"Yes, we got a holiday earlier this year, the exam will be finished a week early and then we'll be free, yeyyy. I'm so happy" I said to David as we chatted on the video call.

"It sounds like you have a lot of plans for the holidays this time," David smiled at me through the phone screen.

"Not really, but I'm really excited to get a few weeks off campus and be able to ease my stress. But that doesn't mean it's the only thing, I can see you always. That's also if you're not busy on a typical day."

"I was actually planning to take a few days off as well. I usually do work during the holidays but this year I'm definitely taking a few days off." David said to me, "I work with myself. The boss is also me, so I don't have to worry about that, but I do know that it's going to make my patients a little uncomfortable."

"Yes, you can say that, you just put the info on the information board so they can know how many days the clinic will be closed" I told him.

"Well that's what I'm going to do," replied David "I've even printed. "

"good. So, what are your plans for the holidays?" I asked, I lay in my bed staring at her through the screen.

"I'd really like to talk to you about that. You know I was planning on going to the top for a few days because most of my family lived there," David told me, "I want to ask you, how about you come with me? "

"Uhm. Visiting your family?" I asked uncertainly.

"Yes, I want you to meet my parents and my other family" David said to me, "I think it's time they met my new boyfriend. How do you feel about that? Will you come with me?"

"Are you sure? I mean, do you think they'll accept me?"

"Why not? You're amazing and smart, they'll like you. And the fact that I'm finally dating again, they'd love to meet you" David replied.

"Have you talked about me with them before?" I asked curiously.

"I've never told them in detail, but I'm just saying that I want them to meet someone special, so if you come with me, I'll tell them." David smiled, "Please, come along. Just two days. I want you to meet them."

"Uhm. Okay, all right," I nodded.

"Thanks, I really want them to meet you and I want to introduce you to a special person as well. They'll like you Naomi, don't worry."

"I hope so, although I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about meeting them too" I told him.

"You remember how nervous I was when I met your parents?" David chuckled, "I almost never showed up that night for fear that what I thought would be their reaction. But it wasn't as bad as I thought. Even though I thought your father wanted to kill me."

"But they both give you a chance and mom really likes you. My father feels fine too, he's trying to be your friend now right? So, you don't have to worry, but I don't know if your family is like mine, not only meeting your parents, but your whole family so I'm really nervous."

"Okay, if you say so" I replied touching my ear.

"What I just said is true, so prove it to yourself," David replied watching me, "What are you doing?"

"I was looking for my earrings, it seemed to be coming out of my ears," I said as I lifted the pillow on the bed with one hand while holding my phone with the other.

"You just realized? I thought you were aware that you only wear one earring" David told me.

"You've noticed that before? Why didn't you say daritadi?" I asked her to get out of bed to look at her more carefully. "I don't know when the earrings fell."

"I was just about to say," David replied, "it's under you."

"I found it" I said as the earrings fell from under the blanket I had just lifted.

"I don't want to offend you or anything, but I really don't understand why most women tend to stab their bodies when if they don't wear your jewelry they look pretty."

"I only had one piercing in each of my ears, my mother pierced him when I was a baby. I personally like earrings because they are funny accessories, but I don't know what other people think" I said to her, "Don't take it personally, but you sound like my dad."

"What?" David asked in a mocking tone.

"I didn't mean to, but you two were exactly right," I laughed at David's dramatic reaction.

"Well, you can call me dad" David replied with a grin that left me gasping.

"Oh my God, David," I laughed.

"I can't wait to see you again" David smiled, "How do you feel spending this weekend with me?"

"All weekend?"

"Yes, you can come on Friday night, and I will spend all my time on both Saturday and Sunday with you. How's it?" David asked me.

"It sounds like a date."
