The Married With Sugar Daddy

The Married With Sugar Daddy
Will you Marry me?

"Hey." David greeted in surprise as he walked into the room.

"Hi." I smiled at him.

"I didn't know you were here. I thought you'd be at your parents' house."

"I can come back if you don't want me here. "

"No, no. That's not what I meant. I thought, you don't want to be here for a while, I just don't know if you're planning to go back." David said as he walked to where I was sitting on the bed.

"I told you I'd be back. I never said I'd be gone forever." I answered and then stood up.

"I'm glad you're here now. I miss you." David said as he took my face in his hand.

"I miss you too." I told him before his lips were on mine.

"I'm so sorry about everything that's happened." David started when we pulled each other out of our kisses.

"Don't worry about that, David. Everything is already glued." I smiled at him.

"I'm happy." David smiled back. "What do you think about leaving tomorrow?"

"Go?"

"Yes, I want to take you out to dinner together. It's been a long time since we've both dated." David said to me.

"Dating huh?" I smiled at him. "What about the kids?"

"Don't worry about them. They're gonna be staying with their aunt tomorrow night." David said to me. "So, what do you think? Dinner tomorrow night?"

"Yes" I nodded with a smile. "I like that."

Her night...

"It's so good." I smiled at David as we sat around the table.

"So, you admit that this dinner date was a good idea?" David smiled back.

"Yes, I think after everything that's happened over the last few weeks, this is a good way to fix things."

"I think so too." David said as he took my hand. "What do you think we're walking to the pier?"

"I think that's another good idea. The pier is always beautiful at night." I said when David and I got up.

"You know, when you left the house the other day, I thought you weren't coming back. I thought that..." David said to me as he walked along the pier.

"I told you I'm not leaving forever. You should have given me more room by then. When I say something you have to believe me."

"I trust you so much baby, but considering everything that has happened, Aleah gave you hell and then I did the same thing, I accused you of having an affair. I'm so sorry for everything Naomi did."

"David, I told you to stop apologizing." I told him.

"I should..." David responded. "It's the only way to tell you I'm serious. I thought I'd lose you when you left. I don't want to lose you, Naomi. I didn't think I could tell you this before, but I honestly don't want to lose you."

"You won't lose me, David. I'm not going anywhere."

"I really hope so, because I want to tell you something, and I don't want you to get scared and run away." David said to me as he stopped walking.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"We've been together for almost two years. I don't know if you think it's new, but I feel like I've known you for longer and I want to be with you longer than that. I know we have minor problems and obstacles in our relationship, but I'm sure we can solve them if we try. I know that you don't get along well with Aleah because he could have given you a bit of bad luck but, I hope we can finish it one day. You've become part of our family and I want you to officially become a member of my family."

"I don't, I don't understand, David. What are you saying?"

"I'm asking you Naomi, will you marry me?" David asked as he picked up the velvet box from his pocket and slowly knelt down.

"What ... Oh my, David. I don't know what to say, I."

I was surprised, I didn't expect anything from David.

"Naomi. Will you marry me?"

"I uhm .. yeah." I nodded while laughing. "Of course I want to marry you."

"Thank you, God." David laughed with relief as he stood up. "I love you, Naomi."

"I love you, I" I smiled and practically flew into his arms.

Bend day...

"Oh my God, Naomi, it's beautiful."

"Congratulations, I'm happy for you. It's so beautiful."

Joy and Karin congratulated me on my engagement when we met for lunch.

"Thank you, man." I laughed as they frowned at the ring.

After David got engaged to me that night, I was so excited that I couldn't wait to tell them.

"You know what this means, right?" Karin asked.

"What?"

"That means you'd better think of an amazing uniform for me because I want to wear the best one." Karin made us laugh.

"Don't worry, I won't let you wear anything less than your best." I'm responding.

"So, how did your mom and dad react?" Karin asked.

"Mother is just as excited as you are. Dad too, he who is usually sarcastic threatens to hurt David if he tries to hurt me, but he's happy for me too."

"I know it's too early, but have you decided at some point that you want to have a wedding?" Joy asked.

"Not really, but we've agreed to wait until I graduate and start talking about the details. David and I thought it would be a good idea to wait for me until college was over before thinking about marriage. That way, we can have time to do things well."

"Hubunhi just me whenever you guys are ready to start making plans." Karin told me.

"How could I forget you?" I laugh.

"So you told me that David's eldest daughter doesn't like you very much. How did she receive your engagement news?" Joy asked me.

"I don't know yet." I said shyly.

"What do you mean?" Joy asked.

"I mean, we don't know how she reacts yet." Told him.

"wait. She doesn't know yet?" Karin asked.

"Not yet, we haven't told him. We'll do that tonight at dinner." I let out a breath. "I'm really scared right now."

"You should probably tell him to sit down and tell him how you feel about his father and see if he responds well or not." Joy said to me.

"He's been trying for almost two years." Karin. "I thought you'd need a different approach."

"What-like?" I asked.

"It's like trying to bribe him. Find out what she likes and buy it for her. Try to get on the bright side." Karin responded.

"You want me to try to buy acceptance or affection?"

"See it or you're used to living with a stepdaughter who hates you." Karin responded. "Look at Naomi, no one's trying, nothing's done."
