I have been in a relationship with David for over a year. Last week we celebrated our Anniversary and it was very happy. We went to celebrate with friends and then finished our celebration at home. Alisa is now so close to me that she even spent the weekend with me with my parents. Even Alexa gets a chance to meet him and think he's the sweetest and to his surprise I didn't even know Alexa turned out to be so fond of kids. A few months ago we celebrated her birthday with a small party and to my surprise she asked one of her schoolmates to cut a cake with her, by asking me first. Aleah until now is still naughty, especially now he is fifteen years old and has been in high school. He was still trying to be rude at the time of speaking but not as much as before. Now he's getting cold and mostly trying to avoid me and just talking to me when he needs to.

David's been asking me to move in with him, even giving me the keys to his house for myself but I still can't do it. Moving in with him seemed like a big step for me and I was a bit hesitant to be away from my parents, I was too close to him. I need to talk to Karin to hear her opinion.

"Seriously, Naomi? You're so ridiculous. Why did you have to think about it all this time just to move in with the guy you love?" Karin said to me while we were having lunch together.

"Today it wasn't silly, I just thought moving in together was a big step" I replied.

"But maybe you feel like he didn't ask you to marry him so you're not sure, because you're worried about whether or not it will work because it's a big commitment. " Karin said to me. "Look at me for example my girlfriend asked me to move out even before we were dating for a year. I didn't think twice before giving him an answer. I have half of my belongings in my parents' house so, if there are things going on between us, I can go back home. Besides, you and David are such a strong couple, you both love each other and David is also the most humble person I've ever met. There's no way you two don't fit in."

"Sunday, there's one more thing. Your boyfriend lives alone so now you two live together. On the other hand David had two children" I said to him, "His second son Aliaa is not a problem for me, but what about Aleah his first child?"

"You should treat him like you always do. You just need to talk to him if it's necessary but if he's a-so, you just ignore him." Karin replies "If you and David love each other then I'll make it."

"I'm definitely gonna miss my parents."

"Not so, you can be this week with David and then next week again you can be your parents. Naomi, it's not hard, you're not moving out of town with her. Besides, didn't you always say that it's weird that we're all grown up but still living with the parents, this is your chance to stay away from them, let alone that you're going to live with your girlfriend." Karin told me. "Now I suggest you think quickly."

In-house..

"Dad," I said in a warning tone, "I thought, you two are already so familiar."

"Darling, don't mind him, he's just sad that you're leaving us now" Mother told me with a smile that I know usually precedes tears.

"Mother, comeon. You guys have to stop this. I'm not leaving you, I'm still there just won't be here as often as I used to" I told them. "I'd stop by a lot if I had the time and I'd be here every weekend. So you're gonna be okay, now can you two please stop making me feel guilty about moving on. I should have been excited today, but somehow you two just made me want to unpack my things and bring them back to my room. I won't even go technically because if you guys get into my room, you'll see that I'm still leaving a lot of my stuff there."

"Alright, alright. Your mother and I will try to be happy for you" Dad told me.

"Tried?" I gave him a look of disbelief.

"We're happy for you, baby," I smiled at him, "Don't mind your father. We hope you'll be happy living with David."

"Thank you, mom, dad," I smiled at them, "i hope so too."

"And you'd better visit as you promised or else I'll come to kick the doctor and move you back" Dad told me though I could see he was just joking.

"Dad, don't worry. You won't even remember that I don't live here anymore."
