Chapter 46. Lara's Smile

A bright morning. The blue sky made an incredible spirit for Lara. The woman had already arrived at the Moritz family-owned company. In his hand was a black tote bag containing his important items.

Lara keeps her arrival from Alex. The woman wants to make a plan before Alex arrives at the company. Lara is forced to sell her status as Alex's wife in order to easily fit into Alex's workspace. When she arrived at Alex's study, Lara looked uncomfortable. He recalled the hot scenes Alex and Fiona had done a few months ago.

"I didn't know to be happy or sad when remembering their scandal. But for sure, without that incident I could not have become what I am today" Lara murmured inwardly.

Lara sits in Alex's office chair. The woman noticed the files arranged on the table. The blue map located at the top of the pile is Lara's main concern. The woman smiled with satisfaction at the file she had prepared already there.

"alright. The next plan, I have to make Alex sign this file without reading the contents inside" Lara murmured inwardly.

Lara frowned when she saw the safe located not far from the workbench was open. The woman got out of the chair and approached the safe. The safe looks empty. Lara had no idea what was inside the safe. When Lara held the safe door, Alex suddenly went inside. The man was shocked to see Lara was already in his study. In an instant, however, his face looked happy.

"Lara, why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Alex walked up to Lara. At that moment he did not realize that his safe had been broken by Fiona.

"Sister Alex, what's inside this safe? Why is the safe open?" asked Lara with her innocent face.

Alex scrunched his forehead. The man walked quickly closer to the safe. His face flushed red to see the safe open and the contents inside were gone.

"That document!" said Alex.

"Documents? What document?" ask Lara.

"Important document Lara. My company could go bankrupt if the paperwork falls into the hands of another company" Alex replied with a panicked face. The man took the phone and contacted someone. "Get into my room!" Alex slams the phone. The man sat in the chair with a frustrated face. "Who dares to steal that document!" talk to Alex again.

Lara doesn't care at all. The woman glanced at the documents she had prepared. "It seems the timing is not right. If I asked her for an autograph, she would definitely be suspicious and read the contents of the document," Lara murmured inwardly.

Not long after, several men came inside. Alex immediately explained what had happened. One of the men immediately came out to pick up the cctv footage. Lara decided to sit on the sofa and watch what really happened from a distance.

"Sir, we have managed to find out who the document thief is" said the man dressed securuty.

"Who?" Alex looks impatient.

"Miss Fiona, sir. Even the incident just happened before Miss Lara came in," replied the man again.

"That woman!" aspersons Alex. He hit the table with an annoyed face. "Aargh!"

Lara got off the couch. The woman approached Alex to continue the plan she had prepared. This time, however, he had additional plans. Lara wants Fiona and Alex to have a big fight and get one of them to go to jail.

"You can go" Lara ordered.

"Good, Miss." They left immediately after hearing Lara's orders.

"Sister Alex, don't be sad donk. Lara so can't bear to see Alex's sister like this," persuaded Lara.

"Son Alex wants to stay with Lara?" Lara looked at Alex's face intently to make the man abandon his intention to leave.

"Lara, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have involved you in this."

"Sister Alex, Lara knows Alex's sister is dizzy again. But, isn't there a lot of work that Alex's gonna have to get done today?"

Alex stood up and pulled Lara's hand. The man carved a smile at Lara. "Thank you, baby. You're really the coolant that makes my heart calm again."

"Sister Alex can report Fiona to the police. Isn't the evidence clear?"

Alex was silent for a moment. The man seemed doubtful. However, he also wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to earn Lara's heart again.

"Good idea."

"Sister Alex can leave this matter to Lara. Let Lara take care of it, how?"

Alex rubbed Lara's cheek with a gentle touch. "Thank you dear. Papa never chose wrong. If I had realized early on that you were the right wife for me. Maybe I won't waste you in the first place, Lara."

Lara smiled meaningfully. "This man is very good at seducing women" Lara murmured inwardly.

On the other hand, Fiona is hiding with a heart that is not careless. It felt like he slapped Lara in the face when he saw her arrive at Alex's office. However, the moment is very inaccurate. He can be found out if he meets Lara.

"After I've made enough money and seen Alex's destruction, I'll go to Lara and give the woman a calculation.

Fiona looks at the taxi that stopped in front of her. In the taxi was Hana. Fiona immediately went inside and they went out of nowhere.

Lara who was in the car and watched Fiona secretly could only smile happily. He opened the document that Alex had signed with a glowing face.

"I can finally get it all done in quick time. I hope there's no more obstruction."

"Miss, are we following Fiona now?"

"No. I want to see him after he destroys Alex's company. That way, we don't have to bother, do we?"

"You're using Fiona, Miss?'

"It's actually out of plan. Because all of Fiona's plans are also profitable for us. Yes, we support it, "lara replied casually.

"To the main house of the Moritz family. I want to get everyone in that house to leave the house!"
