That night, Sam manshion...
After taking Ara for a walk, Rain came to an annual meeting with his twelve brothers. He told people to keep watch around the house so that no one would disturb Ara. Rain accidentally left Ara at home because she was worried about Ara why-why when joining a meeting. So he decided to hire people to accompany Ara and keep watch around the house.
Tonight the snowflakes still descend to decorate the entire urban corner. However, not like the usual night. Tonight there was less snow and the weather around was warmer. Maybe it's because the moon is a little different. Unlike the previous night which was so cold that it needed a fireplace to warm up.
In the manshion Sam, in front of the round table, had just finished the annual meeting of the thirteen grandchildren of the ruler of the economy. Now time has shown at ten o'clock in the evening and the meeting has just finished. Seen in the hands of each of Sam's grandchildren holds several important documents, containing the results of tonight's meeting and also work plans for the next year. One by one they said goodbye to their grandfather. However, when it was Rain's turn to say goodbye, Sam held him back.
"I want to talk to you." Sam, the old man of about eighty years old, invited Rain to speak with four eyes.
Rain nodded. He complied with his grandfather's request to talk together. The two went to the back porch to talk for a while. Unbeknownst to them, Nick turns out to be hiding behind a porch wall. He wanted to know what his grandfather and his foster brother Rain were talking about.
"Grandfather thought you were messing with your message that day." Sam opened the conversation tonight.
Both stand on the back porch of the house, accompanied by snowflakes that fall adorn the leaves of the garden. It was seen the grandfather holding his wand while turning his back to Rain. Rain was standing behind his grandfather while waiting for his grandfather to finish speaking. I don't know why the atmosphere around turned so serious.
Sam turned around, facing Rain. "Rain, why did you marry her? Is there no other woman you can marry?" ask Sam to his granddaughter.
Rain immediately realized the meaning of the conversation tonight. "Grandfather doesn't like Ara because of her origin?" Rain was calm.
"certain." Sam answered firmly. "He is still a student. Not having a job, especially a company. He's a burden to the organization." Sam says something that hurt Rain's heart.
"He's my wife, Cake. There's a lot of work now. Grandfather couldn't judge a person just by his rank or background." Rain tried to remain calm even though his heart was starting to get emotional.
Sam turned back, turning his back to Rain. "You're too blinded by love, Rain. So that your mind does not walk. You wasted Jane for a girl who had nothing." Sam insisted on his opinion.
Rain clenched both his hands. He was upset by the words of his grandfather. "What do you want Grandpa?" ask Rain directly to the core of the conversation.
Sam looked back a little. "Sep him and find a better one." Sam says.
At that moment Rain swallowed his saliva. "Maf, Cake. I can't. She's pregnant with my son." Rain refused.
Seen the look of Sam's old face that restrained irritated. "Women are cheap, Rain. You can give him money and then divorce him. It's easy for you." Grandfather forced his will.
Rain's fist almost flew to his grandfather if Rain could not remember who Sam was to him. Sam was so demeaning to women, like there was no price. Which can be played with and left behind.
Sam is abandoned by Rain, his adopted grandson. He realized that Rain was now difficult to control. Even Rain refused her request. Sam was getting upset. He felt like he had no thoughts with his adopted grandson.
Rain himself did not care what his grandfather wanted to say anymore. He left immediately after saying that to Sam. Nick who was eavesdropping on their conversation was quickly hiding so that his whereabouts were unknown. So Rain doesn't know if Nick eavesdropped on their conversation. Until finally Rain got out of the manshion and drove his car. Rain did not want to linger in the mansion of a large family.
He seems to be a slave of love now.
Nick realizes that there has been a big change in Rain. But, he could not just let his foster brother hold the throne of the organization. He began to think of a way to get rid of Rain slowly.
Nick pretended to be in the backyard. He saw his grandfather who was still there. At that moment he approached his grandfather and spoke with four eyes. Nick wants to incite Sam to hate Rain forever.
Washington DC, eleven o'clock in the evening...
Rain finally arrived home. He saw his wife sleeping on the sofa accompanied by a woman who was guarding him. Rain gestured for the woman to be quiet when she came. Rain did not want to sleep until Ara was interrupted due to her arrival.
Lovingly Rain carried Ara into the room. The woman helped carry Ara's cell phone. Then he said goodbye to Rain to return home. Coincidentally not far from the vicinity of Rain house, just a few kilometers.
Honey, are you waiting for me to come home?
Rain put Ara on the bed. He covered his wife's body with affection. He pecked his wife's forehead and sat down next to her. Suddenly Rain's tears fell down her cheeks. Rain felt sad as his grandfather's words recalled back in his mind.
He's not guilty. Our love is not wrong either. I will never divorce her. I love her so much.
She kissed Ara's hand with all her heart. Her tears also fell on Ara's palm. Rain had long been waiting for news of Ara's pregnancy. He is also ready to be a father. However, he could not accept the words of the grandfather who asked him to divorce Ara.
Rain was annoyed and wanted to fight back, but it was impossible for him to do so. Because after all Sam had lived it, so Rain could have nothing like now. It would be inappropriate for Rain to be ungrateful to the person who had worked so hard for him.
Then he brought his face closer to Ara's stomach. "My son, quickly grow up and develop in there. I can't wait to see you."
Rain said it with a hoarse and stammering voice. I don't know why he felt so sad tonight. He could no longer hold back his tears.
Rain knew what he would face if he went against his grandfather's will. But, she knows better what the duties and responsibilities of a husband are. Rain will fight as hard as he can to keep his little family out of all danger. He is not a coward who will stay silent when oppressed. Rain will definitely fight it.
