Chapter 99 - The False Sword?

After walking for quite a while, Izuru and Asura started to get exhausted again. Even though the weather was not as hot as it was. They continued walking until the atmosphere in the forest slowly started to turn darker.

"Why does it feel like the sky is getting a little dark?" Asura asked stopped and looked up followed by Izuru.

"Maybe it'll rain." Izuru continued on his way.

In the middle of the journey, Izuru and Asura saw someone who was not a stranger. A little boy ran towards them.

"Sister Asura!" Shouted The boy.

Asura realized it just by hearing that voice. "Meiro?" Said Asura surprised.

Meiro stopped in front of the two of them. Asura immediately bowed in front of Meiro.

"How did you get here?" Ask Izuru.

"You're not alone, are you?" Ask Asura.

"I'm with the others there!" Meiro pointed back.

They are then escorted to another place, and meet with Iona, Destra, and Rin. Iona and Destra looked exhausted under the tree.

"You guys here too?" Sapa Rin's.

"Are you following us?" Ask Izuru.

"No, we're just driving Meiro to find a medicinal plant."

"Really! But until now I haven't seen one." Meiro.

"Let's just go home! The grandmothers must have lied. We've walked all the way to the middle of the forest, but found none." Complain Destra.

Rin, Destra, and Meiro look at it closely, but no carvings are seen.

"There's nothing here." Destra.

"uh? It must be on the other side!" Izuru then flipped the sword and looked at the other side. But, he did not see any carvings. "missing? How can!?" Izuru asked in surprise.

"Is that really Crgoshiro's relic?" Ask Destra.

"But I saw him too!" Said Asura.

"Maybe it's not what you're looking for, or maybe it's just an ordinary sword." Rin.

"This sword just changed! Isn't that Izuru?"

Izuru looked extremely disappointed while looking at the sword. "Maybe they're right, this is indeed just an ordinary sword." Izuru said accept the reality.

"What did we see then?" Ask Asura.

They went back to see the others. There they were still going around looking for medicinal plants for Meiro.

"Oh you guys look happy. Is something going on?" Ask Rin.

"There's nothing." Answer Izuru and Asura simultaneously.

Meiro suddenly picked up the flower with a feeling of anger and directly threw it on the ground. "Don't I tell you it's purple...!?" Shouted Meiro annoyed.

"Yes, you know that purple is made up of the basic colors blue and red. So blue and purple are family."

"That has nothing to do with stupid...!" Shouted Meiro while throwing stones at Destra's head.

"So apparently it's a purple flower?" Ask Izuru.

"Really! And her buds only bloom a little like young tulips. Usually grow attached to the roots of trees." Meiro.

Izuru and Asura joined the search. They examined one by one the trees with roots growing on the surface, but their help did not change anything. There was not a single plant that resembled what Meiro said.

They decided to move somewhere else. After walking quite a distance, they found a vast meadow in the middle of the forest. Around there grew many colorful flowers, the atmosphere in the place was also cooler than in the forest.

"There are so many flowers here. Perhaps the plant that Meiro was looking for was among these flowers!" Said Izuru running to the middle.

"Hey! Didn't I tell you they grow on tree roots. Huhhhhh... He's not listening to me."

Izuru looked around while in the middle. It was also when the cold wind blew a little and the sunlight seemed to be swept away by the wind, leaving behind a shadow from the clouds. Izuru then turned his gaze upwards and saw a huge black cloud.

"It looks like it's going to rain. Uh...? There's something strange about that cloud." Izuru said inwardly then focused on looking towards the clouds.

On the edge of the huge cloud was something that was not shaped like a cloud. Realizing that, Izuru immediately ran back in the other direction.

"Hey, look at the clouds above us!" Izuru said while pointing upwards. The others immediately looked up, except for Iona who continued to sleep leaning against the tree.

"Wait? Isn't that...?" Rin asked with a surprised face mixed in doubt.

"No way!" Said Destra also looking surprised while rubbing her two eyes.

"What's? What's that!?" Izuru asked seemed confused himself.
