The Village Girl And the Fox Prince

The Village Girl And the Fox Prince
Chapter 58 - The Day of War Has Arrived.

The next day, just before sunrise, the sky was still dark with stars scattered, Lynx had set up a formation of troops who would come down to the battlefield.

Although his body condition has not improved completely, Lynx forced himself to continue to carry out his responsibilities. Without complaining and in pain with the wound on her arm, Lynx so eagerly went to and fro to take care of everything.

Of all the demons who joined, Lynx divided it into ten groups of troops. Which of the ten groups of troops, only two troops will join him.

The rest will attack from other directions. Lynx, of course, bravely took the front and faced directly with the enemies who allegedly had the same strength as him.

From the first half of the army was left a group of troops as a backup. It is feared that all who have taken to the field have fallen unaccounted for, so Lynx still have another team.

And it is estimated that this war is impossible to last and end in one day, Lynx also gave the task of — medical forces led by Ash, to bring food supplies other than medicine.

Because it was impossible for them all to go back and forth to the palace to fill the stomach and rest. Because Lynx did not want to bring trouble by making a gap for their enemies to enter the palace.

“This small cage that will monitor the situation on the battlefield. He will often come home and go to inform what is happening there, so do not hesitate to tell or ask anything if you see him, Lynx,”, Jack explained.

The bird with the size of one adult fist flew to Lynx's shoulder, he immediately showed what he could. Through his eyeballs, the bird emits a kind of blue hologram light to show some of the events he has seen.

Lynx nodded in understanding. “Good. Thank you, Jack. So what is the name of this beautiful bird?”

“He has no name. With the ability he has, he's like designed for things like this.”

Piw~

Piw~

Piw~

Whistling slowly, it turns out that the sound is not as beautiful as the colors and patterns it has. But even so, the bird looks adorable.

“Then I have to join the others. I'm putting the palace on you. Please take care of everything. Let—”

“What did you say?” sidelines Jack with a linked forehead. His hands are ruffled by the waist. “I'll go to war too. With the remnants of magic I have, I can help you guys.”

“But what if—”

“Don't worry too much, Lynx. Prince San and Prince Sen are here. They I'm assigned to guard the palace and protect the others. Besides, I'm sure with the magic hood that I made it hard for them to break through the palace,” cut Jack back.

“Wait!” No, it's not Lynx who said. It seems that there are other demons who want to join in this conversation.

Lynx and Jack both turned to the source of the voice, he came closer with his serious face. The two of them did not realize that he was here to eavesdrop.

“I've decided to come. I'm not as smart as San, but I can help you. I will use all my abilities to destroy them,” he said solemnly.

“But, Prince Sen..”

“It's okay. San will stay here. He's still in healing. But I'm sure he's capable of handling something like that happening,” Sen replied to reassure.

Lynx breathed a rough breath. Everyone wants to come along, somehow he feels this is not a good thing. It's not that he feels better than them so he doesn't need help, it's just that Lynx isn't sure this way.

Looking next to Jack's bandaged arm to hide a wound that even himself did not know, Lynx suspected the man was hiding something. Without saying anything, Jack fought as if nothing had happened.

Puk.

Jack touches Lynx's shoulder, making his manic so stare. “Do not worry. Let's do this together. I suspect this war will happen at most five days or a week, and at the earliest only three days. We can go home if something happens in the palace.”

After being persuaded and convinced, Lynx finally resigned. The three of them went out to the palace grounds. There were many troops gathered there.

And Jack has coordinated everything with a mutually agreed plan. They all already knew where each of them was to hide before storming when given the order.

Each team has one leader, whose leader will get orders or instructions from Lynx later. And Jack will lead the army from the east.

“So I'll be with the troops from the west?” tanya Sen made sure.

Jack nodded. “True, Prince.”

“Good. I will be with their leader. I'll be there to tell others about this,” he said as he walked away.

“That means I will attack towards the north, where the center of government or their palace is located, I will sneak in there when there is an opportunity,” Lynx said while doing muscle stretching.

“It's not easy looking for opportunity. For one to two days, just focus on exterminating the troops they have. Until it runs out unnoticed, after that you will meet with a stronger dog demon later,” said Jack told.

“Good, I understand.”

After the eight groups of troops lined up at each of the designated spots, all of them would immediately set off for the battlefield. While the medical team with the food team has already arrived there, preparing the tent and preparing everything needed later.

“Lynx!”

“Wait a minute!”

The summoned turned his head, looking towards the long haired lady who was running hastily towards him. Afraid of falling, Lynx swiftly ran to get to him first.

“Hey, relax. What was? Don't sprint. You're pregnant, Hazel. I'm afraid you fell and something happened to our son,” Lynx warned, his hands touching Hazel's shoulders while looking at her anxiously.

Hazel optimizes her breathing first, her nerves are not once diverted to stare at anything else, continuing to look at Lynx without words and boredom.

“You okay?” Lynx touched Hazel's cheeks, slightly advancing her face to look at her more closely. “What's up? Just tell me before I go.”

Instead of answering to relieve her lover's worries, Hazel tiptoes to land a kiss on Lynx's left cheek. Then laughs softly while hugging her.

“Spirit! I support you from here. When you want to give up, remember there is me and your son always waiting for you to come home,” whispered Hazel as she tightened her arms.

Lynx smiled, hugging along. “Thank you. I'll do my best.”

Their embrace was brief, considering that this was no time for fun. And the sun will rise soon. So Lynx immediately returned to the line.

Wearing a warlord shirt made of steel, do not forget all the weapons he used later also attached to his body. Then slowly everything walked out of the palace gate, ready to board their respective vehicles.

Jack waved at Hazel with a smile. As if to convince him that everything will be fine. Before long, he walked out after making a transparent magic hood that covered the entire palace grounds.

All the troops boarded the Roc, a mythological animal of enormous size with a sinister look. While Lynx, he rode a winged black horse named Jessie who had been trained to work well together.

As their vehicle began to fly into the air, Hazel shed her tears as she continued to wave and stare at their departure with a heavy heart. So do the residents, they cheered to cheer.

Aside from them, none of the members of the Royal family seemed to be encouraging. I don't know what makes the King not care, but honestly with his attitude that so he does not deserve to be called the King.

Keeping her two clutched hands in front of her chest, Hazel lowered her head while crying as she pleased. He offered prayers for the safety of them all.

“I just want him back safely. Hiks..”
