Chapter 64. Feudatory

Walter was running fast when the man he was after tried to escape. The man was holding his firearm. He didn't want his enemy to get away with it. Walter is determined to capture the enemy alive before dragging him in front of Fabio.

On the roof of the mall building there is a place for helicopters. The man who was now in Walter's pursuit ran to the elevator because he wanted to escape to the roof of the building. Walter himself still did not give up. He got into the elevator next to him to catch the enemy.

When the elevator doors opened, it was quiet up there. There was nothing but a cold wind. The sky is orange-colored a sign that soon night will come. With careful steps, Walter searches for the man. He was sure that the person he was looking for would be around.

“You looking for me, Mister?” A woman stood with a smile on her lips. The woman was holding a firearm and ready to fire. Walter turned his body and pointed his gun. He was shocked when he saw a woman standing there. Not the man he was chasing.

“Who are you? What are you here for?” ask Walter while stalling. 

The woman stepped forward. He was not at all afraid that now there was a firearm pointed at his body. “I'm here because I want to help my Boss to finish off your boss!” the woman answered with a confident look. He thought it would be easy to beat Walter to never meet Fabio.

Walter realizes that this is all a trap so he can't protect Fabio. The man immediately threw a punch towards the evil woman who was now in front of his eyes. However, the woman quickly avoided him. He did not forget to avenge Walter's actions by giving him a kick in the leg.

Great fights happen. Walter fought hard to beat the woman so that he could help Fabio who may be this second is also struggling to save himself and Lara.

In the parking lot, Fabio takes Lara into the car. The man looked to the right and to the left to make sure there was nothing strange there. He immediately entered after making sure it was safe. After sitting behind the seat, Fabio immediately drove his car at high speed.

“Where is Walter? Is he in danger?” muttered Fabio with a worried face.

Lara looked towards the window. The woman was again shocked when she saw Alex standing while looking at her face. But this time Lara did not want to say a word. He was afraid that everything he saw was just a hallucination. 

“Lara, can you drive?” 

“Can kak,” replied Lara quickly.

Fabio immediately stopped his car on the side of the road. The man looked at Lara's face so seriously. “Relove to the car ahead there.”Fabio pointed at the car that had stopped at the edge of the road. The car is also part of his property. “I will always be near that car. But, for the sake of saving you. I should let you ride in the car in front.”

“What's up brother?” ask Lara worried.

Fabio held both of Lara's cheeks. He looked at the woman with an unbearable look. “Go to the Alexander hotel and show the gun to the man standing near the entrance wearing a white suit. You'll be safe. Hotel is 10 kilometers from here.”

“But, Brother.”

“Now!” fabio said firmly.

Lara didn't dare to say much. He got out of the car and ran to the front car. After Lara got in and drove her car, Fabio immediately drove her car as well. The man escorted Lara's car in front.

“I can't get you involved. It's very risky,” Fabio murmured in the heart.

In the car, Lara looks unsettled. He no longer concentrated on driving his car. There is a feeling of worry and fear. He didn't want to get Fabio to shit. But, Lara was also unwilling to dispute what Fabio said. 

“What really happened?” lara murmured. He increased the speed of his car so that he could soon arrive at the hotel that was said by Fabio. After Lara turned her car into the hotel, Fabio continued on his way. Lara stopped her car for a moment before sighing. “Kak Bi. Hope he's okay.”

Lara immediately went into the parking lot. He got out of the car and stepped very fast. After she managed to find the man Fabio had said to be, Lara immediately approached the man. With a disjointed breath, Lara tried to say something.

“Kak Bi.  Brother Bi.” Lara seems to have trouble talking. The woman ran a considerable distance between the parking lot and the hotel entrance.

“Kak Bi? Who's Miss?” ask the man confused.

Lara immediately opened her bag. He pulled out a firearm that made the man instantly alert. “Fabio Cassano's. She gave this to me and asked me to meet you,” Lara said with a steady nauseous breath.

The expression on the man's face changed. He picked up the weapon Lara was holding and checked the identification tag embedded there. “Nona, come with me.” The man gave the firearm to Lara again. He took Lara into the hotel.

The man was part of Fabio's mafia squad. He was assigned to be at the door of the hotel to maintain the hotel's security. But, in addition to keeping hotel guests he was also tasked to help Fabio if he was in a precarious state like now.

The man took his cell phone and contacted someone. He wanted to tell his other colleagues that Fabio was in danger and now there was a woman they had to protect. Maybe their lives are at stake if they fail to look after Lara.

Lara is still thinking about Fabio. He could not calm down again after knowing that Fabio was a big boss mafia. “Master, do you know Mr Fabio?” ask Lara slowly.

“Mr Fabio is a good person, Miss,” replied the man with a smile.

“Master, I'll be fine here. If Brother Bi is now in danger, please help him. I don't mind staying alone,” said Lara with a pleading face. 

The man could only smile. After the elevator opens he takes Lara to the room he had prepared for Lara. Before Lara showed up, Walter had already reserved two rooms for Lara and Fabio. 

“Nona, this is your room key.” The man gave Lara a key. Lara received the key with a doubtful feeling. It was very desirable that he looked for Fabio's whereabouts to make sure the man was okay. However, he did not have any ability. Lara realized, if the presence would only make Fabio in trouble.

“Nona,” said the man again when Lara just stood daydreaming.

“Thank you,” said Lara. He received the key and opened the door immediately. 

“Nona.” The man prevented Lara from getting inside. 

“Ya.”

“You better not open the door for anyone,”, the man warned.

Lara nodded. However, he had not been able to continue his sentence, all of a sudden.

DUARR

A bullet landed on the man's right temple. Lara was shocked not to play see it. Even Lara's face was exposed to the man's blood. 

The man immediately fell. Lara looked to the left. He saw a gunman standing there with a firearm. Lara went inside immediately. He was very, very scared. Lara locked the door of the room before going deeper. His body trembled violently from fear.

“Kak Bi, please Lara,” murmur is soft.
