Chapter 43. Dinner

Her night. Lara was getting ready in the room. It had been hours that the woman had tried out suitable clothes for dinner with Fabio. But Lara felt that nothing suited her. She changed her dress again until her makeup almost faded.

"Which one. Which dress should I wear? It's too open. It's too long. It's too short!" Lara sat on the bed. He breathed a rough breath. Suddenly she remembered that there was a dress she had bought and had never worn. That dress was her dream dress. Lara did not expect to be able to buy the dress at the famous boutique in the city.

"Is this the right moment to wear this dress?" Lara smiled sweetly. She immediately changed the dress she was wearing with the dress. When she finished, Lara stood in front of the mirror. He wants to make sure that she looks beautiful tonight.

When Lara had not finished styling her hair, suddenly heard someone's footsteps. It scared Lara. He remembered that after Alex left, he had locked his apartment. But now, the sound of the shoes sounded very close like someone had entered his apartment.

Lara immediately put down the comb she had held and stepped into the door. Lara wanted to check for herself who actually dared to enter the apartment secretly.

When the door was wide open, Lara saw Fabio sitting on the sofa. The man looks very relaxed. He watched the movie that was on the television screen without caring about Lara's confused face at this time.

"Sister Bi. Why did you get in here?" Lara walked over. He sees Walter there too but the man chooses to stand by the entrance.

Fabio looked towards Lara. He took a moment when he saw the appearance of Lara is so stunning. "This is my apartment" replied Fabio casually.

Lara was embarrassed. The woman looked down and dared not look Fabio in the face. "I'm sorry Lara, Brother."

Fabio looked at Walter before replying. "I'm sorry?" Fabio moved off the sofa. "Chubby, why are you so weak? A little bit sorry. Like this makes you easy to get hit. You must have principles. Don't be weak and feel guilty constantly."

Lara raised her head. "What does Kak Bi mean? It's true this is Kak Bi's apartment. Then, how did Lara argue with Kak Bi's words?"

Fabio sighed. He chose not to continue this debate. "Are you ready?" Fabio noticed Lara's appearance again. Wrapped in a white dress that is below the knee, again Lara looks very beautiful.

"Already, Brother. But Lara wants to grab a bag first in the room." Fabio nodded. The man looked around the apartment before saying anything. "After I get back, make sure the stuff isn't in this room anymore. I don't want Lara to know that I'm a mobster!"

"Good, Boss." Walter looked down respectfully.

Lara came out of the room with a bag in her hand. "Come, sister" asked Lara. Fabio simply nodded before giving way to Lara. They leave the apartment immediately. Walter immediately did his job. He must be able to carry the weapons in the apartment out before Lara finds him first and has strange thoughts about Fabio.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, the arrival of Fabio and Lara is greeted by the chef who cooks the food at the restaurant. The female chef looked very familiar with Fabio. He threw a smile before greeting Fabio and Lara.

"Good night, sir. It's nice to meet you. You haven't been to our restaurant for a long time" said the beautiful chef.

Lara noticed the chef's appearance from toe to head. "It's hard to believe. How can a chef be as beautiful as a model? The skin is smooth and soft. Is she good at cooking?" muttered Lara doubtfully.

"It's nice to meet you, Cora. Is there an empty seat for me?" ask Fabio.

"Thank you, Cora." Cora takes Fabio and Lara inside the restaurant.

Fabio and Lara go together. Cora took the two of them to a chair away from the other guests. The room is more private.

The two maids pulled out chairs and let Fabio and Lara sit there. They throw friendly smiles.

"Please, Sir."

"Thank you" Fabio said.

Lara sat down opposite Fabio. After sitting down, he noticed the visitors in the restaurant. Several chairs near Lara and Fabio were seen discussing something. They look very cool. There were two children beside them. They were like a small family that looked very happy. Lara envied. He wanted to be in the position of the child.

"Chubby, what are you looking at?" Fabio frowned.

"I like to see kids. I hope they don't experience what I feel. Lost both parents, when I still needed them."

"Sometimes destiny seems unfair. But that's what life is like. Sometimes happy sometimes sad."

"Sir Bi, if Lara knows. What's the reason you want to help Lara get to Lara like now?"

"There's one thing I want to show you." Fabio took his phone and showed a photo of a large man. "Who do you think he is?"

"Then, Brother Bi went on a diet until it could be like now?"

"Even I've been in the hospital many times" Fabio replied with a small laugh.

While Fabio and Lara are still chatting, Fiona suddenly appears. Without saying a word, Fiona suddenly throws the water in the glass right in Lara's face.
