Chapter 22. Lara Report

When she got home, Lara immediately went inside. It is still clear that her eyes are swollen and red from crying too much. Lara can't keep this matter alone. He wants Mr. Moritz to know what Alex has been doing. Even after marriage.

Upon arriving home, Lara stopped her footsteps. He saw Mr and Mrs. Moritz sat on the sofa in the living room. They seem to be discussing something. There's laughter there. At the table there was tea and pieces of cake to accompany them in conversation.

"Father," said Lara.

Mr. Moritz raised his head. He frowned looking at Lara's red and swollen eyes from crying a lot.

"Lara, what's going on? Why are you crying like this?" Mr. Moritz got off the couch. Although Ny. Moritz is still on the couch. He looked at Lara with a dislike look.

"Sir Alex, Pa ...." Lara could not continue her sentence. Her heart ached every time she imagined what Alex and Fiona were doing in the office.

"North. Calm down." Mr. Moritz took Lara to sit down. However, Lara refused. The woman shook her head. "Lara, what's wrong? Tell me the same papa. What did Alex do until you cried like this?"

"Lara, you're spoiled. Mama heard from Greta that Lara went to the office to bring Alex lunch. Most also Lara was angry with Alex for humiliating her in the office" she said. Moritz.

"They're making out in Alex's room, Pa. Their relationship has gone that far. What if Fiona gets pregnant? How's Nasip Lara?"

"Mama?" Lara did not expect that her mother-in-law was also on Fiona's side. Even Greta is.

"Ma, Papa never got in the way of Alex's happiness. Papa just wants Alex to live happily with a woman who deserves to be with him. Not like Fiona. That woman is like a snake, Ma. He wants to be with Alex because Alex is rich. A woman like her would've left Alex when Alex was tough."

"That's just papa's excuse. It's true that from the beginning you never approved of Fiona and Alex."

On the other hand, Alex and Fiona are in one of the malls for shopping. Alex succeeds in making large companies that exist abroad to cooperate with their companies. Not long after, Fiona takes Alex to the cashier. He asked Alex to pay for all the items he had chosen. "After this I want to buy shoes," whined Fiona.

"All right" Alex replied. He took out a card and gave it to the cashier. The man frowned slightly at Fiona's out-of-bounds groceries. But, how else. Fiona will get angry and sulky if she does not grant her request.

"Sorry, Sir. Is there another card? This card can't."

Alex widened both eyes. He gave me another card. However, after checking the results are the same. Alex's card can't be made to pay for Fiona's groceries.

"Alex, don't embarrass me like this. Just give me the cash."

Alex took a breath. "Since when do I hold cash?" protest in a whispering voice.

"Alex, why are you quiet? Pay up!" force Fiona.

Alex put his phone in his pocket. "Fiona, let's postpone the purchase first" Alex persuaded.

"Snoooooooo?" Fiona looks embarrassed. He looked at the person who was now looking at him with a contemptuous look. "You let me down, Alex!" Fiona throws all her groceries in Alex's face and runs away. The woman decides to go home by taxi rather than having one car with Alex.

Alex himself quoted clothes strewn on the floor. A woman helps Alex pick up one by one the clothes.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, sir."

Alex snarled in his heart. He wanted to go home and get angry. The man did not accept being humiliated like this by his own biological father.
