Chapter 18 - After the Battle

"ugh..." Izuru slowly opened her eyes. "Huh... Whose room is this?" Izuru asked quietly, then he looked around. He was in a pretty nice room, paintings, bookshelves, desk chairs, cabinets, and a comfortable bed. Then Izuru raised his left hand which was entirely wrapped in a white cloth.

"Asura, you're coming faster now?" Rin said faintly from outside the room.

"Asura..?" Izuru asked hearing the conversation from outside.

"Yes, I'm on vacation right now." Said Asura while opening the door of the room Izuru was in. As he turned around Asura was surprised to see Izuru who had already opened his eyes. "Izuru!? Are you conscious? You guys, Izuru is awake!" Call Asura then immediately get closer to the bed.

"Izuru, are you awake?" The word Rin goes into the room followed by Iona. "How are you feeling?" Ask Rin near Asura.

"I feel good.What happened?"

"You were exposed to the poison in the monster's blood while tearing it apart. It's a good thing Iona can use healing magic, so your injuries aren't too severe." Rin clearly.

"I'm sorry, where did I run out when you fell from that monster. So the Blessing effect is gone and your right hand is broken." Connect Iona.

"My hands!? It can be cured, can't it?" Izuru asked frantically while looking at her stiff right hand wrapped in cloth.

"Of course, it might take a while." Answer Rin.

"Is that? Where is this, by the way?"

"This is our new home!" Answer Rin.

"We? You mean the three of us, right?" Ask Izuru.

"Yes, who else?" Ask Rin.

"It's okay, don't think about it." Answer Izuru.

"Are you hungry? I'll bring you food, I'll treat you if your hands still hurt." Said Asura lifting up and putting a basket on the bed.

"Let me eat it myself. I need a little rest, so you guys get out first." Izuru refused.

"Well then, you do need a lot of rest." Asura said then walked out of the room, followed by the others. Asura then took the coat that was draped on the chair, then said. "Then I go home first. I'll be here again tomorrow." Asura said then walked out the front door. Iona continued to look at Asura until he left.

"That's how Asura cares for Izuru. Even he cried when he saw me and Rin carrying the unconscious Izuru at the gate, he also brought his master's personal healer to check on Izuru." Iona said as she watched Asura leave, from the window. After Asura was not seen again, Iona then took a glass of water and entered Izuru's room. "Shy?" Iona asked briefly.

"Ah thank you." Said Izuru who was sitting on the mattress with a food basket from Asura receiving a glass of water from Iona, but when Iona removed the glass Izuru dropped it. Water soaked the floor and a little bit about Iona's shoes, "oh, sorry! My hands are limp." Izuru.

"Then why did you refuse Asura's help?" Iona asked as she lowered her head to pick up the fallen wooden glass.

"I just don't want to bother you."

"Is that?"

"Where did you get the money to buy this house?" Ask Izuru.

"Since the monster yesterday made a hole towards the small crystal cave, we took everything and sold it. Maybe now the mine is crowded again." Obviously Iona.

"Did they know there was a huge centipede monster?" Ask Izuru.

"Huh!? So what's the point of us defeating him!?" Ask Izuru.

"Have you seen your level?" Ask Iona.

"Levels?" Izuru immediately tried to see his level, when it opened his level had already increased from level 2 to level 7. "7? Just adding 5 levels? How much more are you going to grow?"

"I'm level 8." Answer Iona.

"Level 8!? How could? You didn't help attacking, why can mine 4 levels?'

"I think my Blessing is counted as a very helpful support."

"What about Rin?" Ask Izuru.

"He's level 15."

"What's!? So it wasn't me who did the most damage? I was the worst hurt." Izuru asked disappointedly.

"Here you go, you better take a break before this genre of action novel is gone." Iona said to go with the wooden glass.

"Eh wait! Can you help me eat? My hands are so limp."

"Don't you say you can do it yourself?" Iona asked, still going. Izuru could only see him coming out of the room, then Izuru looked at the food basket from Asura, which was on his lap.

Izuru was still trying to lift up a piece of bread with trembling hands, then the bread fell back into the basket. There is no choice but to eat the food in the basket without using your hands. "If I don't try now, I won't be able to do anything forever. I don't want that!" Izuru said inwardly as she ate the food in the basket by lowering her head to get into the basket.

On the other hand, Iona was still peeking at Izuru from the gap of the slightly opened door. "Worthy the help of others, or trying in your own strength without the help of anyone, which is better? I don't know." Inner Iona saw Izuru trying to eat her food.

In the afternoon Izuru fell asleep, Iona closed the door of Izuru's room after checking it out. Then came Rin who carried a white hairy object past Iona who was standing in front of Izuru's room. "What's that?" Iona asked to see Rin carrying something.

"This? Rabbit, what's wrong?"

"It looks like it's alive."

"It's alive, look!" Rin said then shaking the rabbit in his hand, suddenly the rabbit moved in rebellion. "Don't keep moving! Cretek!" Rin's voice hit the rabbit hard to his knee, it seemed like the rabbit's bones were broken, but it was still not dead.

"Isn't there a knife in the kitchen?" Iona said with Rin's behavior.

"Yes, I'll cook it soon. You want to help?" Ask Rin in front of the kitchen.

"No, I'm going somewhere." Iona said then went out in her usual home clothes. He walked in the city under a bright yellow sky, with a slight cloud covering. Iona stopped at a clinic, he went in and asked the doctor there for something.

"If it is like that characteristic, your friend has indeed healed. Just the adjustment of his own body, healing magic is indeed truly extraordinary." Said the healer sitting at his desk and Iona who was standing in front of his desk.

"Thank you for the information." Iona said out of the place. And stand in front of the clinic for a while. "That means this plan will go well." Iona said inwardly with a smile.

We're moving into Miss Reshieka's mansion. "Ehh..!? Izuru and I, take a walk!? Tomorrow!?" Asura asked in surprise.
