“Who were the two men?” hazel asks, he asks after he is taken away by Lynx to one of the rooms that will be occupied together.
“He is my half-brother. The son of another woman whom my father married. They're San and Sen, they're twins but not identical. And the codet in San's eyes, it was me,” Lynx said without feeling guilty after admitting his actions.
Hazel paused for a moment from her work treating the wound on Lynx's palm. He looked up a moment to see his girlfriend. “Why did you hurt him?”
“He deserves it. I was lazy to tell, the point of the incident was that I was recognized as a fox that has a stronger physique than those who are good at controlling magic,” he said, his facial expression looked annoyed.
If it had been like that, Hazel wouldn't have taken her any further. Not wanting to make the man's mood worse. But in his mind there was still one thing that made him wonder.
“Then, who is Ren?”
Lynx took a breath, trying to calm down. “She is the woman who will be betrothed to me. He's not a fox demon. He's one of the snake races. So most likely you won't meet him.”
Hazel nodded faintly. His head lowered again, almost finished wrapping the wound on Lynx's hand with a bandage. The puncture wounds from fighting the soldiers this morning turned out to be quite deep, making the blood that came out difficult to stop.
“Why are you asking? You jealous?” Lynx asked back accompanied by a slow throb.
“No,” the answer is firm. His eyes are still focused downwards. “I just want to know who he is and how perfect he is to the point that your haughty brother humbles me with harsh words.”
The words he made sounded like he was holding back some frustration. Lynx understands Hazel's position. Although the lover did not cry, but it was clearly visible that the look in his eyes showed sadness.
Touching the back of Hazel's hand, made her busy treating activities immediately stop. He immediately raised his gaze, so he met the Lynx bead immediately. He could feel the gaze he was showing was quite defensive.
“Hazel, earlier on behalf of my brother, I wanted to apologize to you. And also I have a request, please never listen to anything they tell you. Because the one who is in this relationship is you and me.” Lynx clasped the back of Hazel's hand, her face slowly moving forward.
“I never care about what they say, because to choose you I don't need any comments or suggestions from anyone. Believe me, falling in love with you is the happiest thing more than anything I have ever experienced in this world.”
Lynx raised her arm, touching her cheek. Then it crept slowly to touch Hazel's nape. Using a little energy to pull it, thus cutting the distance between the two faces.
“Whatever the circumstances, no matter how difficult the problems that come up ahead, I will never regret that I have chosen you. So let's keep going through this together. Like you said, that there will always be a way for someone who wants to try,” Lynx closed, his voice softened.
The more hands Hazel still held under her hands the more she crumbled, her body advancing little by little. Grabbing a pink chewy object for him to bite and give a touch.
When both of their eyes started to close, the atmosphere turned even calmer. Feel the heat that runs through the entire body. Their tongues that danced to create sounds from the gentle movements in each mouth, further making them carried away.
Not long ago the grill took place, suddenly the door of the room was knocked on by someone. Reflexively both of their eyes were open, Lynx was a little surprised while inching from the edge of the bed.
“A-I will open the door,” she said a little nervously with reddened cheeks, then darted quickly towards the door that was still trying to be knocked from the outside.
A young girl who was only a little bit tall as Lynx's stomach was already thrusting a garment when the door was open. His gaze was so clear, no grudges or negative feelings were visible.
“It ... Suggested clothes Sis Lynx.” His legs tiptoed, the shirt in his hand the more he thrust up to hit Lynx's chin.
With Lynx receiving it immediately, the clothes were flanked at the waist. Next to his bandaged hand he stuck it to the top of the girl's head, his lips already curled a sweet smile.
“Good. Thank you, Aluka. You can go now.”
But the young girl did not go straight away, she was twisting her body. Trying to peek out of the slit of Lynx's body, wanted to see someone sitting on the edge of the mattress.
“What's up? You want to meet him?” Lynx asked after reading his movements.
The girl named Aluka nodded in spirit. “Yes! I'm the only one who hasn't seen what it looks like. I would also like to meet and get acquainted with Brother Lynx.”
The sound of Lynx's little laugh came up, he rubbed his youngest brother's head again. “Later after he rests, then you can meet him.”
“Really?” Aluka's eyes sparkled expectantly.
“Yes. So now you don't see him until tomorrow, okay?”
Aluka nodded obediently. “OK!” Then he turned his body to leave in front of Lynx.
Not yet had Lynx finished closing the door and his body had not turned around, Hazel immediately asked a question full of inquiry.
“Who?”
Lynx brings the clothes that Aluka gave Hazel. “That's my youngest sister. She's my only sister. Name's Aluka. You can get to know him later.”
“No,” said quickly, Hazel's eyes shifted to just any place. Wherever as long as you don't see him.
“Eh? Why?”
Lynx's shoulders slumped, a rough gasp was ejected. He immediately galloped at the agitated-looking Hazel, sitting beside her while embracing her shoulders attentively.
“Hey, why did you conclude it like that? Aluka is different. Trust me. He was younger, his mind was still innocent. He is not an easily influenced person, he will judge what he sees with his own eyes.”
It seemed that the attempt to persuade Hazel would end in vain, for her lover remained unmoved without even saying a word. Even his eyes continued to glance in another direction.
“Yes is it, enough for today. The sun will soon set. I'll go back to being a fox. So too with the others. And you can rest. Don't get out of here except with me. Understand?”
Hazel nodded slowly.
While ruffling Hazel's short hair. Lynx then gave the clothes that Aluka brought earlier. He told her to change clothes.
“You can shower and change clothes. Bathroom is at the door over there.” Lynx's index finger pointed at the door in front, this room was equipped with several rooms.
“I'll be out. Wanted to see my father. No matter what he's sick or. I know it's just an excuse. Surely at this time he was trying to avoid me,” said goodbye to Lynx while inching from his seat.
“When will you be back?”
Lynx's long legs came to a halt just before one more step approached the door. He looked back, catching the sad glow of Hazel's bead.
“I won't be long. Pray that everything will be smooth. Before night, I'll be back,” he explained before finally going back and his back started to disappear from behind the door.
Silent.
Feels hollow.
Only accompanied by a gentle breeze slipped in through the slightly open vents. Walking closer to it, Hazel brought the clothes Lynx gave her.
He stood by the window, opening it wider. Until a refreshing wind comes and sweeps its face. Clear threads had gone down the cheek, but he hastily removed.
Hazel muttered while holding back a bit, her breathing becoming disjointed. “Hhh, but this is just the beginning. But why does it feel so painful?”

It's been more than three hours since Lynx said goodbye to get out of the room. But until this moment, the man did not return. Hazel walks back and forth in front of the door, peering through the key to see when her boyfriend is back.
But Hazel finds no sign of Lynx's arrival. Several times the sound of footsteps flashed in front of the room, but it was not Lynx. Hazel became a little worried when she thought about it.
“It's been this night. Where'd it go, Lynx? He said it won't be long,” dumelnya slow, a little stomping his feet to the floor.
Hazel thought for a moment, looking as if she had bitten her lips a few times. “Do I try to catch up with him? I am also actually hungry, since this afternoon I have not eaten anything.” His hands were stroking his stomach which felt sore.
After some deliberation, Hazel finally decided to go out. Not thinking about how the risk will be, the most important thing is that he can see and meet with Lynx. Because his premonition has not been good since.
Fortunately the door to the room was unlocked, so Hazel was able to move agilely out. Down the aisle that is a little dark because of the lack of lighting, walking alone without the company of anyone.
Successfully exiting the hallway on the right and left side lined with doors containing the room, Hazel was immediately faced with a ladder to the main room below. But before he moved his foot there, something stopped him.
Not because someone called him, not because his presence was known to someone. But because...
“That's his choice, Lynx! You can't decide everything at will. If you still want that human to leave safely from here, that means you have to marry Ren!”
The speech was uttered by a large fox with a darker fur color, the clothes he wore were so neat and authoritative, as well as a shining crown on his head. It appears that the fox is old.
“Why is that his only choice? I love Hazel, not Ren! Anyway, what's the difference? I'm different with Ren. Even very different. Snake and fox, where it might be together. He should be with his flock again!” furious Lynx, so vehemently opposed.
The fox who was sitting in the place that had been provided for a King was increasingly staring at his son, his canine teeth he took out.
“You want another option? Then, you and with that damn human will stay together.”
Lynx was about to widen her smile, but suddenly her smile faded after her father continued.
“Tomorrow, before sunset, you with him will be hanged. Just like the end of your birth mother's life. That way your love will end with a lifetime, right?” The King grinned with satisfaction.
“... That's the only option I can give you. So decide for yourself, which choice do you want?”
