At my parents' residence..
"Is your relationship okay, honey?" Mama asked me when she saw me putting some fruit in the blender.
"Yes, everything's fine. Why?" I asked while putting the blender cover on top.
"Mother notice, you seem to be moving back home?."
"Mother asked as if she didn't want me here anymore." I'm laughing a little.
"Everything's fine, ma'am. We thought it might be better to give each other a little space so we could get closer. As the saying goes, 'noise brings the heart closer'. That's what we do." I told him before turning on the blender.
"Oh, I was wondering if you guys might have a problem." Mother said as I finished blending all the fruits.
"No, not really. I just want to get away from Aleah." I told him while filtering out the juice.
"Does he still make you trouble?"
"He's driving me crazy, Mom. I don't know what to do. I tried everything but still, she still hates me." I'm responding.
"All you have to do now is stop and ignore him. Maybe as time goes by he will finally come to his senses. I mean, you can't force someone to like you or be close to you if they don't want to. " My mother said to me.
"I don't know that." I let out a breath. "I know for a fact that he hates me, I really think he's trying to ruin my relationship with David."
"Well, that's not good. Are you sure about that?" Mother asked.
"I've never been this sure," I responded. "He did everything to cause a quarrel between me and David."
"Have you talked to David about it?"
"Yes, Mom. We had a fight last week and I told her everything. I know he's planning to talk to her, but I still think it's better if I go home for a while."
"Look, I know something's going on." Mother told me.
"I don't know what to do, Mom. With this kind of situation, I just feel like breaking up with David."
"What's? Why would you do that?" Mother asked doubtfully.
"Mom, I love David and I really don't want to do it, because it will break his heart. And Alisa, I don't know if she can handle it if I just disappear from her life. But I don't want to be present between a man and his daughter."
"Listen, Naomi. Relationships are not always easy.Sometimes they come with some obstacles but you can't just give up and throw your love away like that." Mother suggested. "Just give it time. Try to last longer and fight for what you want."

"Remind me why I'm with you in the pharmacy again." Karin told me.
"You helped me find the Pill I stopped using." What he said.
"Naomi, that doesn't sound like a pessimist or anything, but I don't think there's an alternative I can find right now." He said to me.
"There must be something else I can try. I've crossed out four types of pills from the list. There must be something that really works well for me."
"I don't understand. Your girlfriend's a doctor, she's the best person who can suggest a large number of other contraceptives, why don't you talk to her?" Karin said to me.
"I feel like sometimes I trouble David too much. I mean, he was the one who suggested the last three pills after the first one started making me nauseous.I don't want to bother him again for a while. He's got a lot of work to do. " I said to him.
"Naomi, if you've tried four different oral contraceptives and they all make you feel sick or have unwanted side effects then don't think it's time to try something else." Karin suggested.
"Maybe you should consider it. They have many different contraceptives. If the pill doesn't work well for you, there's a patch, an injection, a cap, an IUD and so on."
"No, I don't want an injection. I've always heard that it has a lot of side effects. Sometimes it causes body odor or makes people thin and bones porous, and of course I can't possibly do it, I want a wire-shaped one or anything that can be put inside me."
"That could be dangerous Karin."
"For a woman dating a doctor, are you sure you don't have any trust?"
"Not really, maybe I should take a break from all those artificial hormones for a while."
"You really want to do that?" Karin asked in surprise.
"Not really but I don't know what else to do now." I said to him.
"I'm just suggesting some lists you can try, but if nothing sounds interesting to you. I think I have the last." Karin told me.
"What's that?"
"Lift your womb. That way, you don't have to worry anymore about conception or getting pregnant." Karin chuckles.
"Sarin." I gasped and pushed him around. "Don't joke about things like that. I'll never be able to do that. I have not given birth to my own child. I still need my womb. So no, thank you."
"You're out of options." Karin laughs.
"I'm not, it's just that I'm not sure."
"Well, you better decide right away because I don't like the way the security guards see us." Karin told me.
"I'll try one of the last pills. If it doesn't work then I'm done with everything."
"So you still want children in the future?" Karin asked me.
"Yes. I thought you knew that." I said to her.
"People can change their minds."
"Well," I responded. "Maybe not now, but one day I'll want my own children."
"Did David want more children?"
"I don't know. We've never discussed that topic before." I said to him.
"My boyfriend wants kids, but I don't think I'm ready for that. I mean she asked me about it and asked me how after graduation, but I don't think I'm ready to be a mother just yet." Karin told me. "The widow is almost here. About six months left. That's a little too soon for me. I want to graduate then work for a while before thinking about that move."
"Yes, that's a big step. Did you talk to him, tell him how you feel?"
"Not really. I kind of change the conversation every time." Karin responded.
"Today, you need to talk to him and straighten things out. Otherwise, he'll be confused about what you want."
"I don't know. I was just thinking because she was in her forties and had no children yet, she wanted to hurry."
"Maybe if you talk to him, he'll understand. If David ever thinks about having another child now, I need to talk to him. "
