"I'm going to check on them" I told him as he climbed into bed with me, "I don't usually spend a lot of time outside the house without any contact from them."
"I think it's very good how you still maintain your relationship with your parents. Most people your age won't talk to their parents anymore" David said to me, "Most of them will forget their parents, only a few are as good as you."
"You could say, I always wanted to stay close to them. That's why we're still in town for college" I told David and we hugged together. "I feel bad if I have to go out of town or even abroad to study better I'm here, my campus is also very close to home, more affordable."
"You're absolutely right, there's no harm in staying in your own home town and studying at State or Private Universities as long as they offer the same teaching," David told me, "And I believe you'll be a great teacher someday."
"You think so?" I smile.
"Sure," answered David kissing my forehead.
"Did you know that one day you'd be a doctor?" I asked him.
"Yes, ever since I could understand the things I saw my parents and grandparents become doctors. As I said before, I'm from a family of doctors so I always want to follow in their footsteps and help people." David replies, "Since then the doctor became my dream as an adult. How're you? Why did you choose to be a teacher?"
"Honestly, I'm not sure. I think I always had the character of a teacher. Even since Junior High School and High School I have always helped abandoned children by giving them things they have not gotten. And then I had some younger cousins who used to come to visit during the holidays and I always helped with their duties. So from then on I decided that I would try to become a teacher. " I replied, "I really want to be like that, being able to teach in Primary School, Junior High School or High School even though teaching in High School the job is more likely to be demanding, but still choose that part. "
"You must love kids, so you chose a career like that" David told me.
"Yes I like children and I like to be around them but mostly among young children, if the same teenage children I'm a bit scared," I told him, "But I hope and pray that they don't drive me crazy when I start teaching at school."
"Dear don't worry, if they can't be controlled, just call me, I'll bring a lot of sedatives so they can obey you" David joked.
David and I stayed up a little longer talking about things before we fell asleep.
The sound of a knock from a distance rang out and it was like someone was on the phone waking me up. I tried to ignore the voices and went back to sleep in the hope that the voices would stop but it continued so I decided to get up to see what it was. I opened my eyes and realized I was still at David's house.
"David anybody knock?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
“Hmm?” David muttered while sitting down before realizing what I had asked.
Tokk.tokk-s.tokkk.
"Dad!?" I finally understood what someone who was calling said earlier.
Whahuh? Daddy's?
"Oh, shit," David rubbed his face before the door opened.

A/N :
Oh shit indeed, David is apparently a father, is he a biological father, stepfather, adoptive father or what? So, is this the secret he's been hiding all this time? What do you think? What will Naomi react to this?
