"When was the last time you took a full break? From work to go home or go for a walk with us, go have a drink or something?" My friend, Zaki, said when we had a beer at a bar.

"I'm so busy, Zaki, sometimes I don't have time for myself," I sipped my beer, then glanced at my watch for the fifth time since I got here.

"You have another plan?" Jefri asked, "I thought you were free this weekend and had time to hang out."

"Yes, but I have plans tonight" I replied as I sipped another beer.

"Don't tell me it's about work again?" Zaki asked.

"No, I have a plan with my girlfriend," I replied, "Naomi is coming tonight, I promise I'll make her dinner so I can't stay with you guys for long."

"He went to your house?" Jeff raised an eyebrow in shock, "You finally made that decision, huh?"

"You finally have another woman at home now?" Zaki asked somewhat surprised as well.

"Yes, I think it's time. Calista's been dead for four years, I think it's time." I replied, "For years I didn't date other women or bring anyone home. Because it felt as if I didn't appreciate our memories and everything, except Naomi. It's time I accepted the fact that Calista is completely gone, and she's never coming back and Naomi, she's very different from most women out there. I thought Calista would be happy because I chose her."

"That sounds like you two are very serious," Jeff looked at me with genuine concern, "Are you sure about this?"

"Jeff, I've never been sure about anything else in my life. I'm sure with this, Naomi is the one." I smiled thinking about it, "She's smart, she's fun, witty, she has a good heart."

"Sounds you've fallen for this girl. How long have you been together? Why haven't I met him before?" Zaki drinks his beer.

"They've been together for about five or six months, right?" Jeff looked at me for confirmation.

"We've been together for four months" I corrected.

"She came with him when they were dating one of my art exhibitions at the gallery opening. After all these years he was alone and not ready to start connecting again with the new woman, but I was surprised to see him together back then. " Jeff said to Zaki, "She looks really good, she's also very pretty. He really caught my attention because he was so young."

"So what happened to Fiona? He's younger than you, too. Fiona is three years younger than me" Zaki shrugged.

"It's different for just a few years. This girl is twice her age" Jeff spoke as if I wasn't even here.

"You're kidding. If he's double his age then that means he's old enough to be his father" Zaki replied looking at me in surprise.

"Hey, you two, remember I'm still here. The age difference between Naomi and me is none of your business."

"Naomi is mature enough for her age and she is perfect. He is a lot younger than me, but what is the problem? He's mature and capable of a more serious committed relationship with me, I made him confident and I think he's a great fit for me, I like it so much and I don't care about the age difference between us, so there's no problem."

I can see that you're in love with her, David. When I first saw you taking her to the gallery that night, I had my doubts about her. "Is he ready for all that? How would he feel if he found out about Calis ...."

"He doesn't know yet" I cut him shyly - already know what he's going to say.

"Jeff, our relationship is new. I also just invited him to my house but take it easy later I will tell him. I'll tell you the truth, but wait for the right time I don't want her to leave me that fast after telling her, but I'll definitely tell her."

"David, this is serious. You have to tell him so he can determine how he feels about it" Jeff told me.

"I know, and I'll tell him. Maybe tonight when she comes to dinner at my house," I looked at my watch again and realized I had missed a lot of time and I had to leave now if I wanted to get home in time to prepare dinner, "Omong is empty. I didn't even realize how much time I had wasted at the bar with friends. I made an appointment for dinner with Naomi but Jeff called me and Zaki suggested that we go have a few beers after work because I've rarely been out hanging out together so, I decided to go have a beer with them. But apparently time was so fast and by the time I got home and took a bath Naomi had arrived. I told him what happened and how I forgot the time for drinking in the bar.

"I knew I had promised to prepare a special dinner for you, and it might take a bit of time to cook" I told him as I took him to the kitchen, "What do you think if I make spaghetti, cheese macaroni or whatever it is, I'll make it for you. "

"The macaroni with cheese sounds good," he answered giving me a smile that warms my heart.

Jeff's right, I like Naomi. I'm really in love with this girl.
