous as it was filled with roaring foxes.
Maybe because of the sound of the explosion, everyone woke up. They also wondered while searching for the source where the explosion sounds. Fear that there is an impromptu attack from an enemy that has been waving war flags for a long time.
As she was going down the stairs to mingle with them, Hazel's intentions were clouded when a voice called out her name. Make him reflect directly to look at to meet him.
“Aluka?” Hazel narrowed her eyes, looking at the little fox who was walking a little staggering under the dimly lit alley.
“Where are you going? Don't dismount. If you're afraid, I'll be with you. Let's go back to the room,” invites Aluka, deliberately preventing Hazel because she actually knows what she will do.
“But ... What about Lynx? He suddenly disappeared, even though we slept together before. He's never been like this. It is also impossible for him to train in the middle of the night. I'll scold Mr. Jack if he makes Lynx train too hard,” Hazel cerocos with one breath.
Aluka chuckles. “You're too worried, Hazel. Tomorrow morning you'll see it. So now go back to sleep, and trust me that Brother Lynx will be fine. He's just busy taking responsibility for this country.”
Hazel put on a gloomy face. It doesn't seem fair, the more time with Lynx the more thinnest. Even a few days without face to face. But anyway this is a risk Hazel had to accept from the beginning.

Sunlight began to rise above the horizon, replacing the dark sky with a bright light that illuminated the entire earth. The fox that was still lying on the table, slowly transformed its body into a human.
Jack, who was awake all night, immediately put a set of clothes on the body of Lynx who was plain naked. Waiting for him to open his eyes.
One sec.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
Eventually Lynx's right eye blinked, adapting to the light stimuli around. His forehead shriveled, his body began to rise to sit down. Then looked at Jack beside him who looked exhausted.
“How about your eyes?”
Asked like that, Lynx immediately touched his left eye which indeed felt strange. Something seems to be missing from there. When touched, it was empty. But it doesn't hurt or anything, like numbness.
“So far there's nothing I've felt. It's just that I'm not used to the way I look,” Lynx said as it is.
Jack took something to hand over to Lynx. “Wear this to cover your left eye. Then go back to the palace, meet your lover. Also explain to others about last night, I'm sure they must have heard some kind of explosion from here.”
“Then Mom will stay here?”
Lynx's forehead was given a flick by Jack, making him complain slowly.
“Stop calling me Mom. I am the man who became your uncle.”
“Why are you protesting now?” hiss Lynx while giving a cynical look.
“Already, than that you should come back soon. I'm not getting out of here until I finish what I'm gonna do. So in the meantime, don't you ever meet me and tell the others not to come here,” over Jack warned.
