Chapters 110. Fiona's Tomb

Lara stands in front of Fiona's grave. The woman had just placed the flower she was carrying in front of the tombstone bearing Fiona's name. While looking at Fiona's grave, the woman tried to forgive the mistake she had made. A beautiful smile was engraved on Lara's lips when she was able to forgive him.

"More." Alex just got there. The man himself was initially confused as to why Lara had invited him to meet at the funeral. What else is in Fiona's grave. Obviously Fiona was the one who had hurt Lara.

Lara turned her body and looked at Alex. The woman looked at Alex expressionlessly to make Alex guess what exactly was the purpose of Lara asking her to meet in this place? Is Lara gonna frame him?

"In that day, Greta had said something very important. I think I should tell you so you know why Greta sacrificed that way."

"What did Greta say?" alex asked impatiently.

"Greta said you weren't part of the Moritz family. Because of a mistake, ma'am. Moritz contains you. But, all the families never had a problem with it at first. But, over time Mr. Moritz began to make a distance with you. Greta overhears a quarrel between Mr. Moritz and Mrs. Moritz once said that you are not their flesh and blood. Greta did not tell me the details of the story. He simply said, Your life has suffered a long time ago. Always be blamed. Never considered to exist. The sacrifice he made last night because he loved you so much. He doesn't want to until you get hurt until you get hurt. You better not waste the sacrifices that Greta has made. He's not doing all that without purpose."

"I'll change if you come back to me" Alex said. "I promise to change. I don't even care about my status in the eyes of the Moritz family. I only care about you Lara!"

"Sorry, it's not the same as it used to be. The broken glass will not be able to be formed again as before. We won by no match," replied Lara.

"We're paired. We were married once. Lara, come back to me."

"I thought you could talk well. But, I was wrong. You said you've changed? How can you get another woman married in front of the grave of the woman you once slept with?"

Alex was determined to hear Lara's answer. The man looked at Greta's grave with mute lips.

"Wait!" yell Alex. That made Lara stop again. He looked at Alex alley's face when it was not too far away from his standing position.

"If only once. Did you ever really love me? I want to hear it straight from your lips, Lara."

Lara was silent for a while. The woman looked at Alex intently before turning her face the other way.

"I've fallen in love with the wrong guy. My love was so great back then that it made me the dumbest woman in the world."

"Why don't you want to repeat everything from the beginning again Lara? You once loved me and I love you so much now."

"Because you just deserve to be past and lesson in your life. You are not fit to be the future!" sahut Lara relax.

"You love Fabio?"

"Just be clear. Even his love is so much greater when compared to when I fell in love with you first."

Alex laughs. The man held onto Lara's wrist tightly. "What if we die together? Doesn't that mean that our love lives on?"
