Arc 3 End - Chapter 92 - Lore of GoldWar

"Gordens?" Izuru said and rubbed his eyes as if he could not believe what he saw.

"Gorden!" Call Izuru while sticking to the iron bars.

Gorden opened his eyes and raised his face looking forward. Instantly surprised to see Izuru was opposite him.

"You...? Why is it here?" Ask Gorden.

"Is all this right? Are you, gonna end up here?" Ask Izuru.

Gorden smiled briefly and replied. "really. I don't want to run anymore."

"Are you not afraid of death?" Ask Izuru.

"Of course I'm scared. But, instead of me continuing to pursue guilt, it's better to face it and it'll all be over." Clear Curtains.

"But, there's gotta be another way, right!?"

Gorden fell silent at Izuru's words, and smiled. "Thank you, you're my only friend left." Gorden.

"It seems like it's time soon." Said Gorden then stood up.

"What?" Izuru said confusedly.

"You didn't hear? The king almost finished his speech."

"No..." Izuru said surprised.

"Oh yeah, I want to tell you something. The forest near the western mountains, I left something there. I originally wanted to give it to my friend Zhagi, but she is no more. Therefore, I'll give it to you." Gorden.

"What's in there?" Ask Izuru.

"You'll find out. All right, I'll go first." Said Gorden standing at the door of the cell and the guards came and took him out.

"The curtain..!" Shouted Izuru trying to open the door of her cell.

Izuru then pulled out his sword and pierced the keyhole, but still could not open.

"The curtain...!"

Izuru then tried to break down the door many times with all his might. But still can't. Finally Izuru used the poison element around the sword blade, then swung it at the iron door and created a spark that then burned his sword.

"I have to get out of here...!" Izuru's shout slashed at the cell door many times with his burning sword.

The curtains were already walking in the middle of the arena towards the execution tool. People shouted at Gorden while throwing stones at him making many wounds on his face. While what Izuru did instead made the guards come there.

"Hey! Stop that..!" Shouted the guard while carrying a spear.

Izuru saw the guard carrying a key. "That's it! I have to get the key." Izuru said in his heart.

He continued to slash at the cell door until it made the guard come closer and finally at the door. The guard loaded his spear into the cell and almost hit Izuru.

"Stop that!" Said the guard.

Izuru immediately pulled his spear to the point of making the guard hit the iron bars, with which Izuru could retrieve the key after it kicked the guard down.

Izuru opened the cell door as fast as he could and ran away down the hallway which saw a bright light and two guards in front.

"Someone get him!" Shouted the guards behind Izuru.

"Almost there!" Izuru said in his heart.

The curtains had already reached the middle of the arena. The executioners then locked Gorden's head on the decapitation device. Along with Izuru who had come out of the hallway, but was immediately caught by the other guards.

"Take me off!" Shouted Izuru instantly speechless looking at the Curtains there.

King Hyron came down to do the punishment. While carrying the sword, the King was in front of the locked Curtain.

The king raised his sword preparing to cut the rope that held the large blade above. Then, swing it...

"No...!!!" Shouted Izuru immediately closing her eyes.

Suddenly silence enveloped the entire place, there was nothing to hear except a drizzling sound. Izuru slowly opened her eyes, and....

He saw the sword of the King close to the rope. The king stopped the swing of his sword before the rope was cut off, which astonished everyone there.

"Your Majesty?" Call one of the executioners over there.

"You're a great Crgoshiro. You've shown the courage to accept punishment, so I'm canceling this punishment." Said King Hyron.

"Bring him back to the special prison." Keep King.

Instantly everyone there was very surprised by the King's decision. Some residents immediately shouted to continue the sentence. But the King did not listen to all that and immediately went back upstairs.

"What the hell is this? There's something weird here." Miss Reshieka said.

The King explained that the Kingdom still needs Crgoshiro, he had proven himself sorry by not escaping from prison even though he was not guarded and resigned to accept the death that was in sight.

The statement made many people begin to understand the King's decision, but some people still feel that the King acted unfairly. Those who did not agree with the decision began to feel that the King was no longer what he was.

After all that, Crgoshiro was taken to prison with very tight guard, whether until when he would be there. Meanwhile Izuru is picked up by Miss Reshieka and it seems that all the guards already know her.

Finally they returned to the city of Spanric when night fell...

"Izuru, don't do such a stupid thing again. Maybe you don't know the worst thing that could happen if you dare mess with a big kingdom." Said Miss Reshieka sitting with Izuru inside the horse carriage.

"I'm sorry, but it's all done. Even though I don't know when we'll see each other again, at least she'll still have a chance of a better life someday." Answer Izuru.

"Maybe in 20 years you can see her." Miss Reshieka said.

"Hopefully..."

In a special prison, Gorden sat quietly with chains on his legs and hands. He only thought about his two best friends, and no matter what happened. Moments later someone came and stood in front of him, he was His Majesty the King.

"What do you want from me?" Ask Gorden.

"Nothing, I just don't want to lose my only son." Answer King.

"That was before you left Mom with me and preferred the throne."

"Forgot that, we can start all over again. Like before."

"Hmphc... It will never..."
