Chapter 23 - The Wrong Way

"why are you going alone?" Tanya Rin walks the streets of the city with Izuru and Iona.

"Why? It's because you guys are too busy with Shun." Answer Izuru.

"I'm sorry, I seem to be too enthusiastic about that sword." Iona.

"It's good that you're conscious."

"Your answer is like that, but I'm sorry."

"Now what about my weapon?" Ask Izuru.

"This we've bought." Said Rin giving the sword that was still wrapped in cloth to Izuru. Izuru accepted it and immediately opened the package. "That's what you know the most? So the quality is better than the previous sword." Rin.

Izuru pulled out the sword from its sheath, then looked at the shiny blade of the sword. "It's lighter than the one before." Izuru.

"Of course, the best quality." Rin said bragging.

"About having money, buy expensive."

"In buyin do not accept, do not accept gelud?" Rin. But suddenly Izuru stops and makes Iona crash into Izuru.

"Ouch! Hey why stop suddenly?" Iona asked while holding her nose.

"That's them again!" Izuru replied pointing at Shun and his party members.

"Why indeed?" Ask Rin.

"I don't want to see him again. Let's go the other way!" Izuru said then ran away towards the small alley beside them.

"Hey, where are you going?" Rin asks and pursues Izuru along with Iona.

Izuru continued to run down the alley, until he stopped in the front alley of the houses that were clinging to each other. "Oh, where is this?" Izuru asked looking confused.

"Hey! Where are you running to?" Tanya Rin came from behind with Iona.

"Where is this?" Ask Iona.

"It seems I've been through here. Ah right, let's go this way!" Rin said then ran in followed by Izuru and Iona.

While running after Rin, Izuru seemed to recall something very important. "Wait a minute!" Izuru pulled Rin's hand to stop running.

"What's wrong?" Ask Rin.

"Are you sure you've been on this road. Just a few days ago you got into the wrong cave full of centipedes."

"Just relax, I've really been through here." Rin convinces Izuru.

"I don't think I'm sure about him." Iona's whisper in Izuru's ear.

"You think I believe him?" The whisper behind Izuru. They then started walking on Rin's lead.

A few hours later the sun was already at the western end, Izuru and his comrades were still in a place that had no idea what his name was.

"Well... Huh... Why haven't you reached yet?" Ask Izuru.

"It's not like this is the path I remember." Said Rin nervously.

Izuru immediately pulled up Rin's collar and said. "What did you say!!?" Izuru said as she looked at Rin intently.

"I thought this was gonna happen." Iona said as she squatted down and played a small pebble below.

"Uhh... Sorry, I forgot."

"Forgotten!? I told you to remember." Izuru said while shaking Rin.

"But how can we go home? I don't remember the road we walked." Said Izuru releasing Rin.

"What if we just ask the people around here?" But..." Iona looked around which there were only the three of them. "Since then there's no one but us here." Connect Iona.

"So how?" Ask Izuru.

"I can actually use the earth element to look over its exit. But, it could ruin this path."

"Foolish by the way, the important thing is we can get out of here. After all, no one but us is passing through this path, so it's okay." Izuru said and took Rin halfway, then left her there. Izuru returned near Iona who was already preparing with her magic book by the roadside. "Ok, let's get started!" Izuru.

Iona's book began to glow and the ground around it began to shake, then the ground under Rin soared up quickly to exceed the height of the building there.

"How, can you see the way..!?" Izuru Shouted.

"Yes, I can see it..!" Rin answered from above.

"Good, quick memorize! Just watch until you forget again." Izuru shouted, but on the road something moved. "What's that?" Ask Izuru inwardly. It turned out to be a pebble, but something made it move. Izuru was curious and wanted to take a little closer look. But when Izuru gets closer. Suddenly the pebble was pulled quickly into a small alley there. "What's!? Same thing as before?" Izuru said in a surprised heart. He then intends to follow the pebble.

"Hey Izuru! Where are you going?" Iona asked, standing on the spot.

"Just look around for a second, I won't be far." Izuru said then walked into the alley where the pebble was interested. When Izuru arrived, there was not only a dead end. Izuru looked down and saw a bronze coin on the ground. "This...?" Izuru then took it and sure enough, it turns out that on the coin there are thin threads exactly like his coin. "What's!? How can it be here?" Izuru asked in surprise.

"Hey! What are you doing there?" Iona asked coming from behind.

"It's nothing." Izuru replied, then they returned to the road earlier.

"I've memorized it!" Rin said jumping down from the towering ground that had come back down to short.

They got home at night. Izuru who was sitting on the living room chair and fanned herself with the palm of her hand. "It's hot, Rin took a long bath." Izuru said complaining of heat. Suddenly the sound of knocking on the door came from the front. "Who's coming night." Izuru asked and opened the door. And it turns out that the one outside is Shun, the person Izuru hates. "Are you again!? What do you want, how do you know our house?"

"I'm here looking for Iona, not you." Answer Shun.

"It's not polite to go to people's houses."

"Who's coming?" Rin asked out of the other room wearing a towel. "It turns out you're again?"

"Excuse me, is Iona home?" Shun asked for entry past Izuru.

"Woy! Who let you in!?" Izuru asked annoyed.

"Iona's upstairs, in her room." Rin answered, then Shun walked up the stairs without any excuse.

"He's a fuck? Enter people's homes without permission." Ask Izuru.

"Maybe there's something important he has to do. I'm curious too, let's follow him." Rin replies and follows Shun upstairs, followed by Izuru.

"What's wrong?" Iona asked standing at the door of her room.

"Anu, it's about that time at the gun store." Answer Shun.

"So, let's get in!" Said Iona coming into her room with Shun.

"What's!? He let strangers into his room. I cannot look into his room." Izuru.

"Well, compared to him, you're less handsome than him." Rin.

"The woman's only physical eyes."

"By the way I want to peek inside, what are they doing?" Said Rin approaching to the door of Iona's room and started peering out of the keyhole. "Wooaah...!!? No way, they did it..!" Rin.

"What's!? What are they doing!? Move aside I want to see too!" Izuru said pulling Rin away from the door, then it was her turn to peek. "What..? It can't be..." Inner Izuru looked extremely shocked. What are Iona and Shun doing inside? Looking forward to the next chapter!
