"the inscription has been read, and the content of the writing is prophecy. Forecasts about someone who will become the owner of the legendary sword force, we should immediately train his would-be companion." Said a woman in noble-like clothes standing behind Grandpa Iona.
"So, who's the candidate?" Grandpa Iona asked, standing with a stick in front of the window. He looked out, a huge storm was brewing outside.
"Isn't that clear? Who can turn for this generation."
"I refuse."
"What do you mean say that!? Do you remember the role of this family? If you forget, I'll remind her." The woman said surprised.
"Maybe I'm old, but I remember... However, over the years I was with my grandson, I understood exactly what he wanted. Iona doesn't want this, she wants freedom. His whole life he's never been allowed out of this house."
"Wouldn't your granddaughter be able to go out wherever she wants while accompanying the destined person?" Ask the woman.
"Maybe he can get out, but with a shackle that ties his neck. Same with a slave."
"Is your grandson more valuable than the safety of this country?" Ask the woman.
"I don't care about this country!" Jerking Grandpa Iona. "I will never destroy my own granddaughter's future!"
"You're selfish. You risked the lives of many for the future of one man." Said the Woman.
After that Iona's grandfather walks into the library and is immediately noticed by Iona who is reading a pile of books on the floor. Grandpa Iona sat down on the chair in the library and called out to Iona. "Iona, come sit down by Grandpa."
"What's wrong?" Iona asked in front of her grandfather.
"Take this." Her grandfather gave Iona a book.
"What book is this?" Iona asked and opened it, in which there were only writings that Iona did not understand.
"It's a magic book, someday you'll know how to use it." Answer Grandpa Iona.
"Thank you, but why did Grandpa give this to me?" Ask Iona.
"I feel like I can't keep you company for too long." Answer Grandpa Iona.
Iona was immediately surprised by his grandfather's reply. "Why did Grandpa say that?" Iona asked with a frightened expression.
"You know what, Grandpa is old."
"Sorry, grandfather can't take you to see the scenery in the book." Said Grandpa Iona.
"I don't want the view, I want grandpa to stay with me!" Iona hugged her grandfather.
In the end everything Iona's grandfather said came true. A few days later her grandfather left her entire family for good, Iona locked herself in a room for a few days. He was the one who lost his grandfather in that house the most. After that Iona turned quiet, she felt she no longer had a purpose in life. He also does not care about anything, including being a companion for the chosen one. Then he trained for 10 years, until now he did everything his family ordered.
Iona went to the town where the prophecy said that the fisherman would meet the chosen people in the city. From the beginning he never once showed any expression. But, slowly he opened his heart while together with Izuru and Rin, all becoming felt like before again. However, he could not forget the task he had been given.
...*****...
The carriage stopped suddenly in the middle of the forest and Iona woke up from her sleep. "Uhh..? What's up!?" Iona asked looking around in the horse carriage, there was no one there. Iona got down and found everyone gathered in front of the carriage. "Shun, what's wrong?" Tanya Iona approached Shun.
"It seems we chose the wrong route." Shun answered looking ahead there were many monsters blocking. "We must clear this road!" Shun shouted and everyone came forward to attack one by one the monsters that confronted him. Iona is behind with Rin and some people, they attack from behind using long-range weapons and magic. Iona also helped, but her attack had no effect.
"Life, what is this? A mess in the middle of the trip?" Izuru asked looking from behind the second horse carriage. Then he sat facing back and said, "I better wait for them all to be cornered and I help. I haven't slept since yesterday, huh... Good night." Izuru said then closed his eyes in a sitting position.
There was a roar from in front of Izuru. Izuru then opened his eyes and saw a huge black wolf walking slowly towards Izuru. "What!?" Izuru was surprised to see those wolves. "Damn it, they're also bigger than I've ever fought before." Said Izuru preparing to pull out his sword. Then he looked for a moment at the front that was being guarded by the others, those in front only faced small monsters, while behind the big monsters ambushed Izuru, really unlucky. "What the fuck? I didn't know that monsters could set up a strategy. Is it probably just a coincidence? No, it's impossible because they're a different kind of monster." Izuru said in his heart. "It seems like there's no other choice, right?" Said Izuru pulling his sword, then he dashed towards one of the wolves. The wolf also ran towards Izuru, as it was almost near Izuru jumped up to the wolf and stabbed its neck wide open. When another wolf ran towards him, Izuru immediately came down and kicked the corpse of the wolf he killed earlier towards the wolf that ran towards him until it hit the ground.
Back to the front, where Shun and his friends are facing the attacking goblins. Goblins are close attack types, there are also long range attackers. Shun killed one by one the goblins with a single slash. The arrow was released towards Shun, and immediately repelled him with his sword. "How many are they?" Ask Shun.
"Something like there's still a lot." Reply to one of the men with a large sword.
"We can't make it in time like this!" Shun said, he then considered all the possibilities to arrive at the village on time. "We're just breaking!" Shun.
"Are you sure? If they manage to destroy his chariot, we won't have any transport."
"But that's the only option." Answer Shun. Then they all got into the horse carriage and broke through all the goblins that were in the middle of the forest. A few people were in front to shoot at the monsters blocking the way.
Izuru still faced the last wolf. "Well... Huh... Shit, this is exhausting!" Izuru said then ran towards the wolf, but the wolf jumped up and bit Izuru on the shoulder. "Arrghh..! His bite pierced my armour!" Izuru said, then he directly stabbed the wolf's neck to death. "aww... It hurts so much." Izuru faced back and saw the horse carriage he had previously been riding had already walked forward to some distance away.
"Eh...? Wwwwaaa...! They left..!" Izuru shouted and tried to chase after him, but he was too tired after fighting. "Well... Huh... Wait...! Huh..." Izuru then kicked a rock and complained. "Damn it! Now how can I chase them? When you go home, it's too far." Izuru said then looked behind some Wolf corpses lying there.
"That's it! I'm lucky I'm a genius!" Izuru said he had an idea.
Seriate...
