Chapter 71. Sorry about Lara

“Please, Miss.” A well-dressed and polite woman led Lara to the elevator. The woman was Walter's personal secretary. His job was to take care of everything Walter ordered and needed every day.

“Thank you,” said Lara with a sweet smile. He got into the elevator with a heart beating.

“Nona, Mr. Walter is still on the road to get here. You can wait a minute,” said the woman.

“On the road?” Lara scrunched her forehead. He thought Walter and Fabio were in the company. Lara went there to meet them and apologized directly to Fabio.

“True, Miss.”

“Then, is Mr Fabio in his room?” ask Lara to go back to make sure.

The woman shook her head. "Nothing, Miss." He stepped out of the elevator with Lara when the door opened. “Master Fabio rarely comes to this company, Miss. Only Mr. Walter comes to the company every day. That's not too long either. Just a few hours.”

“I thought I could meet with Kak Bi. It turns out there's only Walter in this company. What do I want to talk to Walter about? We were never familiar,” muttered Lara inwardly.

“Nona, the Vera. Secretary Mr. Fabio. He's the one who manages all the affairs related to Mr. Fabio.”

“Vera?” Lara is parroting again. He looked forward and noticed the woman who was standing behind him.

“Ya, Miss. Mr. Walter asked me to take you to Mr. Fabio's private room. You will be assisted by Vera during his stay in Mr Fabio's room later.”

Lara nodded. He stopped when he got closer to Vera. “What is he Vera my college friend first?” batin Lara was curious.

“Vera, this is Miss Lara. Mr. Walter asked me to escort Miss Lara to Mr. Fabio's room.”

Vera twisted her body with a very beautiful smile. The woman looked towards Walter's secretary before looking towards Lara. “Lara?” the chirps don't believe.

Lara silently looked at Vera who was now in front of her eyes was her schoolmate first. “Reacted right. Means Vera works at Kak Bi's company. Why I just found out. It was only fitting that he had been so arrogant all this time. It turns out that she works as secretary Kak Bi,” muttered Lara in the heart.

“Yes, this is Miss Lara. I still have a lot of work to do. Can you accompany Miss Lara in Mr Fabio's room until Mr Walter arrives?” 

Vera nodded slowly. “Alright,” he replied in a soft voice. He looked at Lara's face intently. “Lara, why is his name the same as fat one. But, his appearance was very much different. It is impossible for that fat lady to turn skinny in less than a year?” murmured Vera in the heart.

“Nona Lara, let's follow me,” invite Vera.

“It turns out Vera didn't recognize me. Good then. I don't need to explain anything to her,” Lara murmured inwardly. Vera takes Lara into Fabio's private room. He opened a large window near the guest sofa.

“Nona, please sit. What would you like to drink?”

Lara carved out a smile again. “What aja.”

“Alright, Miss. I'll get you a drink.” Vera is as professional as possible in front of Lara. I don't know what would happen if Vera knew that the woman in front of her eyes was the woman she had been bullied all along.

Lara looked at the room carefully. It was a lot different from the work room Alex had. Although there is no private room in the room, but the size is much wider than Alex's work room in his office. Lara looked out the window. The view there is very interesting. He moved so that he could stand in front of the large glass window.

“Nona, here's a drink.” Vera puts down the orange juice she just made for Lara. Vera does not need to leave the room, because the mini bar is in the room. Any drinks are available there.

“Thank you.”

Vera again felt something strange. The voice was similar to Lara's. But he did not dare to ask directly because it was certain that the person who could enter the workspace Fabio was not a random person.

When Vera came out, the door opened. Feeling that someone was coming and walking towards her, Lara immediately twisted her body and saw the figure. 

The woman looked at Fabio now standing in front of her. “Kak Bi ...” Only that sentence now came out of Lara's lips when she met Fabio. His lips were unable to put out many words.

“Sit,” command Fabio gently.

Lara quickly nodded her head. His heart was still in disbelief, seeing Fabio now standing before him and smiling sweetly. And obviously last night the guy looked really creepy.

“Is everything going to be okay? Did you get the card I gave you, Chubby?” 

Lara nodded softly, her heart returning to full of fear. Fabio's eyes last night reverberated in his memory. Plus now they are just the two of them in the spacious room. The atmosphere that was cold because of AC, now turned hot. Lara tucked her hair behind her ears, to reduce her grooves a bit. His head bowed deeply, and did not dare to look towards Fabio.

“You're mad at me, Chubby?” Fabio knew there was something strange about Lara's nature. Lara who he has known all along is Lara who is cheerful and smiling.

“Lara .. Lara apologize sis. Lara shouldn't have appeared in the room. Though from the beginning Kak Bi has been ngelarang,” replied Lara without daring to look.

“I forbid you from appearing in that place because I don't want you to see what you shouldn't see, Chubby ..” Fabio moved and stepped towards the window. Put both of his hands into his pocket and stared intently at the cityscape. “The view in the room was never beautiful. I don't want you to keep thinking about what you saw in there. The room was cold and full of blood. Such a thing is not worth seeing by a woman like you.”

Lara stared at Fabio's back, not knowing what else to do. Since then Fabio has not answered the words of apology that was spoken from Lara's lips. Either the man has forgiven Lara or not.

“Kak, Kak Bi should know that Lara entered the room because Greta had called Lara and told Lara a photo of the man who had brought Kak Alex. The man's face was similar to Walter.” Fabio was shocked to hear Lara's words. Now he must be extra careful to hide Alex's whereabouts so that Lara never knows where the man is. “But it looks like Lara just misunderstood it.”

Lara got up from her seat and stepped slowly. Closer towards Fabio's body which was still in a position to back him.

“Kak Bi .. sorryin Lara.”

Slowly Fabio turned his body towards Lara. He looked at Lara who was now looking down with a guilty face. “You're crying again?” Fabio lifted Lara's chin and rubbed her tears gently. “Why are you crying, Chubby?” Fabio asked softly in a voice filled with guilt.

Lara looks as if she is holding back her cries.”Lara doesn't want Bi to be angry. Now Lara is a kara. Only Kak Bi that Lara has.” Lata regulated her breathing. I don't know why the more the story feels increasingly crowded. His lips trembled as he wanted to continue his sentence. “Lara .. Lara.”

Fabio felt more guilty. He put his hands to the left and right of Lara's ears. “I will never leave you, Chubby,” replied Fabio with a serious and earnest face.

“Appointment?”

Fabio nodded. “Appointments.”

“No anger again?” ask Lara to make sure. Fabio simply shook his head with a smiling lip.

Lara started to smile. The woman sprang into Fabio's arms without permission. It seemed that the fear that had filled his mind had disappeared. “Thank you Brother Bi.” 

Fabio closed his eyes to regulate his heartbeat. He did not want Lara to hear that now her heart is pounding very fast. Not long after, Lara took off her embrace.

“Kak Bi, but it looks like Lara has misunderstood Walter. Lara also has to apologize to Walter.”

“Mistake?” Fabio frowning.

“Yes. Lara thought Walter kidnapped Alex's brother. It turns out Alex's brother wasn't kidnapped. Last time Lara met with Alex,” Lara replied with her innocent face.

Fabio looked surprised to hear the explanation Lara said. “You met Alex Moritz?”
