The Ruler's Love Contract

The Ruler's Love Contract
Promises

If I had rented a bulletproof car earlier, of course Rain would not have been hit by a shot like this. God, forgive me for not being able to protect my brother.

Owdie sat down and rubbed his face. He did not expect that he would experience something like this after returning from his grandfather's manshion. A few dozen minutes of waiting for Rain in the operating room made him restless and anxious himself. He was worried that the bullet was not an ordinary bullet, but there was poison.

May God protect you, Rain.

He then prayed for the safety of his brother in a heart of anxious hope awaiting news. Soon the doctor who handled Rain came out of the operating room. Owdie soon realizes and approaches him.

"How's he doing, Doc?" He asked immediately about his brother's current state.

The doctor who had just finished surgery on Rain immediately removed his mask. The green-clothed doctor was seen accompanied by several sisters and a personal assistant who was still treating Rain in the room. The doctor also seemed to breathe a sigh of relief after completing the operation on his patient.

"You don't have to worry, sir. The bullet didn't hit Mr. Rain's arm bone. Mr. Rain is fine now. Just had to do overnight hospitalization post-surgery." The doctor said.

"Then how's his arm doing now, Doc?" ask Owdie again.

The doctor understood the anxiety that had plagued his patient's family. "Some of Mr. Rain's skin tissue was torn by the bullet. But, it can heal by itself. You don't have to worry" the doctor said.

"Are those bullets regular bullets, Doc?" ask Owdie who wants more certainty about Rain's condition.

Doctor nodded. "Yes. Bullets are ordinary bullets. It's just that the diameter of the bullet is smaller and the tip is very sharp. We've taken it out of Mr. Rain's arm. Prediction one day from now his arm could gradually recover. Closing a wound can take a long time. Maybe about three to four weeks. Depends on Mr. Rain's own endurance." The doctor explained.

Owdie. "Can I see it now, Doc?" Owdie wants to see Rain.

Doctor nodded. "of course. Go ahead. Later the nurse will take him to the inpatient room in the VVIP class. We need overnight to monitor the results of the operation" said the doctor again.

"All right, Doc." Owdie also agreed.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Owdie. May Mr. Rain recover soon." The doctor said goodbye after he finished his job.

"Thank you, Doc. Thank you very much." Owdie also agreed.

Owdie immediately entered the operating room after the doctor who handled Rain said goodbye. As he entered, a nurse was seen helping Rain to sit in a wheelchair. Owdie took over immediately.

"Let me just." He would not want anyone to touch his brother.

Fortunately, Rain was still siding with him because it turned out that his gunshot wound was not too severe. He also did not need to linger in the hospital to monitor his wounds. It only takes overnight so that the doctor can control the former surgery. No doubt it certainly makes Owdie can breathe freely. She finally went with the nurse to Rain's hospital room. Rain will be making postoperative observations.

Fifteen minutes later, at a Kansas border hospital...

It's getting late afternoon. Owdie was helping Rain take his medicine. The ruler of oil mining in the Middle East seemed resigned when Owdie paid more attention to him. He also obeyed everything Owdie commanded. Though before that Owdie always annoying himself.

Both of them do not understand why all this could happen. Both Owdie and Rain were still guessing what happened to them earlier. Owdie felt that everyone who was chasing him was an organization. He then took action to prevent it from happening again. He called someone and asked for a guard for himself and Rain.

Owdie asked for help not to one of their foster brothers, but to one of the highest leaders they were under. Owdie can't let this happen again. He felt responsible for the safety of his two brothers. He loved his brother so much.

Another Owdie, another one with Rain. The husband of Ara was seen laying his back on the hospital bed staring at the ceiling of his inpatient room. His hands were bandaged and the look on his face seemed worried about something. Owdie as a brother immediately get water for Rain. Owdie helps Rain drink the water.

"I think Nick has another problem with you, Rain." Owdie put back the glass of water Rain had drunk.

"You feel that way?" ask Rain who is trying to be ordinary. He doesn't want to think too much about it.

"It's possible that he has a crazy illness and won't stop until his obsession is fulfilled. I think it happened to us just now because of him. Who else, isn't it?" Owdie took Rain in thought.

Rain took his breath. It's like he doesn't know what to talk about. "Maybe he didn't take it with all the assets Grandma had given me." Rain revealed.

Owdie sat on the edge of Rain's bed. "Isn't it on Grandma's own wishes? He can't arrange a grandmother even his own granddaughter." Owdie recalls an event that happened in his teenage years.

"Huh .. I don't know. I just don't want to make trouble. Ara is pregnant at the moment so I have to get my business done in the USA right away. After that I want to live quietly with him. Caring for and raising our children together." Rain expressed his desire

Owdie nodded, he understood. "Then tomorrow morning we're out of the hospital. I'm afraid they'll find out where we are here. I'll also think of another way to teach Nick a lesson. You just focus on healing your wounds so you can go home to meet Ara soon. Nick's business let me. He won't stop until his bad deeds are avenged." Owdie cheers Rain.

Rain turned to Owdie. "Don't tell anyone about this shooting. Especially Ara, yeah." Rain.

Owdie nodded as well. "Just calm down, Rain. I can be trusted. There's nothing else I can do but be with you." Owdie's got Rain joking.

Owdie smiled as he held back his laughter. Rain laughed in front of Owdie. He felt a sense of solidarity that Owdie gave him. It is difficult to be happy together in navigating organizational tasks. And now they are like siblings born from the same womb. Owdie hoped this brotherhood would last forever.
