Chapter 29 - The Resurrection of the Generator!

Izuru who was walking towards the tower in the middle of the village. "The village is pretty big, it's almost a quarter of the city." Izuru said while looking around. Then he saw in front of him the tower was already visible. "That's it!" Izuru then immediately ran over. When he peered inside a little, inside there was no one. "Hello..? Is anyone here?" Call Izuru a little slowly. "Maybe they're upstairs, I'll just go in." Izuru then went inside, but as he walked up the stairs he saw a slightly glowing underground staircase. Izuru then got curious and descended underground slowly.

"So how, can the shield be turned back on?" Shun asked squatting near Iona who was doing some kind of magic with a big old stone in front of him. It seemed like the stone was where Shun's legendary sword had struck.

"No, it was the sword magic energy that gave this magic artifact the energy to emit protective waves. We need to find a large, long-lasting source of energy, and then I'll adjust the energy intake to the artifact so as not to cause any damage." Obviously Iona then he removed the magic circle that was in his palm. "Sorry, you brought me here to help. But I can't do anything." Iona.

"You've done everything you can, it's okay. Now, I must be able to control this legendary sword!" Shun.

"Yes, it is my duty to accompany the chosen one." Iona said, then they smiled at each other.

Izuru heard all their talk from behind the wall. Izuru moved her teeth and clenched her hands. "I don't feel jealous or anything. Because what I'm thinking about now is the possibility to be like it used to be, it's gone. I just want to fight with Iona and Rin like that time, because for me friends are very valuable things. But, Iona was indeed assigned to accompany her, Shun and Rin would definitely choose to fight alongside the real hero rather than me." Izuru said inwardly, then he went back upstairs and left the tower.

Izuru was then in the house he had occupied. He was sitting at the dinner table with some people, but Izuru was silent and had not touched his food at all. He looked at the people chatting with each other. "Iona's still not back and Rin seems to have a new acquaintance.I can only talk to Asura, but he's not here." Thought Izuru while playing her food with a spoon.

"Hey." Call someone from the side. Izuru then looked towards the voice, it was Kyoko. "You don't eat your food? I heard your stomach sound a couple of times." Said Kyoko sitting alone and a little away from Izuru's seat.

"What do you care about me?" Ask Izuru.

"That voice bothers me so much." Answer Kyoko.

"How can you hear from there." Izuru asked without looking towards Kyoko.

"I can hear everything, it's very noisy here." Answer Kyoko.

"Why don't you just go there?" Izuru asked and ate the food.

"I'm going to go." Kyoko then stood up and immediately walked out of the place.

Izuru was still sitting inside and eating his food. After that Izuru went out and sat down on a bench by the roadside, just as he used to when he had nowhere to stay. After a while, Izuru fell asleep there.

"Those monsters are not to be expected, I will advance this time."

"Hey wake up!"

Izuru immediately woke up. "What's up!?"

"The second wave is coming! Let's go to the fort!" Said the soldier then ran in followed by Izuru.

"Right, how did this happen? Can they come up with a strategy?" Ask one of the soldiers near Izuru.

Rin who was above was shooting one by one monsters that emerged from the forest. But he saw something strange coming from the forest. "That'S...? There's someone in the woods...!" Shouted Rin.

"Is there someone in the woods!? Was he attacked?" Asked the commander yesterday from below, then he went upstairs to see the person Rin was referring to. "Where?" Ask Commander.

"So it's right there in front of us!"

"Is he under attack?" Ask commander.

"No, on the way to the fortress. The monsters ignored him!"

"Everything! Be careful when attacking...! There's someone in the woods, let him in!" Commander said.

"There's someone?" Izuru asked then he tried to look into the forest from the fortress. That person finally came out of the forest on a leisurely walk. "Why does it look weird?" Ask Izuru.

"Everyone be careful with your shots! Don't use a catapult for a while!" Shouting commander.

The man walked closer and began to see that she was a girl. "You quickly open the window for him to enter!" Said the soldier ordering Izuru.

"Are you sure? What if the monsters come in too?" Ask Izuru.

"We'll take care of you!"

"All right!" Izuru said then he opened a window in the fort. "Hey you miss! Let's get in!" Call Izuru. The girl came to the window that was opened. "Let's get in! You'll be safe inside! Come on, head first!" Izuru said to get the girl inside. The girl just kept quiet, then she took out something from inside her sleeve. A round bottle filled with blue-colored liquid in his grasp, then the girl threw it inside past the window that Izuru opened. "What!?" Izuru dodged the girl's throw and the bottle broke behind the fortress. "What are you doing!?" Ask Izuru.

"Ehehehe... You idiot!" Said the girl laughing then she stretched out her hand and appeared a magic circle in both her hands. The liquid from the already diffused bottle was glowing and suddenly from the ground appeared many undead.

"The undead! There's an undead inside!" Shouted one of the soldiers.

"What...!? How did they get in!?" Ask the Commander immediately down from the archer tower.

The undead attacked all the soldiers defending the fortress. Then all of them left their posts to kill the undead who had arrived. Izuru left the girl and helped kill the undead.

Izuru swung his sword and slashed at some undead there. But the longer, the more undead it sprung from the ground. "There's no end." Izuru said then he looked towards the fortress that had been hollowed out due to the monsters outside. "If this continues to be possible, the fortress will be destroyed! That girl, is she the leader of these monsters?" Ask Izuru inwardly.
