Chapter 48. Unexpected pick-up

Lara sat in Alex's room. The room is still the same. Paint color. Prabotnya. Even the carpet that Lara used to sleep on was still down below. Lara frowned when she saw the carpet lying on the floor near the bed. She recalled what she had experienced after her marriage.

Those bad memories Lara remembered until now. Even just sleeping on a soft bed is not allowed. Lara rubbed the soft bedsheet she was now sitting on. Suddenly the woman dropped her body and closed her eyes. 

“Nona, since you left the main house of the Moritz family. Fiona never showed up in that house again. Even Mr. Alex rarely comes home. Mr. Alex often sleeps in hotels. He came home only to change clothes before finally leaving again. The room was uninhabited. Even Mr. Alex is more often at home after he married you.”

Lara opened both her eyes. The words uttered by one of the former servants who had worked in the house returned to his memory. Lara moved up and left the bed. He wanted to go to the guest room to see his belongings. After finding the item she was looking for, Lara would return home to the apartment.

Lara exits Alex's room and steps down the stairs. There's not much Lara wants to see as long as she's on the second floor. Lara came down the stairs quickly. He doesn't want to see Alex in this house. When she arrived downstairs, Lara stopped for a moment when she saw that the house was now quiet. The atmosphere feels so different. He had seen the waiter pass by. Someone is cleaning the house. There are also busy people in the kitchen. 

“It turns out like this the way people money oppress weak people. In an instant, he could change someone's nationality,” muttered Lara in the heart. He immediately entered the guest room.

After arriving in the room, Lara saw all her things neatly arranged inside there. Lara was shocked at first. He had thought his things would be piled up in one place in a mess. What he saw was not the same as what he thought.

“What did Greta do all this?” lara said she couldn't believe it. 

Although clearly the room was never inhabited. But the room was very clean and clean. There is not the slightest dust attached. Lara's books, bags and some valuables were neatly arranged on the table.

Lara stepped into the closet. When the closet was open, there were many clothes belonging to Lara hanging there. It's not just Lara's stuff. But the clothes that he had bought with the money that Alex had loved were also still in the closet. Lara picked up one of the clothes and led her to the mirror. 

Lara put the dress on her body and looked at her appearance in the mirror. “What used to be my body this big?” lara said she couldn't believe it. Actually until this moment Lara still considers herself fat. It's just the difference he no longer feels difficulty when sitting and wants to stand.

“While now Brother Alex says he loves me, but I know he doesn't sincerely love me. He's a guy who likes a woman just for being physical. It's not that his heart really fell in love with me. Tonight, I'm going to make Alex's party even more festive. I make sure tonight's party will be the most memorable party he will remember in his lifetime.”

Time passes so quickly. Alex stood in front of the mirror to check her appearance. Tonight the man wants to look perfect in front of Lara. A gray suit with a white shirt was Alex's choice tonight. He wanted to look very handsome in front of Lara. The clothes he wore were also ordered from famous boutiques at fantastic prices.

Some of the employees from the boutique seemed busy helping Alex. Alex accidentally does not return home and chooses to change his clothes in a boutique located not too far from Lara's apartment. He won't be late to pick up Lara tonight. 

“Master, it's done,” said the boutique employee who has since helped Alex get ready.

“After the party is over, I will take Lara to the hotel room that I have specially booked. I even prepared a special surprise for him there. I'm sure, Lara will definitely be happy and admire me.” Alex got in the car. The man kept thinking about Lara as he drove forward. In Alex's mind, tonight will be his first night with Lara. A happy night that he had been dreaming of.

Upon arrival at Lara's apartment, Alex goes upstairs. He looks impatient. His steps were in a hurry. Alex stood up and held back his footsteps when he saw Lara just coming out of her apartment room. As Alex thought, Lara looks so beautiful tonight.

“Honey,” greet Alex.

Lara tilted her head and looked towards Alex. His eyebrows intertwined to see Alex was already in front of his eyes. “Sister Alex, how can it be here?”

“I want to pick up my wife. Is that wrong?” alex said confidently.

Lara was silent for a moment. He had no idea that Alex would appear before him like this. In fact, before arriving at the location of the party there were still many matters that Lara wanted to settle.

“Not at all wrong, Brother. Lara's glad Alex's sister is here to pick Lara up, "lara's lie with a convincing face.

Alex immediately grabbed Lara's slender waist. Tonight he was very, very amazed to see the appearance of Lara who was so beautiful and sexy. Even many times when compared to Fiona.

“You're very pretty tonight, Darling.”

Alex kisses Lara's cheek without excuse. Lara clenched her right hand until it turned white. He wanted to throw a slap in the man's face. But Lara did not want her plan to fail. Therefore he tried to suppress the anger that had risen to the crown.

“Sister Alex, let's go,” take Lara. He didn't want Alex to kiss him on the face again. It was disgusting to Lara.

Upon arriving at the parking lot, Lara and Alex are shocked by Fiona's presence. The woman stood in front of Alex's car. She was not alone, there was Hana beside the woman. Hana looks scared. It seemed like the woman was there too because of the force.

“Fiona, how dare you appear before me after what you did to my company!” ketus Alex doesn't like it.
