Chapter 40 - New Jobs

In a slightly cloudy morning, when everyone in the house was sleeping. Suddenly the sound of knocking on the door sounded and woke Izuru up. "Ugh... Who comes in this early morning?" Izuru asked as she walked out of her room, then she opened the door.

"Sorry to interrupt this early in the morning." Shun said at the door.

"You turned out? What's up?" Izuru asked away from the front door and sat down in the living room. Shun then entered and sat down on the seat near Izuru sitting.

"I want to give you a gift from the King of Hyron Kingdom." Answer Shun.

"Money?"

"Yes, 30 gold pieces for all three of you." Shun replied, giving a bag of money to Izuru.

"Well, thank you. But, isn't this too little as a gift from the king?" Tanya Izuru received the money.

"I should share it equally with other adventurers who help." Shun.

"Not that we were the most helpful there, you should have given us a bonus!"

"I've given you a little bonus. If I give more, people will think I'm corrupt."

"Master Shun, how long are you here for?" Ask Karin to come into the house.

"Who else is he?" Ask Izuru.

"He's my new best man. Iona's sister."

"Let's hurry!" Said Izuru walking into the living room while holding Iona's hand. "That's it! Ehh? Where are they?" Izuru asked looking at the already empty living room. Then Izuru looked out there was already no Shun horse carriage. "Have they left?"

"Who do you mean that?" Ask Iona.

"Shun and..."

"Shun!? Have you forgotten? I don't want to see him again!" Iona said immediately go to the kitchen.

"I haven't finished talking yet." Izuru said then closed the front door and went to Izuru's kitchen and sat down at the dining table with Iona. "Oh yeah, I got money from Shun." Izuru said he showed Iona his pocket of money.

"How much?" Iona asked looking and opened the bag.

"30 pieces of gold." Answer Izuru.

"Good, with this our burdens become lighter." Iona. After sunrise they went to the guild to search for quests.

"What's this!? Usually this board is full of paper until it is piled in the back." Izuru said in astonishment as he looked at the quest paper on the board which was less than usual.

"Yes, that's a tumben. There aren't many people here either." Iona.

Izuru then came before the reception desk. "Hey, why is the collision once the quest board is quiet?" Ask Izuru.

"I don't know either, usually people will give a request in the morning. But, not much has come today." The Receptionist Girl said.

"Is that? Most were just difficult quests with low pay, it would just be a waste of time and effort." Izuru said, then behind him came Rin.

"Maybe we need to find a job other than to fight." Rin.

"yes too! And I know anyone who's gonna help us." Izuru. Then they asked for help curtains to get a job.

"Because Iona's chest is small." Answer Izuru spontaneously.

"Just look if I pay a little." Rin said as she walked into the bathroom.

"Working spirit! Now it's your turn to find a job." Izuru said then walked out of the Curtains bar with Iona.

"I don't feel good about this." Said Iona walking with Izuru.

"Either way we're not too busy right now, so maybe we can get all the work done together." Said Fiel.

"You have to work here!" Said Asura.

"Why? Isn't it the same?" Ask Izuru.

"You know the work at home is very hard. So the mininal must be a man."

"Aren't you girls?" Ask Izuru.

"That's right, but like I said I'm a dragon race, and Fiel is half animal. So our strength is much greater than that of a female human. Isn't Fiel?" Said Asura slightly approaching to Fiel.

"It's up to you." Said Fiel.

"Have heard it yourself, right?"

"Yes well, interesting enough if I can see the ears of Fiel's animals. So how, you got to find your own job?" Ask Izuru to Iona.

"It's okay, I'll find it myself. Yes, I'm leaving first." Iona answered and went out of the house.

"Bye bye!" Izuru.

Iona walks alone through the streets of the city, and Iona sees some people washing carts and chariots. Iona was intrigued and immediately drew closer to those people. "Excuse me." Iona.

"What's wrong?" Ask one of the men there.

"Is there a lowonga job here?" Ask Iona.

"Just work? Yes, we do need extra people. Well, you can work here." The man answered, giving Iona a job.

"Thank you very much!"

"All right now your job is to wash this horse-drawn carriage." Said the man giving a wooden bucket and a cloth inside.

"I'll do it right away!" Said Iona running towards the horse carriage shown. But Iona stopped and his face looked very surprised, it turns out Karin is in front of Iona.

"Sister? We finally meet." Karin said smiling cynically.
