Chapter 49. Their Debates

Lara chose to be quiet. He'd rather enjoy Alex and Fiona's debate tonight without intervening.

“This woman. He could have appeared so soon. Though I still give him time to have fun enjoying the money from the sale of the company's documents,” muttered Lara inwardly.

“Alex, I want you back to me!” said Fiona. The woman felt like she had no self-respect anymore. He had never really loved Alex. But, when the man turned around and preferred Lara. That love appeared in his heart. Now Fiona no longer thinks about treasure. He just wants Alex to come back to him. Love and adore her as before.

“That's impossible, Fiona. Lara and I are married. We want to improve our household,” replied Alex. His embrace on Lara's waist grew tighter.

“If you don't want to come back to me, I'll kill myself!” threaten Fiona's.

“As far as you are. But do that behind my back. Because I don't want to get involved in that suicide.” Alex looked at Hana's face and smiled slightly. “It looks like you guys are working together. Fiona, do you want to know where I got that video?” 

Hana looks pale. If only he could escape, perhaps the woman had already escaped this second as well. “Wire! Mr. Alex will definitely tell Miss Fiona that I am the one who sent the video,” Hana muttered inwardly.

“Alex, I don't care who sent the video. I haven't sold the documents. I still save it.” Fiona moved closer. He wants to persuade Alex to forgive him and get back into a relationship with him. “Alex, this is indeed Bram's son. I'll abort this kid if you don't like it. Most importantly, you want to come back to me.” Fiona tries to hold Alex's hand, but the man dodges.

“Enough, Fiona! The relationship between us is over. I hope you can accept all these decisions. About the documents, I will forgive you and will not drag you to the police station if you promise not to give them to another company.”

“NO!” shout Fiona. “I want you back to me!”

Lara sighed. Although actually the spectacle in front of him was very pleasant, but Lara did not want to linger watching such a fight. What else had sounded the sentence that Fiona was willing to abort the child in the womb. That made Lara unbearable.

“Sister Alex, let's go,” take Lara with a spoiled voice.

“Good, Honey. I'm sorry for bringing you in such a difficult situation,” replied Alex warmly. Lara just nodded. However, when the two of them both stepped Fiona wanted to slap Lara in the face. But the woman's hand was successfully held by Alex. Even without hesitation Alex reciprocates Fiona's actions.

PLACKS

A loud slap landed on Fiona's cheek. It causes pain that is not just on the cheeks. But in the deepest of hearts. Disappointment and heartache merge into one. Fiona didn't think Alex would have it on her.

“You dare slap me?” ask Fiona not to believe it.

“I can even do more than that if you dare to touch Lara!” answer Alex. He looked at Lara's face. “Honey, get in the car first yes. I need to talk to Fiona for a minute.”

Lara nodded. He glances at Fiona's face before getting into the car. Without speaking, he was satisfied to see Fiona. Alex looks at Lara's back until she gets in the car. After Lara walked in and sat sweetly inside, Alex looked at Fiona's face with a piercing look.

“Fiona, this is the last one. I don't want to see you in the future!” 

“Alex, what's my fault? I'm not cheating on you with Bram. He forced me to serve him. I was threatened. Do you know?”

Fiona widened her eyes. He threw an accusatory look at Hana. “Hana, is it true that Alex said?”

Hana hesitated. “I'm sorry, Miss.”

“Hana, you-”

“I have to go. You can solve your problems with Hana now. That certainly doesn't involve my name.” Alex took a few steps before stopping again. “Oh yes, Fiona. Tonight I will announce Lara in front of the media. Everyone will know that Lara is my wife. It's best that from now on you no longer appear before me because I don't want others to misunderstand.” Alex got in the car. The man drove his car without any guilt at all.

Fiona cried bitterly when she heard the painful words coming out of Alex's mouth. He fell down and cried.

“Nona, forgive me,” said Hana. Fiona looked at Hana's face and pushed Hana hard until she fell down. “Go, don't approach me. You're a traitor, Hana. Traitor!” Fiona grabbed her own hair. Hannah stood back up. 

“It looks like I can't work with Miss Fiona anymore. I'd better take the documents secretly and sell them myself. That way, I can make a lot of money. While in the eyes of the law, the name of Miss Fiona who stole,” muttered Hana in the heart. He immediately left Fiona regardless of the woman's current circumstances.

Lara was silent as she imagined Alex's treatment of Fiona. Suddenly her heart felt so sorry that it had the desire to help Fiona at this moment. “Fiona is pregnant. His soul was deeply shaken. I love him. Alex is very cruel. He's the only heartless man I've ever met,” Lara murmured inwardly.

“Darling, why silence?” Alex glanced at Lara's face before looking ahead.

“Lara ...” Lara was silent when she saw the hordes of people filling the streets in front of the exit. Alex stopped his car because it was stuck in front. 

“What happened?” alex is upset. The man pressed his horn many times for the front car to go.

“It looks like there was an accident,” replied Lara. He opened the car glass to ask security who happened to be near his car. “Pak, what's in front?”

“There was a suicide, Miss.”

“Suicide?” Lara frowning.

“Ya, a young woman jumped off the parking floor.”

Deg.

Lara sculpting. “Fiona? Is she Fiona?”

“No dear, it can't be Fiona,” replied Alex. Alex closed the car window and drove back. The man did not care at all about the horde of people who were now surrounding the corpse of a woman who had just jumped from the top floor.
