Chapter 96 - Midnight Lessons

The sword moved quickly towards Migaki, his face was flooded with sweat. It was too late to avoid Shun's sword getting closer.

Suddenly Migaki's expression turned into a smile. "It's a little hot in here, huh?" Migaki.

"What?" Shun asked, then he realized that there was something very hot behind him. Looking back, it was a huge fireball that was heading towards him from behind.

"When did he bring out that fireball..!?" Shun asked in his heart.

Migaki then repels Shun's sword with his wand and strangles him. Shun could not move and a fireball came hitting his back.

"Armghh....!" Shun shouted in pain.

Migaki throws the wounded Shun to the ground. Looks like the back of the shirt burned out until his back blistered.

"You know what a part of you is lacking Everything!" Migaki said then walked to the edge of the arena.

Karin runs past Migaki and comes to Shun. "Shun, are you okay? Take it easy, I'll heal you soon!" Said Karin looking at Shun's already limp face.

Karin then uses healing magic to Shun. Migaki sat on the edge of the arena fanning himself with his hands and pulling his front shirt.

Migaki then raised one hand forward and then raised the water in front of his hand. "Create an element form of mana energy in your body and release it." The water in his hand then fell into a hold.

"It looks so easy." Shun.

"Yes, fine." Shun then raised his right hand forward and his left hand held the other wrist.

"..." - ".He just kept quiet like that.

"Why are you quiet!?" Ask Migaki.

"Anu, how do I do it?" Shun asked back.

"Good god this kid." Said Migaki patting the eel. He put his hand in his pocket and threw a piece of paper at Shun.

"Use that spell."

Shun read it at a glance, then started reading it. "Goddess..."

"Read it in your heart." Migaki said cutting off Shun's words.

Shun then read the spell in his heart, and suddenly felt something from his right hand. It was as if something was flowing from his body towards the tips of his fingers and a soft, cold air was touching every surface of the skin. The air gathered in front of Shun's hand, and turned into a ball of water.

"Please...!" Shun looked surprised by what he did.

"Good, you can already perform basic elemental magic. Now let's let go."

"Once how?"

"Let go! Undo the spell!"

"How do I do it?" Shun asked, while the water ball in front of his hand became bigger.

"Hey, quickly abort! Or where you'll be finished!"

Shun seemed to be unable to undo his magic, even now that the water ball was almost as big as their bodies. Migaki approached and clasped Shun's wrist to help him.

"Feel that spell you mentioned in your mind." Said Migaki driving Shun.

Shun then concentrates on the spell in his mind, and imagines destroying it just as Migaki had told him to. Shun opened his eyes and...

"Destroyed!" Shun Shouted.

Instantly the water ball exploded and threw them in the opposite direction.

"Oh, what's going on?" Shun asked woke up and saw that his surroundings were already wet like after a heavy rain. Shun's entire body and clothes were also drenched due to the explosion.

"Basic fool!" Shouted Migaki sitting on the ground after being thrown earlier. "You should have canceled it! Not even blow it up!" Reciprocity.

Migaki saw his clothes were soaked, he then squeezed his robe and skirt.

"Look at what you've done! I got soaked like this! in the middle of the night!" Said Migaki standing up.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it could happen." Shun.

"Here we go, let's just end the training today. I could get sick from the cold." Migaki walks away followed by Shun.

Slowly the light that illuminated the training arena dimmed and finally died a moment after they left from there.

Migaki went into Karin's room. His little brother was still asleep. Migaki smiled at her, he immediately took off all his wet clothes, then went to sleep while hugging Karin.
