Dubai, 10.10am...
The wind before noon felt cold like never before. The lush leaves of the garden trees also began to fall. It looks like it's going to rain soon today.
The sky was clear, not showing any black clouds. But that doesn't mean the rain won't come. Just as Ara felt, she acted as if nothing had happened, even though her heart was being hurt.
Now he sits on the campus garden chair alone. He immediately put on his sweater because he felt cold.
"Hey, Ara." A young man came and sat down next to him.
"Taka?" Ara turned to look at the young man.
"How are you today?" the correct man asked was Taka.
"Em, I .. less good as it seems." Ara smiled so much.
"Is there something that holds your heart?" Taka tried to get closer to Ara.
"Huh .. I don't know. I'm confused." Ara leaned her back on the garden chair.
"Stupid? Because what?" ask Taka again.
Ara was silent for a moment. He looked at the blue sky in space. His heart was troubled by Jane's words this morning. He could not forget the incident that made his heart hurt.
"Does love not have to have?" Ara asked Taka.
"Well?!" Taka was confused for a moment.
"Em, sorry." Ara immediately looked ahead. "I don't think I'm feeling well." Ara reasoned while holding the nape of her own neck.
"Ara, you seem to be hiding something. Just tell me. Maybe by sharing your feelings you'll be calmer." Taka.
The two sat far apart in the campus garden chairs. But, they look close like old friends. Taka opened himself up so that Ara would no longer feel sorry for him. But baby, the girl has not been so trusting of Taka. He still has his own problems.
"Has Cinderella's audition already begun?" Ara diverts.
"You intend to come?" Taka enthusiastically responded.
"Maybe I can come along if the schedule is right." Ara is interested.
"Then this is how it is. Let's get the sequence number first. Later if the time is not right, I help talk so that the audition time can be postponed." Taka excited.
"Eh? Seriously?!" Ara couldn't believe that Taka could help her.
"Yes, I'll talk to the head of the committee. I know this audition is also a stepping stone for students who want a career in film." Taka.
"Really, right?" Ara sympathetic.
"He-em. There is no harm in trying first. Running away or not is none of our business. What matters is that we try our best." Taka.
"Hm, okay." Ara was excited too.
"Bantai, Ara!!!" Taka clenched his right hand upward.
"Bantai!!!"
Not knowing what it meant, Ara just went along to say the word. He smiled at Taka for helping him.
Ara is eager to land the lead role in the Cinderella fairy tale. But he was discouraged when he saw the other students. Ara felt her acting ability was far below the others.
If this is my recovery, then nowhere will it go.
The girl smiled again after feeling ill because of the words of someone who claimed to be her woman Rain, the man who wanted to marry her. I don't know who to trust, Ara hasn't been willing to think about it. He was afraid of getting carried away by his own feelings and even caused another fight. Ara wants everything to be okay.
After college...
Today Ara came home from college at two in the afternoon, and now she is filling out an audition form for the role of the fairy tale Cinderella. He finally got the audition number that fell on Sunday at nine in the morning.
After getting the sequence number, Ara walked out of the registration room and returned to meet Taka who was chatting at the door of the room with his friends. Taka also introduced Ara to his two friends.
"Greetings, I'm Ara." Ara put her right hand on the chest as a salute.
"I'm Nidji and this is Ken." A young man in a blue shirt introduced himself and his friend.
"They're my friends from Japan, Ara. The three of us got a student exchange opportunity." Taka.
"It's nice to meet you guys." Ara smiled at Taka's friends.
"Where are you from?" ask Taka's friend in a blue shirt, Nidji.
"I'm from Indonesia." Ara answered immediately.
"Oh, so Taka got smitten with a girl from Indonesia." Ken, Taka's friend in a black T-shirt taunts him.
Taka just smiled to himself in response to the joke from his friend.
"Em, sorry. A moment."
Ara's phone rang soon. An incoming call made him aware to immediately pick up the phone.
"Yes, Jack?" Jack called Ara.
"good. I'm going there now." Ara then hung up.
"Why Ara?" ask Taka who wants to know.
"Taka, I'm going home first. I've been picked up." Ara explained while putting the phone into her pants pocket.
"You don't want me to take you?" ask Taka again.
"No, thank you. See you all."
Ara immediately said goodbye to Taka and his friends while smiling. He looks rushed.
Taka could do nothing. He could only see Ara's departure unaccompanied by her. Suddenly his mind was enveloped with Ara's words this morning. I don't know why he was worried about Ara.
It seemed like he was keeping something heavy in his mind.
Taka saw Ara's departure until it disappeared from sight. He then continued the conversation with his two friends. Ara rushed to the campus gate to meet Jack there. Jack was waiting for him.
"Sorry a little long, Jack." Ara immediately got in the car.
"It's okay, Miss. Are we going straight home?" jack asked while turning on the engine.
"Hm, yeah. We'll just go home." Ara answered immediately.
Jack immediately drove his car to the master's apartment. Along the way, the two do not open the conversation at all, as it turns out that Ara is being called by Rain.
Fifteen minutes later...
"Here I just got, Bawel."
Arriving at the apartment, Ara and Rain were still on the phone. To the extent that Jack had to bend his body without making a sound when saying goodbye to Ara. And now Ara is sitting on the living room sofa after locking the apartment door from the inside.
"Yes, Honey. I'm not naughty." Ara chuckled with Rain's possessive words.
"Yes, I'll see you later." Finally, Ara could hang up.
"Huh, he's that. I don't know why I feel the situation is turning around. She was so considerate, she even called to make sure I got there safely." Ara smiled to herself while holding her phone.
Opened a photo gallery, he saw photos of his collaboration with Rain. Caught laughter as well as wounds that shed tears, accompanying the journey of the two. Ara also rubbed a photo of Rain on her phone.
"I should have been the one who was afraid you were naughty there. If I was who would want it? Fuck up!" Ara then kissed Rain's photo on her phone.
The girl rolled her hair and tidied up the apartment. He cleaned first before taking an afternoon shower. And today he will pass alone because his man is busy in the middle of the ocean.
