Chapter 15 - Mining Services part 1

Izuru seemed to be looking through the quest board, looking for a quest they could complete. But he seems to have found none. "Well... Nothing is equivalent to our level." Izuru.

"Did you guys find any good ones?" Rin asked Izuru and Iona beside him.

"Nothing good." Answer Izuru.

"I have a good one." Iona replied, then Izuru and Rin looked at Iona while folding hands and squinting. "What's wrong?" Ask Iona.

"Now what should we be?" Ask Izuru.

"Don't you know, are we off first?" Said Rin leaning against the guild wall.

"Hm... It's easy to do, but it has great results. How about mining? We can open the iron ore collector service!" Said Izuru getting a brilliant idea.

"Good idea! We can promote our services to the blacksmith. I also know a good place for it." Rin.

"I am a genius! Then let's go now!" Said Izuru then the three of them came out of the guild in style. They came to one of the biggest blacksmiths in town.

"Hm... So you guys really want to open a mining service?" Asked a muscular bald man at a blacksmith's place.

"Yes, we're unemployed. If you are interested, please make a list of the ingredients and their characteristics. Costs according to the selling price." Lina replied and then mentioned the conditions.

"Well, finding people willing to mine is a bit difficult and iron ore traders only come twice a year. All right, I'll take your services!" The man said to the ironclad thinking about their offer, and immediately agreed. "Let me write the list first." Keep the guy.

The three of them had already started walking out of the city gate, Izuru who appeared to be carrying a sizable bag and Rin was reading through the list of blacksmiths earlier. "Hm... That person's request was quite a lot, I'm not sure Izuru can take it all home." Rin said as he glanced towards Izuru.

"So you don't intend to help me?"

"Ask the man next to you, he never did anything." Rin said pointing towards Iona, they both glanced at Iona.

Iona who was looking at the little butterfly in her hand was aware of Rin's innuendo. "Hm... Who, me?" Iona asked while pointing at herself.

"Who else is it?" Ask Rin.

"You're also next to Izuru right?"

"I mean left!" Rin said annoyed.

"The two of you didn't do anything, I'm the one who had this super genius idea! So 80 percent of me are working, while you're just doing... I don't know." Izuru.

"Maybe you mean it's 80 percent complaining?"

They stopped arguing as they entered the forest, then passed an old bridge over the river as they exited the forest. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, unlike in the city, here were only those people who existed as far as the eye could see. The sun was already directly overhead, sweat dripping from Izuru's chin, he was also already unable to walk upright. "Hey, when are we getting here?" Tanya Izuru was exhausted.

"You said that too! Can we rest first?" Ask Izuru who is walking behind Rin and Iona.

"Stop complaining, I'm tired of hearing it." Rin.

"I'll stop complaining if we also stop walking now!" Izuru shouted annoyedly.

"That's her cave!" Said Rin looking at a cave near a large cliff. Then they accelerated their pace there, except for Izuru who kept walking at a steady pace.

"Hey wait for me!" Shouted Izuru, Rin and Iona up in front of the cave, they looked into the cave for a moment. Then came Izuru who was exhausted and immediately dropped himself to the ground.

"Let's go in!" Rin.

"I want to be here for a minute." Izuru said while lying on his stomach with his face pointed towards the ground.

"Yes, you rest first. You'll catch up." Rin said he pulled the bag Izuru was wearing, and then he tried to lift it. But, it was too heavy.then he turned towards Iona and said. "Don't shut up, help me!" Rin said, Iona immediately helped lift the bag on the other side. Then they enter the cave with bags together, the light starts to fade while in the cave, so Rin stops and then picks up the lantern from the bag. "Light this lantern." Said Rin handing her lantern to Iona. Iona then let out sparks from her finger, but they did not ignite immediately, until several experiments. Rin continued walking with the bag herself, followed by Iona as she managed to light her lantern. "Arggh...! This bag is heavy." Rin complains and takes a pickaxe and a rope roll, what is a pickaxe? It can be found in the gugel, then continue walking and leave the bag on the cave wall.

Iona who followed Rin turned her head towards the bag. "Hey, the bag's still there." Iona asked while pointing back.

"No, let Izuru take him." Rin replies continues to walk in followed by Iona. They continued to walk up to a two-pronged tunnel.

"Where are we going?"

"Hm... Do I remember going left, or right? Right, Yes, right! I mean left, left. Ah no! Oh, which one?" Rin said worriedly.

"Hurry up, or we can be here all day." Iona said with a flat face.

"I know! Cap flower cup buds, choose which one you want in.... Cups!" Rin's finger pointed at the left tunnel. "Ha! This way!" Rin said then walked into the left tunnel, followed by Iona who was carrying a lantern.

Izuru who was still lying on the ground, then woke up. Izuru who was still half conscious looked around. "So they really went in without me?" Izuru said while clearing his face from the ground. "What if the cave is branched? Huh... Troublesome." Izuru said standing up, but on the ground was a small yellow and slightly worn paper. "What's this?" Izuru asked taking the paper and opened the paper. "This? This mine map. Did they drop it?" Izuru asked in surprise. "Maybe this was deliberately left for me so as not to get lost. I better take them." Izuru said folding the map again, then went into the mine.

When it goes deep enough, the light starts to recede. But then Izuru found their bag slung against the wall. "This bag, why did they leave it here?" Tanya Izuru took the oil lantern from inside the bag, then carried the bag. "How do I turn it on? In this age there's been a lighter yet, huh?" Izuru saw a medium-sized stone in front of him, and immediately got an idea. "All right, let's light up!" Izuru said, then hit the stone towards the pickaxe from the bag and immediately sparks out and burn the lantern's axis. "Good!"

Izuru then continued to travel into the mine, when he reached the branch he immediately opened the map earlier. The map shows that the metal mine went in through the right.

"Yeah....!" Shouted Rin from the left tunnel.

"What's going on!?" Izuru asked and then he ran into the left tunnel. As he ran in there was a sign that fell on the ground that read, Danger!!!
