Chapter 45 - King's Rescue Plan

On a quiet night, a small puddle reflects the moon's beautiful light. A foot suddenly stepped on and made the puddle water surging strongly. "So what's the secret path like?" Ask Karin.

"Why ask like that?" Ask Izuru.

"I don't want the secret passage to get into the water, it's disgusting!" Answer Karin.

"You'll see for yourself, because we'll be there soon." Said the man walking in front of the others. Then he stopped near the royal wall. "Here we go!"

"Ugh... It smells!" Said Izuru closing his nose.

"Didn't you guys stink?" Izuru asked looking towards Rin and Shun.

"No." Answer Shun.

"It's normal." Answer Rin.

"You're not normal." Izuru.

"I hate to say it, but I agree with him this time." Karin.

"Stop talking and get in!" Shun said then down the water channel using a ladder on the channel wall. Then after Rin, then Izuru.

"I'm not trained for this." Karin said then slowly down. Up inside, it smelled a lot more stinging and made me want to vomit.

"There is only one way." Shun said he had arrived at the tunnel.

"Ah... Wherever it matters I get out of here...!" Said Izuru running past Shun and Rin.

"Ehh...!? Waitme! I can't stand it here either..!" Karin said following Izuru.

"Well... They're these. It's a good thing my nose is clogged, if you?" Ask shun.

"I'm used to this smell." Answer Rin.

Izuru and Karin continued to run all the way to the end of the tunnel. "This is the end!" Izuru said stop.

"Let's get on!" Karin said behind him. Then Izuru climbed up using an iron ladder attached to the wall. Then Izuru came out of the channel and breathed in some fresh air. "Ah... Finally out too." Izuru.

Karin got out of there too. "Well... Anyway I don't want to go out through here anymore." Karin. Then Rin and Shun came out after that.

"Oh no." Rin.

"What's wrong?" Shun asked, then looked around it turned out that there were already many royal soldiers hiding while pointing bows and crossbows.

"Oh I don't see them." Izuru.

"in 5 seconds we're running down that aisle." Karin said, then he clenched his hand and threw dust up and the dust spread throughout the room and made the view of all the soldiers blurred.

"Foot!" Shouted one of the soldiers and all of them shot without direction. But when the flying dust started to disappear, they too had already disappeared from there. "Damn! Hurry up all the troops search them all over the palace!" The soldier said, then everything started to split.

Izuru and the others ran in the royal hallway while continuing to be vigilant. They reached the branch of the passageway and saw some soldiers running towards them from the other passageway. "Great!" Izuru.

"Let's get in here!" Karin said to run towards the door near them, then tried to open it. "Locked!"

"Surge!" Izuru said then kicked the door wide open. Then they entered the room like that and closed the door again. The sound of soldiers running from outside, they passed through the door of the room. "Huffs... They don't know we're here." Izuru said relieved.

"Who are you?" Ask the man, his voice is like a grown woman. "Are you not soldiers?"

Izuru then drew his sword and pointed it towards the woman from afar. "If you yell, I won't hesitate to hurt you!" Izuru said threateningly.

"You're talking like an amateur robber." Rin.

"So you're right, aren't you soldiers? Did you guys sneak in here!?" Asked the woman out from behind the bed dressed like a noble, but it was already very shabby.

"That'S...? Her Majesty the Queen!?" Karin said surprised.

"Yes, I'm Queen Ferona." Queen Says.

"It's an honor to meet you!" Karin said on her knees. "You are also quick on your knees!" Karin said to get everyone on their knees. Then everyone got on their knees.

"Justu I'm glad to see you! The kingdom has been taken over!" The Queen walked over with a panicked face.

"The kingdom is taken over!?" Ask everyone to be surprised.

"Yes, so help me get out of here. I've been locked up in this room for a long time!" The Queen said then looking at the sword that was on Shun's back. "You must be the chosen hero!" Said the Queen approaching towards Shun.

"It's true that it started." Answer Shun.

"Hand master! Help us free this kingdom!" The Queen kneels.

"Your majesty, you don't have to do that!!!?" Said Shun standing up and helping the Queen stand up.

"Please, we need your help!" The Queen said in tears.

"Then where is the King's majesty?" Ask Karin.

The Queen's face suddenly became even sadder, then the Queen replied. "King, he's been killed."

"What's!? When did that happen?" Ask Karin.

"It's been a long time since some of those men entered the palace." Answer Queen.

"Long time? But didn't the King just appear on the balcony this morning!?" Ask Izuru.

"No way, I saw it myself right in front of my face!" Queen Says.

"Is the king still alive?" Ask Rin.

"If so we must also save the king!" Queen Says.

"But the soldiers are going around the whole palace, how can we find the king?" Ask Izuru.

"How about the Princess?" Ask Karin.

"I don't know, they took her somewhere."

"It would be too long if we had to find the king, because Iona hasn't met yet." Izuru.

"If Iona is arrested, he'll be in jail." Rin.
