Chapter 14 - A Magic Seasoning

Quiet river water, reflecting the beautiful moonlight. The fish swam here and there without worrying about anything. No one can resist relaxing in a place like this. "Yeah!!" A sword slid towards several fish, but none of them were hit. Izuru, who was in the middle of the river less than his knee, pulled his sword back, then got ready to catch another fish.

"Let's go we're hungry soon." Said Iona sitting with Rin in front of the bonfire by the river.

"Can you stop complaining and help me!?" Izuru asked annoyed.

A little while later Rin came with two fish in her hand. "It." Rin said he gave one fish to Iona. But, when received, suddenly the fish moved from Iona's hand, then fell to the ground.

"Just kill him, here's how." Rin said then he grabbed the fish's head and squeezed it to the ground. Izuru and Iona can only look at Rin with a look of disdain. "Hmm.. What's up?" Ask Rin.

Izuru and Iona instantly turned their backs. "It's okay, I'll wash this fish first." Iona said he took the fish and went to the river.

Izuru who had just realized that one side of the fish was charred immediately raised it. Izuru then blew on the fish that was still hot, then tried one bite. "Fram... There's no taste." Izuru said in his heart.

Rin who noticed Izuru looked strange as she ate her grilled fish, then asked. "What's wrong? Not good, huh?" Ask Rin.

"Yes, this is bland." Answer Izuru. On the other hand, Iona again sat down near the brands both.

Rin then took something from her Sling bag. "Try this! Croots!" Rin said he poured a thick, brownish liquid from a small leather pouch on the Izuru fish.

"Hey, what are you doing!?" Izuru asked in surprise and immediately pulled the fish. Then Izuru tried to smell the thick liquid, "the smell is strange and stinging, what is this?" Izuru asked suspiciously.

Izuru pulled back the fish, then smelled it once more. Slowly Izuru opened his mouth, then bit the fish slowly. "Buck....!!! This crazy is delicious....!" Izuru shouted in admiration, then greedily ate the fish to the end.

"I thought you'd like it." Rin said she was about to pour the liquid on her fish, but Iona picked it up and poured it out herself by drawing the star emblem on the fish.

After burning it for a while, Iona immediately ate it. "Great, this is so good! What exactly is this?" Ask Iona.

"That's my secret recipe! So no one can know, my mother just doesn't." Answer Rin.

"Smart cook but ungodly." Izuru said while biting the remains of the flesh that was on the bone.

"it's not shameless! He didn't ask, so I didn't tell him!" Rin said annoyed.

"Yes, I'm going to sleep." Izuru said he threw the twig of the former fish back, then he removed the protective can on his left shoulder and then lay down on the grass. "Huffs... I'm still in the shadow of comfort when I sleep on a real mattress." Izuru said inwardly as he stared at the moon with a glittering star around it, as well as a large green circle in the northern sky. Even the shooting star did not seem to be anything difficult to find here, subconsciously it slowly made Izuru fall asleep soundly. Rin and Iona nodded again without feeling sinful. Izuru fell bowed, bent his knees and rested his body with both hands on the ground, a sign of regret. "Why didn't I wake up?" Izuru said regretfully inwardly.
