Arc 1 End - Chapter 38 - Freedom

Iona on top of the archer tower near the fort. He was looking at the sunset with short purple hair that broke the afternoon breeze. From behind Izuru climbed up the stairs, then he walked over and stopped beside Iona. Izuru took in the sunset view with Iona, Iona lowered her head and said. "Tomorrow, I'll go back home."

"I know, that's why I'm here. It's possible, this is our last meeting." Answer Izuru.

"If I could control myself at that time, things wouldn't be like this." Iona said with tears. "In the end, I will continue to be locked up. I won't have freedom until the end."

"If you're not tied up there, we'll all be exposed to the ghost that the Necromancer took out. Then, everything won't survive." Izuru said as he stared at the second moon that was near the sun. The commander will also enter the chariot, but from behind someone calls. "Commander!" Call Izuru walk closer together with Rin.

Izuru and Rin sit next to Iona, and the Commander sits next to Shun. Then they began their journey at dawn, all of them not talking there. Rin glanced at Iona who was bowing her head.

"Rin, what are you gonna do after this?" Iona asked without looking at Rin.

"I don't know, maybe it's the end." Answer Rin.

"I will also be looking for new members for my party! That house is for me, right?" Ask Izuru.

"Of course not, I want to sell it." Answer Rin.

"It's not fair! Because I made that giant centipede crash into the crystal cave, so I'm entitled to a ration, too." Izuru said arguing with Rin. A smile began to be seen on Iona's face and slowly also slowly raised her face.

"No way, only me and Mr. Shun can come." Reply Commander.

"My family is very closed, only a few people and only interested people can enter." Obviously Iona.

"So, this is the end?" Ask Rin.

"It's only for a moment, but it's so much fun to be with you." Iona said, then he walked towards the gate.

"Just calm down, I'll try to convince them to forgive Iona." Shun.

"Yes, this is the first time I've asked you for help." Izuru. Then the commander and Shun followed Iona. As they reached the tightly shut gate, an old man in a servant uniform ran from the house and opened the gate.

Izuru and Rin could only see Iona go from the outside. Iona also looked back with teary eyes.

"There's nothing we can do. Let's go home." Rin said to walk back, then Izuru followed. The two of them were walking on the grassland when the sky had started to clear, but the sun was still not shining.

Iona and the others arrived at the living room. Then a woman who was sitting in a large red chair moved up, and walked closer to them. "Welcome Mr. Shun. I've heard everything, I'm sorry for the tragedy." Said the Woman. "Let's sit down." Connect the woman, then they sit at a long table like a dining table.

"Thank you, but you saw that, right? I wasn't hurt, even Iona had saved the entire army in the village." Shun.

Iona's mother said insinuating and addressing him. Iona could only bow without saying a word. "The punishment you deserve is the death penalty."

Shun was surprised by Iona's mother's words. "Death sentence!? That's too much, Iona's your daughter!" Shun said he did not accept.

"Calculate Mr. Shun, because Iona has saved the village. The punishment will be lightened, that is not to be considered in this family, I do not want to have a daughter who is shameful like this. You're no longer my daughter." Said Iona's Mother. "Now you go to your room, I hope you regret everything you've done." Connect Iona's Mother. Iona just stayed there. "Liss! "Liss! Stop her!" Shouted Iona's Mother. Then some servants came and blocked the entrance.

"Wind element!" Said Iona taking out a magic circle from her hand and flinging out all the servants blocking the door.

"Now I am free! Izuru! Rin! Wait for me!" Shouted Iona looking very happy while running out of the gate. "This story is not over!" Iona's mind kept running until she saw Izuru and Rin walking there. "Izuru...! Rin...!" Call Iona.

"Yona!?" Izuru asked hearing Iona's call.

"That's the sound!?" Rin said surprised and they looked back. "Yona??"

"Izuru...!!! Rinn...!!!" Iona's shout was already close to them and then Iona jumped up and hugged the two of them until it fell on the grass. "I'm free now...!" Iona said with a big smile and small tears in her eyes. Izuru and Rin are hugged by Iona just as the sun begins to shine on the land.
