Chapter 17 - The Monster Centipede

The tremor slowly grew stronger, small rocks also began to fall from the ceiling of the cave. "What's this?" Ask Izuru slowly.

"The monster showed up..." Rin says, Izuru and Iona are surprised and look at Rin. "...according to the legend." Connect Rin.

"What do you mean?" Ask Izuru.

"If Rin had known about the monsters in this mine, but still brought us here. That means Rin wanted to kill herself." Obviously Iona.

"Woy! If you want to kill yourself, don't take the plunge!" Izuru.

"Who wants to die? I never planned to die here. I brought you guys here because, in order to improve our abilities we have to be exposed to the actual situation! Training alone is not enough, we must feel the real war!" Shouted Rin.

"Damn, the psychopath's soul is active again." Izuru said inwardly, then he slowly approached Iona and was about to whisper something into her ear. "Hey, you don't want to die, do you? Let's get out of here." Izuru Whisper.

"But we've gone too far, going back through the narrow tunnel also includes suicide. We'd be easier to avoid in the big place." Iona's whisper back.

"You mean we have to fight, right?"

"Oi, Rin! What's the monster like?" Ask Izuru.

"Like that." Rin replied pointing towards a large tunnel in front of them. Suddenly many eyes shone from the darkness, the tremors grew stronger. The spy drew closer and then came out a giant centipede that was about 2 meters wide.

"After thinking again, we won't win." Iona said then ran back towards the tunnel they had just passed.

"Woy wait for me!" Izuru said he ran after Iona. The giant centipede passed by the faster they approached, and the centipede's head hit one of the support poles in the mine. The cracks spread very quickly, all the way up the entrance tunnel. Large rocks fell covering the path of Izuru and Iona before they made it out. "What's!? Tunnel's down!"

Iona immediately opened her hand and pointed it at the stone that was blocking it. "Can't, it's too heavy."

"How about this, are we going to die here!?" Izuru asked in panic. "Woy, you caused all this!" Izuru shouted right behind Rin.

"We better sacrifice this guy." The word Iona also appeared near Izuru.

"Good idea! Who knew the monster only wanted one victim."

Rin just kept quiet without saying anything, clenched her hands and said. "The living legends and other great people, were originally the same as you. They also experience something like this..."

"Can you just get to the point!?" Izuru Sela.

"Blessing!" A blue light suddenly appeared around Izuru. Izuru was surprised and looked towards Iona. "Izuru, please help Rin! I'm sure he's been trying so hard to make a stupid decision like this." Iona.

"That's also my goal in this world, I guess there's no other choice!" Izuru started to step up from his place and ran after Rin. Izuru ran very quickly after Rin, "great, my body feels very light. So this is the blessing effect?" Izuru said in his heart. He then ran with Rin to approach the monster.

"Izuru!?" Said Rin surprised to realize Izuru was beside him.

"Yes, I'll help you! I want to get a level too!"

"Revelation!" Rin pushed Izuru aside, then he jumped in the opposite direction. Suddenly the monster slid into their position earlier until the ground cracked. Rin took one arrow and pulled his bow. His arrow and bow began to glow with the aura around him. "Sheruko no Geza!" Shouted Rin then directed his bow upwards, then let go. The arrow shot upwards rapidly until it smashed into the ceiling of the mine cave and finally exploded, making a huge rock fall and then hit the head of the monster.

"Great..." Izuru said amazed.

"Let's attack fast!" Rin shouted and ran closer. Izuru who heard it came running towards the monster and then slashed down several legs of the centipede monster at once, all of those hit by Izuru's sword slash were instantly cut off easily. "Don't attack his legs, just attack his body!" Said Rin who had just arrived there, then his bow took out a curved blade at the end. Using that Rin pierced and tore the lower body of the centipede monster. But the monster's body started moving and the monster's head made it out of the rocks. Now the monster is after Rin and goes straight after him. Rin runs away followed by Izuru and the monster crosses her body.

"Let's use your style again!"

"Can't, where I haven't been enough." Answer Rin. The monster was walking very fast, surpassing the speed of Izuru and Rin. The monster immediately shot towards the two of them, Rin bounced to the side, but Izuru bounced up on the monster's head.

"Woah..!!?!?" Izuru shouted and then held onto one of the monster's antennae.

"Izuru, I can't hold this blessing much longer." Said Iona starting to sweat and her face was a little pale.

The centipede wriggled trying to knock Izuru off his head, until the centipede smashed its own head into the mine ceiling. The thundering impact of the monster sounded hard, small rocks fell, if like this continue maybe the exit will also collapse. Izuru was forced down from the monster's head, he slid down using the centipede monster's long body. While sliding down Izuru's sword also tore through the monster's body, a green liquid came out and splashed all over Izuru's body.

"Gwaaaaahhh....!!!" The monster's voice was writhing in pain. Izuru fell down before gliding to the end of the monster, he rolled around a few times until it hit the wall of the mine area.

"Sheruko no Geza!" The aura arrow shot again from Rin and shot towards the monster's head. The explosion in the head caused the monster to fall. Rin dashed quickly towards the monster's head and jumped directly on it, then approached a ticking object in the middle of its head. Lifting his bow upwards, then a dagger appeared at the end of his bow and directly pierced the monster.

"Ugh..." Izuru regained consciousness with a slightly blurry padangan sitting leaning against the wall after falling from the monster. Then he raised his sword that had been broken into pieces and also the liquid from the monster had entered through the wounds in his hand. "I feel so tired... We've won..." Izuru said in his heart.

"Izuru...!" Iona shouted faintly as she ran towards Izuru.

"Miss... Your Blessing Skill is very useful..." Izuru said then closed his eyes, until an unknown time.
