Chapter 42. Disconnecting

Alex steps inside Fiona's house. The man had a spare key so whenever he wanted to enter, he could do it. Even Alex's clothes were more in that house than in the Moritz family's main house.

Fiona got down and stood at the end of the stairs. The woman carved a smile seeing that Alex had already arrived at her house. Fiona's welcome looks so warm. Like someone who hasn't seen his girlfriend in a long time.

"Dear, I miss you so much. Where have you been this whole day? You can't call either" whined Fiona. The sexy woman immediately put her hands around Alex's neck. He wants to hang out with his girlfriend.

"I'm busy!" Alex takes Fiona's hand off. The man walked towards the sofa while loosening his tie. Usually she would immediately kiss Fiona and take the woman to the room. But not this time. Alex looks cold to make Fiona more anxious.

"Is the company in a big deal?" ask Fiona.

"No!"

"Then, why is your face tangled like that?" Fiona sat down next to Alex. The woman did not give up. He fought hard for Alex to get back into his seduction.

"There's something I want to say, Fiona." Alex looked at Fiona's face with a look so serious that it finally made Fiona become agitated.

"NO!" Fiona stand. "I don't want us to break up!" reject Fiona. He grabbed Alex's arm. "I've been in love to die with you Alex. You never thought about my feelings. Why would you do all this to me?"

Alex fell silent. He rubbed his own face with his hands. Alex doesn't know what else to say. The love relationship between them has been long enough. Fiona is the only woman who knows how hard she is to live. Alex has to choose, too. He didn't want to lose Lara.

"Give me a chance. I can turn out to be more beautiful than that woman. I can lose weight too. But, don't leave me. I beg you," said Fiona still with an unacceptable face.

"Fiona, I'm sorry. But I can't be with you anymore. About this house, I leave it to you. I'll take care of his papers to fall into your hands. Let's just say this is my apology."

"I'm sorry, Fiona. But, I have to go. You can choose. Want to abort this child or keep him. But whatever the decision. I can't be with you anymore." Alex steps away from Fiona.

"Alex, don't go!" shout Fiona. But Alex doesn't care. The man just left without caring about Fiona's screams and sobs. "Alex! Back ...."

Fiona fell on the floor. The woman looked down lamenting her miserable life. She has now lost a man who once adored and treated her like a queen. He even lost a man who was the biological father of the child he was carrying.

"Well! It's all because of that woman. I'll teach him a lesson. I will make him suffer. I won't let them be happy on top of my suffering!" fiona's curse is full of revenge.

From behind the window, Hana laughed happily. He was satisfied to see the suffering that Fiona was now feeling. Not long ago, he cursed his former employer.
