In the Morning

I woke up in the morning and lay on David's chest and wrapped comfortably in his arms, his fingers dangling down and stroking the side of my face. I opened my eyes and saw David smiling at me.

"Good morning, beautiful," David smiled.

"Hey, morning," I smiled back at him as he gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"Are you sleeping well?" David asked moving his hand up and down on my arm resting on his chest.

"I'm sleeping well" I smiled.

"really? Me too," David smiled, "You're not ready to get up yet, are you?"

"No, I'm still a little tired from last night. I'll lie down for a few more minutes" I told him.

"Good, I can still stay here holding you longer" replied David.

"Well, like this is very comfortable," I chuckled before curling closer to his chest.

David and I spent the whole day in bed. We get up occasionally to take a shower and eat something to eat, and after that we go straight back to bed. I noticed from last night, David never took his hand off me.

"Maybe we should take something to eat now," David suggested as I lay comfortably on his chest.

"What?" I asked to look at him.

"You look sleepy, Naomi" David chuckled at me.

"I'm still tired and exhausted" I admit, suddenly my stomach starts to grumble.

"But I have to feed you now," David said as he sat slightly by my bedside, "You want pasta or spaghetti?"

"Can you make both?" I'm kidding.

"Sure," David smiled, sat down and pulled his pants, "I'm going to the kitchen, okay?"

"OK," I smiled as David leaned over and kissed me before leaving the room.

"Hey, I think you've forgotten me, '" Karin answered her phone.

"You could say," I chuckled, "Everything went really well."

"I know that" cried Karin, "So what does it feel like? Did he live up to your expectations? Is he worth the wait?"

"More than worth Karin. Very amazing, he really exceeded my expectations. Right now I'm still in a moment's happiness" I said to her, "Now all I want to do is get something to eat, then take a shower and go straight to sleep."

"Wow, you look so tired? But, it's still morning, it's only 7 past 5 minutes" Karin told me.

"I'm exhausted Karin, I've spent most of my energy from last night and all day. Tonight I just want to sleep, I want enough rest" I told him.

"I'm happy for you, I hope you're wearing sexy underwear." Karin laughs.

"Well I'm just wearing a nightgown so it doesn't look like I'm wearing sexy underwear" I chuckled. "I didn't even think of wearing anything I had last night."

"You have to improve now especially now that things have become more serious. You can't relax your look right now, you always have to look good in your guy's eyes," Karin told me, "You know, some women when they just got to know men, you know, they're always trying to be sexy and look attractive and once they get used to each other, she'll start to feel comfortable."

"O Lord Karin, sometimes I don't know what to do with you," I laughed, "Don't worry, I will listen to your advice, should always be the best for David. Anyway now I'm gonna get up and take a shower and see if I can help David in the kitchen, he's making me some pasta."

"Naomi, you better hold him tight because David is the perfect guy. You should thank me for introducing you to that dating App," Karin told me, "I suggest you pay back my kindness, hehe."

"I'm afraid that you'll have to wait a long, long, long time to get your pay back." I laughed, "I'll send you a message tomorrow, okay? I have to go."

I got up and went to take a shower before putting on one of David's old clothes and heading down the kitchen.

"Hey," said David as I entered the kitchen. "I thought you'd stay on top and I'd bring you food."

"I came to see if I could help you here" I told him.

"It's okay, your order's spaghetti and pasta is almost done and I've made the sauce, so all you can do now is sit there and watch me finish making it" David told me.
